  1. Why don't we make a day of it:

Sweeney Todds for a late breakfast then into the village for an afternoon session in The Emerald followed by a trip up to Bangrak for a curry in Havelis ending up in The Premiership bar for the evening.

All food and drink provided by our wonderfull sponsors?:jap: :partytime2::guitar::burp:

  2. SBK, that is indeed a very nice spot to dive and some local Phangan dive operators will use this for their dive trips, however, Samui based boats will only use this as an alternative site in case the main site is not reachable, since this almost exclusively happens during bad weather conditions that Samui boats visit there, unfortunately the Samui boats and it's divers never get to see Koh Maa in mint conditions.

That could possibly explain why Koh Maa is still in the condition it is in compared to many of the unfortunate sites on Koh Tao. Shhhhhhh

  3. where was the dealership with the leather seats included in the deal?

Chantaburi but just over a year ago so not sure what deals they will be doing now. I seem to recall it was a certain % (a very small % admittedly but enough for leather seats and tints!) of total cost was given for extra accesories of your choice.

  4. There is a small modern(ish) kitchenware shop in Nathon towards the end of the one way system on the left opposite(ish) Tannachart (orange) bank. Not sure about dinnerware but last time I was in there (about 10 months ago) they had some cutlery sets that were at least something better than Tesco / Homepro. Maybe worth a look if your passing.

  5. dont airlines ask you to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight is due to leave?

Usually two.. Which has always been plenty for me..

Most (if not all) airlines are now recomending for international flights to show up 3 hours before flights. Do this and you will have plenty of time to make it through any ridiculous waiting lines that are forming at immigration. Dont take the airlines advice and risk missing your flight. Up to you.

  6. Honda dealer in Trat have (or had last week) red abs 118k

that sounds soo much better. you would not have the tel or adress so i could call them? cheers

Sorry dont have number or address you could try sending a PM to 'drift' as by post number 2266 on pg91 of this thread he seems to use them too. All i can tell you is its on the road from Trat to Laem Ngop (maybe 1km south of Trat center) opposite the shell garage) Approximate location on attached mappost-72115-0-38356900-1298683275_thumb.j

  7. A few pages back somebody asked for prices from Dealers in Trat - the one on the way to Laem Ngop (opposite shell garage) have red ABS 118,000+ 1500 for 'government paper' guess they mean registration and book. Now if they had one in grey it would have just been sold and i'd be 120k worse off but with a huge grin on my face!!

  8. Maybe you (he) could just give the bike back to the finance company and say sorry no can pay! That would probably be the Thai way of dealing with it. Then you go out and buy a new one for 55k (keep it in your name with the book so he cant sell it) and let him pay you back 2k per month till he's paid you back, maybe plus an extra couple of months for interest and being stupid. Guess this would only work if the finance company will accept the bike!

  9. On the receipt we were given at the interview to collect the visa it says that my wife would need to provide travel documents to collect the visa or it would be cancelled. Not sure if just an itinerary would work, we already had the tickets. As for medical insurance would need this at application. Attached are documents they sent me that should help with exactly what you need.

    Requirements Schengen visa-updated.doc

    Schengen visa application.pdf

    Travel Insurance Co. 2010.doc

  10. No problem with her not having any finances as she is married to an eu citizen you can provide your bank statements as evidence of having money. You will need a letter from your parents inviting you to stay with them in Spain and evidence of their residential status and address (ie utility bill). You will need your mariage certificate (If Thai certificate then an official translation into either English or Spanish). 2 completed application forms with photos attached (can be downloaded from www.maec.es/en/Home/Paginas/HomeEn.aspx) Yours and her passport.

You have to apply for an interview appointment via e-mail which they generally give you 14 days from the date of application but this seems easy enough to change of the date is not convenient. The processing time is then given as 14 days (not sure if it actually takes too long as we only had our appointment yesterday)

I'm not 100% sure but think all of this would have to be applied for at the Spanish Embassy in Thailand when you are back here.
