  1. You don't like me. You don't agree with me. You are gone. I want so badly to be a dictator like my buddy Vlad.
  2. From a major Trump backer. He may not have been the guy we thought he was. Woops. The president is losing the confidence of business leaders around the globe...this is not what we voted for,” wrote Bill Ackman, billionaire head of Pershing Square, on X. “The President has an opportunity on Monday to call a time out and have the time to execute on fixing an unfair tariff system. Alternatively, we are heading for a self-induced, economic nuclear winter, and we should start hunkering down.”
  3. Nations are relocating manufacturing from China, but there are a dozen reasons they are not coming back to the US. Most of which are beyond the ability of Trump or his simple minded administration to understand. Based on a survey of North American manufacturing executives and an analysis of global trade patterns, the report reveals that more than 90% of manufacturing companies in the region have moved at least some of their production or supply chain in the past five years. Of those, half reported that they had shifted more than 20% of their manufacturing and supply chain spending. Further, owing to ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and high US tariffs, more than 90% of respondents said that they plan to make similar moves over the next five years. Thanks to their deep labor pools and growing scale and capabilities across diverse industries, Mexico, India, Southeast Asia, Turkey, and Morocco are rapidly emerging as future export powerhouses. For example, from 2018 through 2022, US goods imports declined by 10% from China in inflation-adjusted terms, but they rose by 18% from Mexico, by 44% from India, and by 65% from the ten countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). https://www.bcg.com/press/21september2023-north-american-companies-have-relocated-production-sourcing-over-past-five-years
  4. Trump raised the deficit by 7.1 trillion last time around. He spends like a drunken sailor. And Musk only my seems to be eliminating jobs that were needed. A failing grade of D minus to date.
  5. I have to admit I really don't understand tattoos on men. For me it sort of reeks of desperation and a desire to be accepted. I find that some tattoos on women are kind of sexy, but on men forget about it. It's just so overplayed at this point, so overdone, and it has a real paint by numbers feel to it.
  6. What Trump has done could precipitate nothing short of a major economic crisis. I think he's gone too far, I think he knows he's gone too far, I think his advisors know he's gone too far, but they're too cowardly to say anything, Fox News is starting to say that he's gone too far, and I think that it may be quite difficult for him to pull back from this brink. He may have set in motion a disaster of historic proportions and he could go down in history as being one of the clumsiest, most idiotic, most reckless, and most dangerous men in the history of America. I almost feel sorry for the man at this point, and that's a difficult thing for me to say, but I think the junk that's going to fall onto his ugly face is going to be a horrific thing to witness. Or a joyous thing, if you're not heavily invested in the American markets.

  8. It will be quite interesting to see how the markets react today, and to see if there is a major buy-in, or if people just leave their cash on the sidelines. I am betting on the latter. Trump would not be where he is without the deep state or a similarly sinister organization or group of very powerful people who put him in that place, and are allowing him to conduct these extremely destructive economic policies. As reckless and as poorly thought out as all this seems, I think it's actually deliberate economic sabotage. Unfortunately the average American and the average person without wealth throughout the world will end up being the victims. Tens of millions of Trump supporters will be very surprised at the end result, and it won't be a pleasant surprise. Very few people truly understand just how sinister both Trump and Musk are.
  9. As is often the case you are completely missing the point, as you are blinded by partisanship. I am simply making a point that there is some criticism being leveled toward Trump policies, at this point, from Republicans, which is a good thing. A democracy consists of open and free discussion, does it not? Typically a democracy does not forbid people from being openly critical, that happens with more of an authoritarian dictatorship, is that not the case? Please, at least make an effort to try to be truthful, objective and genuine, if you are going to reply.
  10. Very quaint for a billionaire and his billionaire friends like Musk, and his super rich cronies like Navarro and Bessner asking Americans to relax, take a deep breath and watch their Investments drop in value, while they carry on with this insanity. Trump now holds the distinction of being the only president in American history to inherit a bull market and crash it within less than 90 days. Don't worry people were taking care of you, we are really really smart men, working for the smartest man in the room, and we won't let anything bad happen to you, we assure you of that. All right if you guys are really convinced that all of this is going to work out fine, how about a personal guarantee to reimburse average Americans for money that they've lost if this doesn't work out? Oh I forgot, that would be a profile in courage wouldn't it?
  11. While the vast majority of his supporters seem to be unwilling to question him, at least Fox News is now questioning him, which is a very healthy and necessary thing. Even Fox news seems to be abondoning, or at the very least questioning highly misinformed, and spectacularly ignorant, dangerous and arrogant Goombah policies.

