  1. You mean turn a blind eye to the fact that he is a radical Russian supremacist, who called Georgians "rodents", non-white immigrants "cockroaches" and Ukrainians by the ethnic slur "khohols", in addition to being a multiple-convicted crook (c.f. previously posted sources), so he can fit into the very narrow window the Western establishment wants to show him through? Allow me to laugh.
  2. So on what end of the political spectrum would you say Navalny tends to be, based on his numerous far right and xenophobic statements? In videos from 2007, Navalny likened militants in Chechnya to cockroaches and espoused deporting migrants, saying, "We have the right to be Russian in Russia and we will defend that right." https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN2AP1BG/
  3. You are implying the Kremlin taps ordinary Russian citizens' phones in a Stasi-type approach. There is no evidence of that at all and you are going to excessive lengths to defend your point, you are not being reasonable.
  4. Please explain why you believe Statista is not a reliable source.
  5. The most prominent source is the Levada Center, considered a foreign agent by the Russian government and approved by the West and the CFR, so hardly a vector of "Russian propaganda" as I suspect that is what you are hinting at (a couple of references below, including a Wikipedia one, which I believe is a source you like). THE CASE OF ALEXEY NAVALNY Compared to July 2021, the level of approval of Alexei Navalny’s activities has hardly changed: 14% approve, 60% disapprove, another 14% do not know Alexei Navalny or have not heard of him. https://www.levada.ru/en/2022/03/16/the-case-of-alexey-navalny/ VTsIOM became widely respected for its objectivity and professionalism among academics and journalists in both the Soviet Union and the West. In the 1990s, the agency's polls gained a reputation for being very reliable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Levada_Center
  6. Statista is a German platform which has a solid reputation in terms of reliability.
  7. Thank God those poor, misguided Russians have us Westerners to fight for their rights and freedoms! It is to laugh, honestly.
  8. There have been lots of clickbait articles about this, but in reality it does not change much for the average individual, and certainly does not forbid criticism of the vax. It is aimed at "alternative" health advisors such as Thierry Casasnovas, who claims one can cure all sorts of ailments by eating fruit and veg, amongst other things. This bill states that those who follow this type of guidance must have first clearly expressed their consent and understanding of what they are getting themselves into, failing which the "provider" can be fined and jailed.
  9. White nationalist Navalny was jailed because he was a convicted crook. A bit of context: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1201958/attitude-toward-activity-of-alexei-navalny-by-age-russia/ Most Russians in every age group did not approve of the political activity of Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader, as of February 2022.
  10. I don't have "motives" but will occasionally point out the hypocrisy and contradictions of the Western media apparatus and its followers. Again, multiple sources and statistical analyses confirm that the vast majority of Russians support Putin and will very likely give him a landslide victory in the upcoming elections. It is not up to us Westerners, with our societies failing on every metric, to decide whether it is good or not in the name of our "values". There is no "colour revolution" there against Putin, as much as our leaders would love to see it happen. The media will only ever present and spin events according to what suits a political agenda. Added bonus about the "hero" Navalny, this might give you some depth, context and insight: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/2/25/navalny-has-the-kremlin-foe-moved-on-from-his-nationalist-past In a 2007 pro-gun rights video, Navalny presents himself as a “certified nationalist” who wants to exterminate “flies and cockroaches” – while bearded Muslim men appear in cutaways. [...] Shortly before releasing the video, Navalny was kicked out of Yabloko, Russia’s oldest liberal democratic party, for his “nationalist views” and participation in the Russian March, an annual rally of thousands of far-right nationalists, monarchists and white supremacists. [...] Some protesters sported closely cropped hair and raised their hands in a Nazi salute.
  11. You clearly don't get anything and are content to remain that way.
  12. "I too would love to see a strong, free Russia. Best thing for the world. Would you join me in calling for a Putin free Russia so that it can happen?" How about minding your own business and leaving Russia to the Russians, the vast majority of which (over 80%) support their president? Vladimir Putin’s Approval Rating Remains Sky High. Here’s Why. https://globelynews.com/russia/putin-approval-rating/
  13. The claim I replied to, "The narrative was NEVER that it will stop the virus from spreading", is false.
  14. I don't know one person who didn't take the shot and regretted it.
  15. April 2021: Pfizer, Moderna vaccines stop infections in real-world study CDC report suggests shots cut transmission, not just illnesses https://www.tbsnews.net/coronavirus-chronicle/pfizer-moderna-vaccines-stop-infections-real-world-study-238285 CDC Data Suggests Vaccinated Don’t Carry, Can’t Spread Virus https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/04/cdc-data-suggests-vaccinated-dont-carry-cant-spread-virus.html
  16. Well I wouldn't expect people who have had multiple shots of the stuff to say any otherwise, that is an integral part of the problem, people just don't like admitting they were wrong.
  17. Yes, but what I was referring to when I mentioned speculation-based capitalism were the subsequent layers of financial instruments (such as the credit default swaps invented by Blythe Masters) which consist in creating money out of thin air. Debt is the root of all problems and in this respect, Putin did pretty well after taking over a country left in bad shape by Yeltsin's pro-Western policies. A reminder from 2005: Russia pays off IMF debt early On January 31, Russia ceased being one of the IMF’s five largest debtor countries when it repaid its remaining $3.33 billion debt. https://www.elibrary.imf.org/view/journals/023/0034/002/article-A004-en.xml
  18. I have provided references to four fundamental and universally recognised books on the matter, anyone is free to do their own research on them and read them to develop their knowledge and understanding. This topic is far too complex to be illustrated with single, all-encompassing quotes.
  19. I think it is this concept of one "economic world power" which is disappearing (even if the Western political and media establishment pretend it isn't), as outlined by Putin's speech at the BRICS summit last August: All of us here are proponents of a new multipolar world order with a genuine balance of interests and taking into consideration the sovereign interests of as many countries as possible, while enabling them to follow their own development models and helping them preserve their diverse national cultures and traditions. It is obvious, however, that the emergence of a new world order, which is an objective process, has its fierce opponents who are seeking to stall this process and avert the emergence of new, independent centres of development and power around the world. http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/72096
  20. Absolutely, as demonstrated by the fact that he is supported by over 80% of Russians. In January 2024, over eight out of ten percent of Russians approved of the activities of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. https://www.statista.com/statistics/896181/putin-approval-rating-russia/#:~:text=In January 2024%2C over eight, partial mobilization in the country. Putin's approval rating up to 85% in November, Russians happy with the country's direction https://www.intellinews.com/putin-s-approval-rating-up-to-85-in-november-russians-happy-with-the-country-s-direction-303876/
  21. Libya was destabilised by the US military-industrial complex, for the same reasons it has occupied and destabilised a multitude of countries and regions for decades. This article sums it up nicely. Libya: another neocon war Liberal supporters of this 'humanitarian intervention' have merely become useful idiots of the same old nefarious purposes https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/cifamerica/2011/apr/21/libya-muammar-gaddafi
  22. Production-based capitalism vs. speculation-based capitalism. The latter is at the heart of all the world's woes.
  23. It depends on whether or not you serve the interests of the Global Regime. My deep respects to Gonzalo Lira and Julian Assange.
