  1. Might not be a great loss for society , and there's plenty more who should be in the same boat , we with too much people on this planet anyway . But that is not the way to do it , and not the way i want to police to treat people , even if they do something wrong . Why ? because the action should be equal to the threat . Meaning somebody in a wheelchair with a knife poses a risk , but certainly something a trained police should be able to handle . Then maybe you ask why ? , well what is next , shoot somebody for speeding ? for throwing a piece of paper to the ground ? Like i said , the man might be wrong and no loss for society , but it is not the way the police should act .

The price on solar panels is pretty ok , on the surrounding things , well as far as i've seen they are not at all cheapest . I just copied a few links from Lazada , there's plenty there .
  3. Getting back slowly but surely . Will happen everywhere else also , with the hickups involved ( see Europe ) . Not all is fine right now , and will still be for a few years (at least) , but there certainly is a neon light at the end of the tunnel .
  4. Well it's Murica for something , they like shooting guns ... They could just pushed him over , since he was holding a knife , but then again those weapons need to be used .
  5. Not at 90mph , but just give that , you are over speed limit at 90mph . BTW , many limit their max speed at around 110mph ( 180km/h) , well above anybody should drive . They are in general heavier then other cars , due to battery weight .
  6. Some say the vaccine makes you 5G ready ....
  7. The real story is wait until real results , i heard some virologist say , too soon , can't be true , others say , wait to be confirmed , others say it looks like less sick ... wait till results. It will show , it might be good might be bad .
  8. Well yes , you get vaccinated , and then you done all you can , but you still do the same like anybody else should do , meaning , mask , keep distance , wash hands , and if all person would do same , then we will be fine . Being vaccinated does not give you a 100% rule .It is sad but the expectations of a vaccine which is rushed ( not untested but it still is speed up as fast as can be ) were like ; we hope it works 100% , which were unrealistic . Yes vaccinated can spread and can get sick , less then unvaccinated but surely not 100% .
  9. My niece stopped working in hospital because of covid , too much work , not enough paid for a job like that , and she was trained a master study nurse . She used to be a terminal cancer treatment nurse ... so she can handle some stuff .
  10. Giving a vaccine is as easy as it gets , if you can put a needle in a muscle you can do . Arm is normally used , but in case of untrained persons , a needle in the buttock will do also . It is put intramuscular , so any muscle will do .
  11. IF it really is like that , yes it is a good thing . But so far it is unknown , since it was detected in a heavy infected Delta area , so most did have Delta before . Also in SA where most of population is young , meaning less affected anyway , and having covid ( Delta) before , might have caused less effect . Way to early to tell ....
  12. May or may not , vaccine works or works not , just as sick or not , all guessing work atm . We all want to know and it will show , but at this moment it is too soon to say . Yes , sure , would be great if it is more transmission but less sick , but it is way to early to tell . People like this should be banned , since same like anti vaxxers they create fuel if it goes other way around . Just tell the truth , it is too early to tell , we check and recheck , and as soon as 1st results come in , then say it looks ok but with a certain degree of not sure . Wait a week or 2 , we will know more .
  13. They ignore because they want to ignore , stating "the range " and again " the range " and let's not forget "charging " . Unless you are are driving more then 150km per day , then you can perfectly charge your EV at home without a special charge box , straight out of any normal plug , like it is a electric drill or lawnmower or microwave .As far as i know , most people do not drive that much . You come home from work/shopping/whatever , you plug it in . You not have to go find a charger . Next the range , well most (nearly all ) handle 300km without charging anything , and many handle more then 400km . If you need more distance , ok , you need to charge , but be honest , you can handle a 30 min stop after you have driven 300-400 km straight , otherwise you should do . Battery lifecycle , true but the cars coming out now , all of them got a 8y warranty on the battery . It doesn't mean it can't fail , but by far most batteries will last longer then that . EV : pro : super engine , way way better then any combustion engine . They are quiet , got immediate power , any time you want , at max torque every single time . They also require no oilchange , no airfilter , they are basically service free . They can fail in rare occasions , and it will be costly if that might happen . Yes , it does require a different kind of driving /fueling , since you come home and plug it in , which is something else then driving to petrol station every xx km . And if you want to go on a longer trip , then you need to check ( most if not all cars have that already) where there is a charging station along the way . I do admit , living in a city creates some issues , like cannot charge from inside your condo , but the times are changing and EV loading stations will be there fast somewhere within walking distance .
  14. Now that there a re a few medicines underway for Covid , would anti vaxxers will be removed from having them also ? At least there's more and more countries making vaccines mandatory , won't take long before it happening .
