  1. Nearly all can be downloaded on the torrent sites, you can download to your heart's content in Thailand, there are no legal issues, no FBI intrusion. 1 GB download speeds with fiber optic at a very low cost, it's a very favorable environment for downloading TV and movies.
  2. ATM's and cash exchange booths, mostly.
  3. Fortunately cash is still very plentiful, and I do believe that Thailand will resist the trend, though many people are succumbing to the cashless thing. I will resist it with all the power in my being for as long as I can.
  4. Why are some people so fond of small minded topics?
  5. Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Thammanat Prompow is likely as corrupt as the day is long, and the same could be said for top officials in virtually every department. It would be a beautiful day in Thailand if all those top officials were locked up for a very long time in the big house.

  7. I'm not sure what Emma Stone getting kinky has to do with pedo garbage, but I guess you have your preconceived notions.
  8. Not specifically, but since I'm a real man already, it's just something that comes naturally for me. Real men carry plenty of cash.
  9. Exactly, real men carry a lot of cash in their pocket. I remember stories about Jackie Gleason how he never left home without less than $2,000 or $3,000 cash and that was back in the 30s and 40s, when you could buy a restaurant that you were eating in for $2,000! The most obnoxious aspect of this contemporary trend is people using their phone app to pay for a 20 or 30 baht item, or even a 50 baht cup of coffee. I've been in line before where people are spending five minutes trying to get their app to work properly, and I've pulled out 20 or 30 baht and handed it to them and said please just pay, let us get on with our lives.
  10. Real men might do some online dating but they'll message each other a couple times and then they'll meet. For a guy to continue to become pen pals with somebody over a long period of time and then start sending them sums of money without ever even having met Is the very definition of a SIMP and a half man. Real men don't do this kind of thing. This guy deserves every bit of torture and loss he's endured. I blame alot of it on social media. And dating sites are great opportunities for scam artists. Alot of people just do not understand how corrosive, damaging, degrading and nasty social media can be. There are an infinite number of scammers, predators and fraudsters out there. Most of us have the good sense to avoid them, and not get taken in by their unwillingness to do actual work for a living. It boggles the mind, to consider the number of people who fall for these scams. Someone calls you, or contacts you online, and you send them money? Someone you have never met? Someone you have not researched? What gives? Where are the survival instincts? How is a youngster supposed to have the wisdom to know? Granted being asked to send naked pics to a stranger is a bit much. But, I am sure it happens all the time. There is little chance of these people getting apprehended. Very little. And it is a strong indication of just how bent, warped and misguided contemporary culture and society is, that someone can be considered an idol or celebrity just because they have alot of followers on Tik tok, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Personally, I consider social media to be the most corrosive and degenerate force in culture today, and they can be downright dangerous, on multiple levels.
  11. There's still a lot of very good stuff out there, right now TV seems to be better than movies, but there's a lot of independent film, and foreign film that's fantastic and there's some Hollywood film that's great. American fiction and Poor Things are two excellent examples of spectacular films that are hugely entertaining. You have to avoid the sequels and you have to avoid the amusement park garbage, the animated cartoon garbage, and the Transformer type garbage, and the Marvel garbage, that's all ridiculous nonsense without content just bloated big budget ridiculousness, once you get past that there is still a lot of good work being done. Perhaps you need to get more creative with your selections or do better research.
  12. There's much you can do to improve mental acuity as we get older. The very first place I would start is by creating your own SuperFood that you can consume every day. Start with blue green spirulina and barley green, kelp powder, spinach powder, broccoli powder, and other such superfoods, many of them are available online, and are organic powder. Blend them all together with a little apple juice and voila your brain is functioning at a higher level within a month. Do not expect your brain to continue to improve or even stay the same without feeding it.
  13. No doubt this is accurate information, the thing that people have to accept is that it's a pyramid scheme and it goes all the way to the top, so big joke, the national police chief and all the top brass are involved. It would be a spectacular outcome if somehow, some of them ended up serving time in the big house. They certainly deserve that, and it would be an especially great result if somehow those billions and billions of baht that they've parked overseas could be recovered. Of course I am only dreaming, and a result like this could never happen in the nation so riddled with corruption, that elections are routinely stolen, and the toxic filth simply becomes a way of life.
