Well let's see, they have a serial killing dictator whose silences his critics with assassination, they declare war on neighboring countries and Putin seems to make a hobby out of killing women and children, Russians themselves are some of the most unpleasant people on earth, they have absolutely no social skills, and they don't even seem to even care about expressing any degree of politeness. Do I need to go on, I could go on all day.

Rouble trouble: Russian woman fined for assaulting pregnant Thai
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
The real question is where do they find these judges, why are they so incompetent, why are they so out of touch, and do they reach for the bottom of the barrel in the Judiciary just as they do with the police, immigration and the administration? It would certainly. Just look at big joke, Sretta and Anutin. You can't get less qualified than that. -
Darwin said that some people are more fit for this world than others, some people have the ability to thrive and prosper in this life, and some people just don't. And those that don't seem to be taken in by these scamsters who refuse to work for a living, what can one even?

Would you fight a 58yo Tyson for $100m?

I understand him doing his stupid stunts, he's getting paid, a d making a fortune from it, what I don't understand is why he has followers, why the followers are paying attention to him, and what the big deal is. There's no content, are these people just bored out of their minds, or is it possible that they just don't have a life? -
Thai woman abandons 7 year old daughter at Krabi bus terminal
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
In this day and age we are in a position to make a choice when it comes to having children, or not. Some people make wonderful parents, some people are barely fit to be parents and some people are just better off not being parents at all. It's a disservice to the children when the parents don't know anything about the art of parenting, and when they fail at that job. If you're going to have kids treat them with regard and respect or just don't do it at all. -

Always count on the wisdom of the Thai judicial system to hand out the correct penalties, and create a real deterrent. Such excellence. Such brilliant minds at work.- 130 replies

What devices are best for constant dog attacks?

Shotguns, crossbows, military grade knives in a pinch, aluminum baseball bat's, hockey sticks, and M80s. Insect spray is surprisingly effective too. -

Yes absolutely I would, and Paul has never really faced a serious boxer, so he just doesn't have much experience. I think if Mike was serious and the fight was not rigged that Paul would get knocked out. Can anyone answer why Paul has 40 million social media followers, is that the depths to which society has stooped to? Are people just bored out of their mind or what's the story? -
1. Don't crack down on the air pollution which is killing and sickening people. 2. Don't crack down on the do nothing PM. 3. Don't crack down on the local criminals. 4. Don't crack down on army, immigration, customs and RTP corruption. 5. Don't crack down on the corruption of ethically and morally bankrupt officials. Just go after the tourists and foreigners. We love hearing about it daily. It gives us a sense of security and makes us feel warm and fuzzy, and very welcome. Thanks guys. Your hospitality knows no bounds.

My girlfriend/wife is 35 years younger.......
spidermike007 replied to Carlotta's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The intellectual connection with the woman is highly overrated, usually it leads to a tremendous amount of aggravation, endless arguments and debates, and oversized egos. I'd rather be with an intelligent Thai woman who's not my intellectual equal, but is not argumentative it is not always trying to pick a fight. That's much more fun. If she's younger and prettier all the better. Life can be grand when you are not hung up on social expectations. -
I'm used to getting away with my overly entitled behavior and I'm very rarely ever called out on it. However now that I'm busted and I'm called out in a big way with national attention, I always have my period to blame, tremendous mood swings, and I just can't help myself. I turn from a angelic soul to a b**** goddess from hell overnight.

Big joke is likely one of the most corrupt officials in the entire nation, over the past decade, and it is likely that he has a billion baht or more stashed away somewhere. You cannot be deputy director of the RTP here without earning ridiculous amounts of money. So in order to defuse the situation the ridiculously corrupt and do nothing PM transfers them directly into his personal supervision. What can one say?

Your post reeks of jealousy, why are you so concerned about a guy getting with a woman much younger than him? Why the extreme judgment, what's up with that? I applaud a man who gets with a woman considerably younger than himself. Why on earth would a man want to be with a woman his own age, especially if he is in his 60s or 70s? That's what I don't understand. I get it if you're in the US or Europe, you don't have much of a choice, unless you are a centimillionaire. But here you have a choice, so why be with someone your own age? -

70 percent in new poll reject Trump presidential immunity claim
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I'm innocent, I'm always innocent, well maybe I'm guilty, but it doesn't matter I'm immune. I'm immune to anything, remember what I said about 5th Avenue, that applies to anything. I can get away with anything, so why are they even trying to charge me? I'm Donald, you can't charge Donald. -
The owner said if you speak Thai then get out!!
spidermike007 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
In all the years I've been in Thailand I've never had anybody get offended by saying hello in Thai. Perhaps her husband just died that morning, perhaps her son just got run over on his motorbike, who knows she might have been having the worst day of her life. Or is she just could have been a total disenchanted grouch. -
If this is true I would advocate that all 10 of them be put to death, and if there are any witnesses, or any type of evidence perhaps a trial shouldn't even be necessaryj. Just the death penalty carried out within the next 30 days. Bye bye boys, you messed up, you really screwed up this time, there's no coming back from an action like this, see ya!

What an absolutely bizarre story while I have no reason to question the veracity of the story it just makes one wonder why would this woman have been so offended at a foreigner who speaks Thai, and why she would be bad mouthing a patron. I know some Thai people are uncomfortable being around foreigners who speak Thai as we can understand what they're saying, and they end up getting busted from time to time! But this just a restaurant owner being offended by a patron speaking Thai. That's just incomprehensible, if it really happened, that was a very bizarre woman and moronic woman doesn't deserve any sort of support. If it were me I would go a step further and I would wage a social media campaign trying to give her a tarnished name. That is always fun, fun, fun. -
Personally, I have met very few friendly Russians. Anywhere in the world. The vast majority of Russians I have met, seem to have very, very few redeeming qualities. It is no wonder. I can only speak from my experience. Have run into alot of Russians both in the US, and on Phuket and Samui, 98% of them seem to be grumpy, unfriendly and gruff. Some of them are downright hostile. Likely a reflection of a very, very rough culture and environment. So, perhaps it is not a coincidence that the world is not standing up to support them and show them kindness? Just an observation. I do not think it is a sense of entitlement. I think it is a reflection of the current culture. It was destroyed over a century of callous and murderous leadership. Stalin, Lenin, Khruschev, now Putin. They have become somewhat savage and crude. No grace, no finesse, no courtesy. Rather uncivilized. My family was from Russia a few generations back. I used to ask my great-grandmother when she was still around, why they didn't teach us anything about the old country. She would give me this look, and tell me "the reason we never teach you about the place we came from, is because the place we came from was the most horrific country on earth, it was the most destitute, horrible, oppressive place and we were thrilled to finally get out of there and leave it behind. That's why we don't teach you about the old country, the old country doesn't exist for us. There are a multitude of reasons why very few around the world have sympathy for the Russians. Those reasons are not limited to their serial killing, despot, thieving multi billionaire dictator for life. It is more about their nature, their history as ruthless, homicidal Cossack warriors, and their total lack of manners, and class. Not to mention the dignity, class, decency, civility, and social skills decades of Leninism, Stalinism, and now Putinism has stripped them of. And of course, the utter failure of their leader. This is a clear case of psychological projection: Putin dreamt and failed to create a dollar-free world and establish Russia as an “energy superpower.” He allowed corruption to metastasize through the state’s fabric, undermining its security capabilities. With its mass emigration, skyrocketing divorce rate, and low fertility, Russia, more than the West, demonstrates an immense collapse of family and social values.