  14. Exactly. So what it would appear that Trump is taking advice from second-hand ghosts, or destructive spirits from the demon world. He appears to be chasing some sort of elusive shadow, and engaging in a never-ending quest for demons. It is about showing what he can get away with. It’s about showing his enemies that what they support, he can tear down. It is all about displays of brute strength. He gets off on that, and in that sense, it seems not so much an autocracy but a flexocracy. Let me show you how I can flex my bicep as I use it to power my fist coming into your face. It’s not about any coherent values. It’s not about any North Star. It’s about showing that you can turn the boat 180 degrees around and that you can do whatever you want and you can bring the people who opposed you to their knees. And then there is simply the last possibility which is very likely, and that is that he's being dictated to by the deep state and he simply a puppet being jerked around and told what to do by a group that has very sinister intentions. And the last thing in the world they are considering is the well-being of the average American, or the average person who has their money invested in American stocks, investments or bonds.
  15. I am a business owner too and I understand this, and it's called economic sabotage and it's called extreme decimation of consumer confidence. Nobody in America is buying anything right now. It's very easy for these super rich fools to ask ordinary American people to make a sacrifices isn't it? It doesn't really mean much, does it? It doesn't come across as being particularly sincere coming from someone with billions.
  16. This incident has reignited concerns about pedestrian safety and the disregard for traffic laws, That statement would be amusing if it were not tragic. It just does not seem like there's much regard for human life here, and how somebody could mow down an old man crossing the road and not stop and offer assistance is extraordinary. Also the story is a little bit confusing, are the two injured people in the hospital the drivers of the motorbikes that ran this guy over? One can only hope they will be punished severely. The real crux of this issue is the extreme lack of law enforcement, and a total unwillingness on the part of the so called police to engage in traffic safety. I guess it's a lot easier for them to set up roadblocks and collect cash than it is to engage in real law enforcement that saves lives.
  17. Herein lies the rub, Trump is not a particularly smart man but he's an absolute genius when it comes to being a huckster and using Marxist style propaganda to demonize the enemy, and convince people he is not the man that Republicans think he is. Time will bear this out, there is going to be massive disappointment and a lot of tears.
  18. Are you referring to an independent-minded Republican in the year 2025? I think there's only a few hundred of them left. Trump has taken a bomb to Independent thinking and level-headed intellectual discrimination.
  19. Yes we love his brand of control, the same brand that he used to put 17 major businesses under, and bankrupt enormous businesses that's real control. 17 of his businesses have failed in the past few decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!. Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts. There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O. And now his goal appears to be to destroy the American economy too, and perhaps take the world with it. Is he one of histories great sadists? Maybe. Or is there a diabolical plan at work?
  20. You just contradicted yourself. the claim that it's made of parts from 24 different countries is not entirely precise. While these locations may source parts from various countries, the final assembly and parts sourcing are concentrated within these four main production hubs. That is precisely what the article stated, that the truck is made from parts sourced from 24 countries.
  21. Even a Ford Ranger is made of parts from 24 different countries. Trump has absolutely zero understanding of a global ecosystem. Zero. He is a simpleton, and will have to back off, or republicans will withdraw their support, once inflation spikes at unprecedented levels. Get ready for an economic tsunami and a major recession, caused by the goombah. https://youtu.be/jLpUEACVBlE?si=xH-M84ICmSMOeFXk
  22. Now they start worrying about him? A bit late for a modicum of courage, isn't it?
  23. Very few American products are made in the US. Trump and most of his gullible supporters don't seem to understand why. They all seem to possess very little knowledge or understanding about the issue, nor have many educated themselves on the extraordinary beauty of global economic ecosystems. Even if an effort is made it would take a decade or longer to change. You can't bring back manufacturing to a nation that is not competitive. Period. It won't work and it won't happen. Nothing but hapless slogans, wishful thinking and massive economic destruction. Just like the 17 major businesses Trump destroyed, he is very busy wrecking the US economy and the world in the process.
  24. The US was already on the decline. Trump is simply making the US less relevant and diminishing it's standing throughout the world. His tariffs will either be eliminated, or the US economy will go into a very deep dive. The utter simplicity of his mind is scary. One thing is clear. He is NOT the man most Americans think they voted for, and his intentions are most foul.
  25. 1. Imposing massive tariffs on nations worldwide, and ignoring the fact that the US became the world's largest economy specifically because of very low tariffs. Duh! 2. Insulting and alienating close allies and friends. 3. Demonizing opposing political parties. 4. Taking advice from unhinged extremists, who know nothing about anything, because you think they are cute. 5. Siding with dictators who are genocidal and untrustworthy, and making them the exception to the tariffs. 6. Spending as much time as possible on the golf courses. 7. Threatening sovereign nations with a takeover. 8. Appointing neopytes with no experience and no management skills to head massive departments. 9. Pretending it is all a big success.
