Foreigners who order spicy dishes but modify them to be not spicy.
spidermike007 replied to Everyman's topic in Thai Food
It is some of the most delicious food on the planet. My heart goes out to you, for the extreme limits of your experience. -
Absolutely spot on, and wearing a mask outdoors in areas that are not crowded was one of the most insane aspects of this narrative, along with wearing a mask on a motorcycle, wearing one in the car, and wearing one while at home with your family. What can one even say? Nonsense is NONSENSE, it doesn't matter who is spouting it or who is DIRECTING, it is still nonsense.

I don't know that I agree with shooting experts on sight, but I do agree with just about everything else you said. Questioning the narrative is something that I've been doing since I was a teenager, and I just don't know why so many billions of people fell into step like obedient sheep when it came to covid. There have been times I've brought up the possibility that the narrative is not correct with family members and they just started laughing at me and calling me a conspiracy theorist. It was almost as if it couldn't even be questioned, it was that sacred. It was definitely one of the most bizarre things I've witnessed too, and I continue to question nearly every aspect of it.

I am astonished at the number of expat friends I have and people I know, that do not like spicy at all and refuse to even make an attempt to adopt to spicy food. They order the same dish nearly every time we go out (Chicken with cashews) and they must be bored to tears with their diet. I'm very grateful that I like Thai food, I like it spicy and that is never an issue, hasn't been since I started traveling to Mexico as a teenager. -
COVID-19 infections rising, public advised to wear face masks
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thank you for boosting my argument, which specifically is about keeping the immune system strong and healthy and avoiding allowing it to get depressed. There are countless medical and scientific factors involved in maintaining a healthy immune system, many of which are under our direct control. The mainstream media, the CDC, the WHO, the FDA, and especially Big Pharma do not want us to talk about diet, nor obesity, nor lack of exercise, nor any of these external factors that play a tremendous role in keeping the immune system strong, and powerful and allow the body to fight off bacteria, microbes, viruses, flus and many other diseases. Toxicity in the body is an invitation to all of those culprits. In my opinion, a lack of a booster shot or a mask is very minor in comparison. -
To this day I see entire groups of people walking into a restaurant with their masks on, in an outdoor restaurant where there's plenty of ventilation. They sit at the table with masks on and as soon as the food arrives they remove their masks, and start passing the food around using their own spoons to get the food from the dishes. Hello! If you are afraid of catching covid, is this using good sense and reason?

COVID-19 infections rising, public advised to wear face masks

Such sillyness. From Med Park Hospital. Worth reading, for those who insist the body has no inherent ability to fight off a virus, flu, or bacterial infection. Immune system nutrient boosting to fight against Covid-19. Our immune system plays a vital role in helping us defend against the novel coronavirus during the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, people may experience nutrient deficiencies or become weakened due to adverse environmental factors such as improper diets, chemicals laden foods, increased bodily free radicals, stress, sleep deprivation, etc. Such factors can debilitate our immune system, worsen our health, and adversely affect our well-being. What happens when our immune system is weak? A weak immune system cannot effectively defend against viruses, bacteria, and free radicals. Hence, if you experience sickness, fatigue, or tiredness, these may be manifestations of a weakened immune system, which can easily lead to infection susceptibility and severe health issues. Typically, white blood cells, antibodies, lymph nodes, and internal organs contribute to our body’s immunity. Therefore, an immunocompromised person will have a high risk of infection, pneumonia, and low immunity due to a weak immune system. https://www.medparkhospital.com/en-US/lifestyles/immune-system-nutrient-boosting-to-fight-against-covid-19 -
To this day the most bizarre aspect of masking is wearing a mask outside, near the beach when there are no people around, or wearing a mask on a motorbike. I have rarely ever seen anything so silly and unscientific in my life, that is pure fear, unless they're in Bangkok and they're wearing the mask to ward off pollution, which 99% aren't.

COVID-19 infections rising, public advised to wear face masks
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is a well-known scientific and medical fact that a strong immune system can ward off any type of virus, much less covid. How am I denying covid by defying the official narrative, and discussing my immune system, diet and general health? I realize that these topics are not permissible in the mainstream media but here? Are you really trying to censor me? Do you work for Big Pharma? -
1. I don't see any link to the tik tok click so I don't know how to view this video. 2. Thailand and the police seem to make it a habit of shooting themselves in the foot, they're making this event much bigger than it actually is by blowing it out of proportion, overreacting and getting themselves in the news once again for their repressive tactics and overbearing actions. 3. Is criticism of Thailand illegal now? Is having an opinion about Thailand illegal? Is posting your opinion online illegal? It doesn't matter how we feel about the what this woman posted, in a free and open democracy opinions are just that. And draconian measures to suppress them are not beneficial optics. The fear of bad opinions and their effect is something to behold from men who represent themselves as adults and a nation that represents itself as a democracy.

China slashes visa fees: Tourists to travel to the PRC for less
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No thanks, at one point I did want to visit but I've lost interest. I just don't feel like supporting the commies, and I absolutely despise the leaders in China. Their repressive tactics are overbearing, their claims on the South China Sea are ridiculous, and by the day that nation becomes less appealing, and less interesting. No thanks. -
Although subsequent variants have shown themselves to be more virulent than previous variants, so far every subsequent variant has been weaker than the original Delta. Covid is obviously a very clever virus, and continues to figure out ways to spread, however the fatalities are dropping consistently and there's no reason for any of us to be fearful at this point. It's endemic, it's part of life and personally I'm will remain dependent on my immune system at this point, no more boosters, and no more masks for me.

COVID-19 infections rising, public advised to wear face masks
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There's a pretty huge gulf between deciding not to wear a mask and denying covid. I've never denied covid, but I stopped wearing a mask 18 months ago and I'm certainly not going to start wearing one again. Not gonna happen. I rely on my healthy immune system, good diet, exercise, state of mind, and not on constant vaccines and masking. I do not and will not live in a state of fear, despite what the authorities want. -
COVID-19 infections rising, public advised to wear face masks
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is the ones who feel the need to mask up, after 3 1/2 years of viral devolution, that are delicate and fragile. Real men depend on their own immune systems. At least at this late stage. And it is the extreme need to follow a government sponsored mandate that is bizarre. No thanks. -
Chinese Tourist Exposes Nana Area as Potential Danger for Women

She would likely get locked up for years, or have her organs harvested by the CCP franchise, back in her super paranoid, repressive, home nation run by super freak numskulls, China. -

What bad behavior? Recording a video stating her opinion is no big deal. Certainly the authorities won't like it. Stalin was intolerant of criticism too. -

Nope, done with the masking forever unless the Bubonic plague returns. I'm depending on my body's immune system, I'm not going to be cowering like little man scared of zombies, for the rest of my life.- 198 replies

Chinese Tourist Exposes Nana Area as Potential Danger for Women

Any good looking woman who's well-dressed in the Nana area is going to attract attention, what is the big deal, why is that dangerous, what is the issue? Why such shoddy and inarticulate reporting?- 111 replies
