Actually, i noticed two rip off threads in the forum by the same author and didn't even read the original post due to it's horrific grammar and i made a comment based on the username.

Saw the big new island bridge under construction. Big money. There is not one 4 lane road through the island and the new bridge compliments the most elaborate check point building when you come on the island. Ever ask why they can't build a 4 lane road and an over pass at Central and Chalong Circle?

And for those that are counting, that is actually bridge number 3.

I have given up electronic timers in Kata. Broke due to fluxating voltage/peak voltage kicks.

All now replaced with Panasonic mechanical timers at 700 baht from Homepro and similar

The Panasonic mechanical timers can take anything.

I have 2 that sit out in the elements and get covered in gekko crap and they never missed a beat.

Choice Foods gets fresh meat every Friday from Aus.

They were situated next to the sandwich shoppe in Chalong but they have moved to Kata, near Rick & Roll's place.

Choice Foods is right on my road The Kata New Road or better know as the Market Road in Kata and is the best I have found... I use their Beef and Cheese exclusively for our Burgers and our Cali Tex Mex Tacos and the Steaks are awesome as well.

They work with and supply many Hotel Groups such as Evason, Centara and Amari. You will pay a bit more but it's worth the taste, texture and compliments! Don't give away our secret

It's still happening now.

Most incoming calls are not getting through after 1 or 2 rings and i'm getting plenty of call failed when trying to call out.

Yep, i'm getting drop outs now.

Takes around 10 tries to get a call in and out.

Thanks for reaffirming the idea of driving off from a accident.

I would never do this back home in my own country but every Thai i know always says to me, 'If you have a accident, just leave and sort it out later'

Rick is just advertising his business and he gets torn down.

There is a big market for this and it's not about the room.

Lots of young female backpackers want the experience, meet new people and not be holed up in a room in the middle of nowhere and no chance to meet others on their travels.

It's the social aspect and not the room that's important here.
