  1. Ive got a HTC Desire and have applied the OTA update to get Andriod 2.2 - but i cant for the life of me figure out how to install Apps to the SD card. Is it an install option, a setting somewhere? How do i do it?

Ive installed a number of apps/games and none of them are on my SD card, i'm running out of space now and need to remove some :(

In the Application menu item, i saw a 'Move to SD' option - i tried that with some of the apps but they stopped working and i was unable to copy them back to the phone memory :(

  2. I'm looking for a very talented Tattoo artist, and its important to get someone who uses quality inks and can make a good, long lasting tattoo. I've searched around and this is the most recent thread about it. Cost isnt important, if i'm gunna wear it for the rest of my life its important to get it right, even if it costs more.

So Jimmy / Joy Wong are good? Where is their shop based nowadays?

  3. I am considering getting an iPhone 4 when they are available in Thailand (or an import from Singapore) but im a little worried about the multi-tasking aspect of the phone.

I currently own and use a HTC Desire (Andriod phone) and i love it, its a great phone and handles everything well... i've read that the iPhone 4 doesnt do multi-tasking properly, it will suspend and save the state of an application when you try to switch between them, meaning if your using something like MSN Messenger or Google chat, you will get signed out and not be able to recieve messages. Is this true?

I want to be able to do things like listen to music, have my MSN client running in the back ground and then check emails/surf the web at the same time, i can do this on the Andriod phone easily enough, but is this possible on the iPhone?

What are the limitations of the iPhone's multi-tasking?

  4. Question: If i buy an iPhone 4 from the Singapore Apple store (and have it shipped to an address in SG) - is that model going to be unlocked, i.e. can i bring it back to Thailand and use it on a Thai Mobile network wit ha Thai SIM?

  5. Last night there was a loud explosion sound and a power cut around Sukhumvit Soi 8 about 8pm (ish) - the French restaurant at the end of the Soi is all roped off with Police crime scene tape and the police are all over the place, does anyone know what happened there?

  6. I've just had the update for Android 2.2 on my HTC Desire, 90mg download, it wiped my APN settings but otherwise seems to have installed without issue, i will check to see that the system is working fine over the next day or so. Hopefully this will now support Thai font.

  7. I'm looking for the Xbox 360 Slim - but my question is whats going to be the difference between the US and Japan version, i cant read Japanese so i would need to have the interface in English... is that possible on the JP Model?

  8. Theres no reason not to get an xbox 360 in Bangkok if your worried about the import duty, it will be a modded one (which has its own set of pros/cons) but should be fairly reasonable in price.

I'm half tempted to do a day trip to Singapore, flying over with Air Asia isnt that expensive and would make for a nice day out :)

  9. i have only ordered once from these guys, everything was fine with the delivery and service etc, but it did get stopped for customs, and i ended up paying something around 30% (it was a long time ago, i dont remember exactly)

  10. Lets keep the red/yellow talk out of it shall we?

Agreed, there are enough political threads out there for you guys to discuss politics, lets not derail this thread by bringing Reds, Yellows, Thaksin or Abhisit into it. Consider this a public warning
