No. There is no law limiting you to 6 entries. The flag is meant as a tool for IO's to interview you about why you come to Thailand so often because they think you might be working.
It would be good if you could post a copy of the message written in your passport.
This has happened before and if you enter again without a visa you should still be ok.
You cannot legally be denied for any amount of visa exempt entries.
Entry into the Kingdom is at the immigration official's discretion....which negates your last statement..regardless of the "legality"

The first time, I received an email back within a couple of hours. Today, no email but I've logged in this afternoon and the approval has been given.
Interesting about the (missing) email.
Same to me in the second report in Khon Kaen.
Approved without email.
I had checked again that I had entered the email adr. correctly.
Seems like yet another SW bug
Same for me. Got email for first report but not for second and my email address was also typed correctly.
Did you make sure the email was not dumped in the "junk" folder ?
Yes

you can renew up to 45 days early
I understood it was 30 days. Are you sure it's 45?
It depends on your designated immigration office
Check this http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/850653-early-renewal-retirement-extension/?hl=%2245+days%22

Entry into the Kingdom is subject to the discretion of the immigration officer who processes you. Better to get a tourist visa & try again.

It's aways better to renew early so you have time to deal wih any unforsen issues which may arise.

Applied on 26 AUG for my second 90 day online report at Khon Kaen (26 being the first possible day in the timeframe).
Until recently have not seen an approved email.
Just now I checked my status and it is APPROVED on Friday 28 AUG.
Receipt of notification shows 25 NOV as next due date.
I am quite sure that the email address I entered was OK.
Maybe the mail has landed in the spam folder and I have deleted it accidentally?
Anyway, saves me a detour to immigration office independent of the fact that I wanted to drive to KK tomorrow anyway
I didn't get an email notification for my seond online report either but I did for my first one. i used the same (correctly typed) email address in both cases. So as usual, It seems to depend on who processes your application as to whether you get the email notificatrion or not.

To the OP: Your "friend" is being severely rogered by this "agent"

I agree with you, Fred Kubasa. Immigration here is a disgrace and I too hope that Immigration in my homecountry let thais taste their own medicin ...
My thaiwife is so tired of Imm. that she suggest we move away - I´m considering it since its only getting worse here ...

For Kap Choeng the next report date is 90 days from the date the online report was approved (for me anyway)

Does the website work after immigration is closed? The submit button just flickered and wouldn't trasmit.
Yes, I have done 2 successful reports, one on a Sunday and one on a Saturday

Just had my second successful online 90 day report approved. My local office is Kap Choeng. Didn't get an email notification this time but did last time.

Try this one for size.....
Farang, been coming here for years, stays under a retirement extension.
Retirement extension expires on 27th August and he returns to his home country on 29th August (for 3 months).
Not a problem...... normally. BUT, if they want to put him "under consideration" he is likely buggered.
My advice is bowl over to Kap Choeng Immigration and put his situation to them. I would be interested to see if others have better advice.
NB: Can't take his wife with him as she, and their child, are in his home country!
That's a good question. I wonder what percent of the retirement extensions at Kap Choeng are put, "Under Consideration."
Since the object of this thread is to emphasize the negative (Under Consideration) I doubt if we would get a straight answer to the actual percent that are done in the normal way. Of course, I could be wrong.
So my question is has anyone received a retirement extension on the same or next day from Kap Choeng?
Kwaibah is the best person to answer that - but I am aware of some retirement extensions being done normally.
The question arises from a small town in Buriram province where the last four retirement extensions were al put under consideration.
Jip99,
can you divulge this small town's name ?

My understanding is that an O type of visa can be either marriage or retirement and based on lots of forum threads expats go back and forth between the two. I haven't done an extension of stay yet but I have read it's just checking a box under reason of extension of stay, for retirement or marriage. Certainly the documentation is a bit different for either marriage or retirement, but It sounds like they are just checking on the long term stay folks. It's actually good to see them get out of the office. I think it is healthy for them and us. If they have computerized things, such as 90 day reports, then they better show they are keeping busy.
You sound like you haven't read this thread or you don't understand the posts....
You've also sound like you have had little or no dealings with Immigration Offices within the Kingdom

Never had a problem getting the letter from a different branch of the Kasikorn or SCB.

OK, so as per your first post, have you received a password and can you now do further reports of aliens (including you) staying at your private house via the WWW? Since you don't mention it above, then I guess not....reporting of an aliens presence using the WWW has been around for a long time but only for commercial establishments, but not for private individuals....please advise.
Well spotted , although the omission of further reporting to their Imm; office and online password info was deliberate as I have yet to be advised on that and they still seem to be setting the procedure plus I think that I am something of a guinea pig . The officer involved will call at our restaurant next week with the update and concluding instructions . He also mentioned that falang should always carry their passport and I asked if a copy will suffice ? he said definitely no , ok then , how about a Thai driving licence which has the holders pp number . He said that is acceptable . I am unsure of privately owned property reporting but I will pose the question to him next week of , does the onus fall on the property owner to report that they have a falang guest ?
I think that this whole thing is either going to intensify or fade away
OK Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted with any new developments

Just tried to do the online reporting using Explorer.
My due date is 9 August arrived in Thailand November 2014.
Filled in every detail, used the search to enter my nationality ( so it is in English and Thai) completed the capatcha and got verified, clicked submit and got the pop up that for further information I should contact my local immigration.
Does the system not work after office hours, or shall I better don't waste more time and drive to the office?
Yes it does work out of office hours. I submitted my application approx 6.30am on a Saturday and received approval approx 7.50am on the next Tuesday.
Its 6.20 am and it doesnt work on Chrome, worst is firefox and best explorer, doesnt work on any of them, Firefox it freezes the cursor, chrome just flickers a bit although you can fill in the information you cant submit it and explorer you can do everything but when submitting it goes blank............great system
Your problems are more likely caused by your computer set up....can you try on another computer?

There is NOTHING at the bottom of my 'approval page'.
It's not that I have not been LOOKING.
Empty...Blank...Zero...Zilch!
Probably best to report in person then

You need to go back into the online reporting system and select "Check the status of your application".
Yous should be presented with a screen like the one in the attachment.
Enter your details and you should be able to see your application.
Select "view" and the details will be displayed.
Scroll to the bottom and you will have the option to print Your Next appointment.
That is what you need.
Just beat me to it UJ
