Thai Ranger Calls Out Italian Tourists for Damaging Coral Reefs
ravip replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Sai detailed how the tourists, suspected to be Italians, were found swimming in a closed-off area meant to let the coral reef recover after much of it died last year. The Thai park rangers were acting with patience and politeness compared to the foreigner. Rejuvenating a coral reef need more knowledge than bashing Thai people IMHO. -
Thai Ranger Calls Out Italian Tourists for Damaging Coral Reefs

OK. So you go to some country, pay some moron and do anything you wish? Unfortunately this problem is caused by the Thai people asking them for money - so give them the money and do as you wish? Lots of officials in Thailand are corrupt - SO, the people who pay them are clean and good? Great logic indeed. -
Mr. Rao retired and received a large retirement amount. He deposited ₹20 lakhs in a joint account with his wife and even shared the ATM card PIN with her. One day, he stepped out for an hour on some work and suddenly realized that he had forgotten his phone at home. He rushed back and was relieved to find it lying on the sofa. As he sat down, he asked his wife, "Did any call come?" She replied, "Yes, the bank called, asking to update the joint account details." Mr. Rao started sweating and collapsed onto the sofa in panic. "Did you give them the OTP?" he asked anxiously. His wife calmly said, "Yes, the bank manager himself called me, so I gave it to him." Mr. Rao almost fainted. He quickly checked his bank balance on his phone. The ₹20 lakhs were still there. With a sigh of relief, he asked, "What OTP did you give?" His wife innocently replied, "The OTP I got was 4042. Since it's a joint account, I gave my half of the OTP—2021." Mr. Rao felt like he had just come back to life. This is why a wife is called 'better half'.

Today, the term "the free world" has been redefined. It is not what it was meant to be, when it was coined! IMHO

The US lost an idiot. Unfortunately Thailand added one to it's pool. If caught in Singapore, one idiot less on this planet. -

Thank you a million times! NOT only Thais, ANYONE hates a snobbish moron. Many people fail to realize this. They expect the entire world to bow down to them, whilst they show their arrogance and rude behavior. In short, they hate someone who behaves just like them!!! -

Your self assessment of yourself is over the moon! With that attitude, whether riding a Harley or a Barfly, you definitely would meet disaster! I very much doubt the veracity of your post, but your high nosed attitude is disgusting.

Solutions Sought for Dealing with Unruly Tourists in Mae Hong Son
ravip replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
I have mentioned this many times. Who likes and enjoy... 1. A sweaty, bare bodied passenger on a public transport? 2. A crowd of loud mouthed passengers talking very loudly and cackling stupidly? 3. Recently I saw a foreign couple on a public transport boat, where the female was resting her feet on the seat in front of her. 4. Large bodied foreigners, both males and females walking arrogantly along the streets as if they are the owners - don't bother to move aside to let others pass - prefers to knock against the oncoming person/s. 5. Eating/drinking on the sky-trains, even with the notices. Just a few observations, I see often on the streets of Thailand. -

You mean to say, that all these Thai people, in their thousands, who we see buying food, fruits, etc at the small roadside vendors are also paying 15baht for each transaction? I've never used QR payment in TH, so I don't know. -

Thailand Cracks Down: Police to Monitor Foreign Nationals Closely
ravip replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thailand Cracks Down: Police to Monitor Foreign Nationals Closely TBH this is nothing new, or surprising! Many other countries started tightening the immigration screws long time ago, after realizing their folly of having lax immigration laws. Sad situation, but a reality.