  14. This case was such a load of nonsense from the very beginning. The reality is that anyone worth over 200 million baht in Thailand is essentially above the law, when you're talking about somebody who's worth billions of dollars then it's probably an entirely different standard, they own the police, they control the judiciary, they are never prosecuted under any circumstances. So this entire case was just window dressing from the very beginning, I don't think he was ever pursued at any level.
  15. Things have changed a lot in the West, women are significantly less open than they used to be, and they are significantly more fearful than they've ever been. So the chances of hooking up with a girl casually in the West is a lot less than it used to be. I can attest to that with my many friends who are constantly trying. However in Thailand I know multiple men who are having success in approaching good looking, younger strangers, getting their phone numbers and going on dates. Women are infinitely more open in Thailand and if you have game and humor, you're decent looking, and you have a little cash, or bling, they may have an interest. I'm talking about absolute civilians, not the working types. It's all about stepping up to the plate and taking a chance, some guys have the cojones, and some guys don't. But you won't get shot down in Thailand like you will elsewhere. They may say no, or they may not be interested, but they'll be quite polite about it. Remember the big difference is in Thailand you're dealing with real women, as opposed to the West where you're dealing with beings that don't have very much connection with their innate femininity.
  16. I don't leave 20%, I don't think very many people do leave 20% here in Thailand but 20 baht to a Food Panda delivery person or to a waitress in a restaurant can make a real difference for them, and it means nothing to us. Anybody can come up with a dozen reasons to not leave a tip, it's leaving a tip that makes a difference. Are we making a mark on the world or are we just another warm body taking up space?
  17. I wasn't suggesting that, I was suggesting a date, a cup of coffee, lunch, and getting to know somebody and taking your time. This obviously doesn't apply to a transient person or to a tourist but for an expat who is living here and us patient, and is willing to court a high quality, high functioning woman, approaching a stranger can be quite effective. It does take cojones but it can be quite. A lot of these women just don't have the time, the willingness, or the patience to do the online thing. So by meeting a stranger you're able to tell immediately if you like the way they look, if there's chemistry, there are so many advantages with meeting in person over meeting online. I don't want to suggest that online dating is a cowardly approach, but it is certainly a far more timid approach, getting out there and doing it is for the strong at heart and highly confident man.
  18. Oh yeah. Pale white skin is so boring. Yikes.
  19. For many of us we don't care one iota what a stranger considers normal behavior. I've not spent my life trying to exhibit normal behavior, had I done that I would have led a life of total mediocrity. Exceptional people do not strive for normality in their lives.
  20. Walls, telephone poles, parked cars and trucks, and trees tend to be very unforgiving and should be avoided at all costs. Some people seem to have better survival skills than others. Darwin was absolutely correct.
  21. The white skin part just killed it for me, I want the dark cocoa skin, nothing like it. White, pale, ghost like skin is so ridiculously overrated.
  22. Any guy who's decent looking, has a fair amount of game and a great sense of humor can achieve a fairly good success rate with Thai civilians in malls, on the streets, at outdoor cafes, and elsewhere. I have friends that have proven this over and over again but it does require some game, one needs to be bold, and you need to get them to laugh within the first three or four minutes you're talking to them. At that point you're golden, the percent of success rate is pretty decent. You will not experience nastiness or total rejection like you do in the West.
  23. Kudos to Senator Seree Suwanpanomt for telling it like it is. Sretta is a do nothing PM, completely phony and insincere and his policies amount to nothing. The air quality issues are chief among his failures. And he was not elected.
  24. The Thai Army has always been above the law, they are way too powerful, they hold way too much sway, and they should be reigned in by whatever means possible. This eventually has to happen, better sooner rather than later.
  25. Putin is a low-life creep dictator, who oppresses his own people to the point where he is likely despised not only throughout his Nation but throughout the entire region. There are likely thousands of people who would like to take his life and punish Russia, it's no coincidence the Russia is one of the least popular nations on earth, and Russian people are some of the least popular people anywhere in the world.