  15. It is more then enough . Check for filter blockage . 2nd and what i think this is : the route the waterline takes . Meaning , small pipe , long way , many corners . How to solve it ... this might be tricky . Cut down the route to upstairs . Instead of the long pipe with each tap going out , and finally going upstairs , check if you can go upstairs faster . Potentially cutting the main entrance ( pressure side from pump ) to make a connection there to go upstairs already . Stronger pumps , essentially got about the same pressure . It is only the flow which is higher . There are off course different pumps , but unless you are working with something else then the blue pipes i wouldn't recommend it . Other option , small inline booster pump in line going up . They are cheap and very small . https://www.lazada.co.th/products/220v-100w-silent-booster-water-pump-220v-booster-pump-household-mute-for-tap-water-pipelineheater-i1429564768-s3694848161.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.1.37722025Xy77di&search=1
  16. This discussion keeps going and going while we not moving further ahead . What i mean is : any system for normal operation , home or even hotel use , does not need a 500l pressure tank . In case of really needing one , well then it is something very special , and he needs a serious amount of cash , since this is not a home build system and his system needs to be calculated and constructed by specialized companies . He then not have to ask us about it , but asks the specialized company if and why he needs it and if there is a safer/cheaper solution . So what does he need, looking at the OP question is just nothing more then the standard home system , which does have a tank 500-2000l , standard . Costing from 1000-10000 baht , no pressure , and a automatic pump with pressure switch and BLADDER tank . The pump and bladder tank can be of choice , but even a smaller pump of 250watt will do AKA https://www.lazada.co.th/products/hitachi-wmp-150-200-250-300-350-xx-series-10-i2939349763-s10785575259.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.59.72d74f03WDnug9&search=1 and or similar , going from 800baht ( not recommend, motor quality can't be good imho opinion) to 10.000 baht at the really high end range . These pumps normally got bladder tanks inside already , not have to do anything , water in /pressure water out . simple easy not expensive. Most houses ( all foreign owned ) houses got that system . Not difficult neither expensive and nothing dangerous to worry about . I am all for finding home build solutions for over-expensive systems but in this case , it is a clear simple answer .
  17. Possible , but imho doesn't matter . There might be batteries charging in 3 seconds , but all doesn't matter . It is the power going in which is not possible in any near time future . let's say 5 min charge , 50 kWh battery package , which is low to medium grade of the EV now . The electric grid , for 1 single loader , must have a capacity of 600 kW . Thats a huge spike on the grid but possible . But that's the 1 station , take 5 of them , connected to the same HV lines , and the potential is there for a catastrophic failure of the grid .
  18. Are you aware that China makes a lot of products ? Claiming China makes bad quality is just not true , since China makes everything . They make the cheapest things which break down in a day upto high end material which does last longer then you . If it is very cheap and it breaks down , you claim , prob correct oh it is Chinese . While the good quality thing next to it , which you paid a lot more for , is prob Chinese made also . You do get what you pay for , you can't make a good smartphone for 1500 baht , while the Iphone of 40000 baht is made in China also ( i am no Apple lover , but they do make good phones ) . In cars , Tesla 3 is produced in China , Polestar is Chinese . In just about every piece of equipment , China makes all of them , some being lowest of the low , others being highest of the high , and everything in the middle .
  19. Making hydrogen is not difficult at all , even though the efficiency is very low . The problem is , hydrogen does not go in your car . Since hydrogen is rather small , the pressure used is a bit on the high side ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_vehicle 350 to 700 bar or in psi for the US 5000 to 10000 psi . A hydrogen compressor delivering that pressure , good luck finding it anywhere at a price less then the price of 2-3 cars .
  20. As long as the volume is the same yes , agreed .
  21. Well , we don't know much , but what is known is that there are lots of changes vs the "original" strains . Especially the ones on the spike proteines are worrying , since those are used for the vaccines . There are 31 or 32 changes on the spike proteines . Another thing which is worrying that it looks much faster spreading in high Delta environment . Today i heard a 1st potentially good thing , meaning milder symptoms ( way to soon to be confirmed ) . Better try to slow the spread and find out a bit more about this variant , then let everything go on , and if it is a bad variant create problems fast . A couple of days or weeks can give more knowledge .
  22. It is not and i never said it was . https://www.lazada.co.th/products/stellar-30-800w-str-30l-oil-free-air-compressor-30l-i305532962-s529780589.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.6.45f27076bVAD3y&search=1 This is a normal home air compressor . And this is not , while they certainly do exist , any size and any pressure you want . The difference is the volume as i explained . Both might be the same pressure , but they certainly give different effect in case of failure . In case of a 500l tank , that is meant to be a pressure tank , is fine , but the price will be expensive . I am not scared of a bottle being pressurized to 5 bar , but i am scared of a homemade 500l tank being pressurized to 5 bar . A small bladder tank will work for all normal purpose , and is cheap . If you want a bit larger , you can even put 2 ,3,... in the system .
  23. 1200l air compressor , that is not your home setup . The price of it will be according . This will show you the difference . +30y of experience working as process operator in chemical industry , working with pressures of <1 mbar abs to 300 bar . I do know what i am talking about . I might be hilarious , but at least i try to give people honest advice and do tell them about the danger involved .
  24. Isoprop is not a home remedy , that is the real stuff . Windshield liquid is nothing more as what i said , isoprop + water + a drop of dishwash liquid . The amount of isoprop vs water is making the freezing point of the wiper fluid . That is why you see winter and summer liquids . Also some summer liquids have special detergent to take care of insects better then the standard dishwash liquid . Vinegar and ethanol or ammonia would all work also , but they are home remedies and can certainly give issues to plastics ( rubber parts ) . This is the home remedies , and better take care not to mix too much of them inside .
