Very similar to what's happening in Britain and later it will spread to other countries in Europe....
The stunned losers are just a bunch of out of touch so called elites who seem unaware of what is happening in the real world, or if they are aware they don't give a hoot about the normal person in their country.
Yeah, lol, the resistance is taking shape alright, the shape of a turd!

Should've made their way to the U.S.
Lol

As an American, my several Thai bank accounts were closed by the institution because I did not have the proper visa and they did not want to be subject to U.S banking laws.

Sooo...what they're saying is "she's available"?

I know of several people that would just begin killing those higher ups and their families for as long as they were held...

No wonder why I don't live in Thailand anymore, lol
Having this visa will definitely make you a target.

Lol, just like most anti-Trump comments, yours clearly demonstrates cluelessness. The only good thing is your comments are powerless and in vain.
There is no BAN of immigrants.
Trump supporters don't show up for days or weeks at a time to protest cuts in free government handouts.
LIBERAL 9th Circuit doesn't count as an actual court, but we'll see what happens next. You won't like it.
Put your head back in the sand.

What exactly makes these guys a "Foreign Bikers Gang"?
Tank tops, tattoos and driving a car?
Lol,... (insert flame)

Bunch of Thaivisa tightwads, at least donate $5 each, or it may be you next that nobody helps. It's shameful less than 100 people have offered any help so far.

I'm just continually gobsmacked that a convicted criminal who is on the run from a jail sentence and has many more charges pending against him still has the ability to use the Thai legal system to his own advantages.
So are you suggesting that once accused of a crime or convicted (rightfully or wrongfully) you should no longer be allowed to defend yourself, or your rights?
Wow
-
Isn't it a countries policies to cancel any passport for a convicted fleeing criminal? Ohh I forget Thailand is not like other countries. How can Thak defend himself if he never shows up for the hearings?
NO, it isn't.

As far as myself and several others are concerned it is now open season on anyone wearing one of those shirts, involved or not. May as well be wearing a bullseye. Enjoy fellas!

In the Thai press, they report this family holds important positions in the Democrat Party in Pak Kred (Nonthaburi). This is where the arrested "lawyer's" registered address is.
Which one is he?
Don't want to accidentally hire him, as he probably isn't in jail and won't be convicted.

The embassy confirmed that the notes were counterfeit
'Sawadee krap, is that the US embassy?'
'Well howdy, it sure is. How can I help ya'll?'
'We got some $10,000 notes here from the Nan Fransisco Bank, but we not sure if they are real krap'
''Well hold on right there officer. I'm gonna call my boss'
[shouts to his boss] 'Hey Kristie, remember those idiot police last week with the counterfeit notes from the New Pork Bank? This time it's the Nan Francisco Bank!!'
[sound of hysterical laughter in the background]
'Hey there officer. Yes they are fake. I'm gonna send you a nice map of the US of A as well'
'Oh kop khum MAK krap!'
[click as the embassy hangs up abruptly...]
Apologies for my terrible American - I am British and have only a passing knowledge of the American language.....
Simon
It was funny though, lol.

I would say he is simply giving some information, which is much appreciated by at least me.Not so Geng after all.
But don't all the bills (and passports etc) have some spelling errors as additional security features, just in case a person who does the fakes misses those?
From http://www.oldcurrencyvalues.com/10000_Dollar_Bill.html
It is currently thought that just under 60,000 $10,000 bills were printed for circulation for the 1928 and 1934 series combined. Of that 60,000, no more than 336 have survived destruction by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
What's your point ? That its a slight possibility that it was real ? I really don't understand what you are getting at.
So thanks Oilinki.
Intentionally misspelling for security on banknotes?
I am pretty sure they do not. The also do not publicly circulate bills larger than $100.

His name doesn't appear to be Dutch....Looks more English to me,An inconsequential comment to this travesty. His name doesn't appear to be Dutch....Looks more English to me, but never mind...Hope they catch the perps.
A shot-across-the-bow to us inveterate optimists, who think they live in a similarly safe and policed place to what they are accustomed to.
It is Thai wifey who keeps up the 'alert level' for me....Constantly telling me not to be so trusting of Thai people, which route to take home late at night, never stopping for people seeking a ride, even if they are Monks, etc,. etc.
I know this is overgeneralizing and not fair to the Thai people as a whole, who treat me with the utmost respect to which I reciprocate in kind.
If not for warnings from her, I would automatically interact with inquiring Thai's at my front gate, perhaps the same way this person did..........Like the saying goes, "But for the grace of God, there go I".
Frederik Franciscus Lelie. about as English as Robin van Persie.

Van Persie means HOOD.
I just got it, duh! Lol

Hopefully this is a warning to those thinking of retiring in Thailand. Its a violent place and not as safe as you may think. Needless to say i have personally known at least 10 people who have died unnaturally in this country.
I have lived in Thailand for 14 years have not seen as much as a fist fight since leaving Pattaya over a decade ago, seen more problems in the states on my visits, that to me indicates where the real safety is in rural Thailand away from the Farang ghetto cities that are very violent areas caused by locals, many by drunk Farangs.
May you rest in Peace!
Cheers

I am aware of such pronouncements but I know for a fact at any given time most tourists are NOT doing so, nor SHOULD they. It's much safer to lock up your passport at home or in a hotel. Certainly when going to the beach, carrying with your passport would be almost insane.
to your knowledge...
Foreigners carrying passports are usually on some kind of task unless in transit somewhere.
....
By law, you must carry your passport with you at all times in Thailand. Tourists have been arrested because they were unable to produce their passport
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/thailand/local-laws-and-customs
I carry my passport with me always, everywhere I go, even while in the U.S.
I always know where it is, never have to look for it, never without it.
I must be insane.
Lol

You should learn the immigration laws.Fair enough! one Foreigner has been caught cheating and got arrested. So when Thais do the same thing it's perfectly acceptable to cheat?
Â
Double standards and double entrance fees, and now cheating is reserved for Thais only.?Â
Â
Â
Besides the work permit what does any of it have to do with immigration laws?

Right, NO foreigner have a right to go for protest, this is a Native Thai Nation issue and Business. That what I exactly hate in my country or back in Europe, foreigners come to our country's and going on the street to tell us what we should do and what there rights. xxxxxyou all,if you don't like the country you visit then leave it !!!!!!
We should leave it, broke, broken and tattered, then take away the rights and assets of Thais in our countries and send them home, if they are all like you of course...

Ease of access to guns must play a role in this lunacy. Is gun control an issue ? Someone said these can be bought in flea markets. This in a bus terminal? God save us!
Ease of access? Seriously? If everyone had a gun they would not have been in a hurry to go shoot up the place. Proven again and again is that places with the most gun control have the highest rates of gun violence.

Exactly, if Thailand opens its borders to Philippines workers on a massive scale the hotels, hospitals, etc will hire them in droves. better English ,more educated, and extremely hard working.
So 'foreigners' are only Caucasian?!These requirements are not in place to make life difficult for foreigners, he said. They are in place to protect Thai workers. For example, if a company can pay foreigners a low salary below the legal minimum then they may prefer to hire foreigners over Thais."
A country that has a 2% unemployment rate needs laws to protect the jobs of it's citizens from foreigners? Hmmm...What is wrong with this picture?
More educated? Better English? Extremely hard working? Really? Wow, they have you fooled. You haven't spent much time in the Philippines, huh?
That's not how I, or my Filipina wife would describe Filipinos.
