  1. They sure do have an obsession with uniforms. Government officials looking like some sort of defense officials and such, with the 35 baht worth of ribbons. It is downright weird.
  2. That whole region has got to be hell on earth. Yikes.
  3. On my first day in office the war will end. Maybe even sooner. Trust me. Believe me. I am great. I will get Putin to listen to me. I am a genius. Just watch.
  4. And that is the absolute crux of the issue, and the very reason why very little overseas manufacturing will return to the US. Wages are too high. Skills are too low. And cost are insane. Trump already lost this battle. He is simply too dim to realize it. Great campaign slogan. Ridiculously far from reality.
  5. Considering the lack of consumer protections here, I seriously doubt any manufacturers would face prosecution. That is almost amusing.
  6. That is a ridiculously judgmental statement. Panda is an incredibly convenient luxury. Will be very saddened to see them go.
  7. I am continually astonished at how spectacularly dumb AI is, I'm sure they're there are advanced applications, military applications and such that are more intelligent than what I'm seeing, but everything I'm seeing is just not advanced intelligence, or artificial intelligence, but rather just plain old dumb.
  8. That defines Trump. An unhinged, very unstable numskull.
  9. You do a very good job summarizing the fact that Trump is a blazing and very, very dangerous imbecile.
  10. Well of course Trump was going to lose this trade war, that was inevitable from the beginning, declaring economic war on a nation like China is never a good idea. The reality is that he has caused such a horrific amount of damage that it might take decades to repair, if it can ever be repaired. Trump has diminished America's standing in the world by such a dramatic extent it could not possibly be overstated. The man is a one-man Wrecking Ball, a bull in a China closet, and an ignoramus to a staggering extent, and the damage that he is causing could not possibly be over stated. You can dress a clown up in a blue suit, but he's still a clown.
  11. That is the most ridiculous statement that I've heard all month. I'm in the US right now and absolutely everything has gone up, please define for me what has gone down in price. I don't see anything that's gone down in the last 6 months, since my last visit to the US every single one of my staples has gone up at least 10%, regardless of what the completely ridiculous FEDs say. That defines 20% inflation to me. The only one I know of that's claiming that prices are going down is Trump, and how do you trust the word of a lying, thieving billionaire?
  12. I'm not a CPA or a forensic accountant, so I was not analyzing this from a airline financial point of view. I was simply stating how amazing it would be to have direct flights again from Bangkok to the US, the advantages of that point cannot really be debated logically. More options are usually a good thing!
  13. Trump is definitely not a Hitler and I do not think that his intention is to slaughter millions of people though I do question what he would do with unlimited power I do not consider his intentions to be positive or noble, and I think the fact that Kennedy is doing something to benefit people is more or less an accident.
  14. Thanks. Hard to truly sum up the lower nature of this bizarre man who the people chose to lead them.
  15. When you say it wouldn't be easy what comes to mind for me is how difficult most Western women are. That would be the biggest challenge, why live with a Western woman, when you don't have to?
  16. I think quite the contrary, he and his billionaire buddies may be part of a scheme to deliberately wreck the economy, as there may be a sinister agenda at work here. And enacting all these insane tariffs without having any sort of deep understanding of global manufacturing ecosystems, and the inherent benefits of low tariffs and why they have driven economic growth in the U.S for decades now, is an astonishing thing to witness. Such spectacular ignorance at work. Disaster Don.
  17. This is a rather extraordinary day in American history when you have a Trump appointee, a guy like RFK actually trying to do something that benefits the population.
  18. Direct flights from Bangkok to Los Angeles would be amazing, and I have to believe that there would be enough demand for it if the pricing was competitive.
  19. I think you just proved my thesis, there you go again with that juvenile repetition.
  20. Most of us on this forum know by now to completely ignore @Harrisfan. He is truly the one with the syndrome, paper thin skin, and an extraordinary amount of darkness in that heart of his.
  21. Believing anything that RFK says is just being gullible and having wishful thinking, the man is a completely unhinged and a partially insane liability.
  22. Nah. He's been the exact same loser since the 1970s. He has the incapacity to improve or develop as a human being.
  23. Repeating an error is rarely a sign of intelligence or good judgment. The US economy has become the largest in the world and it has become the most dynamic for decades, due to very low tariffs being in place not the opposite. Blaming other countries for your trade deficit is something that children do, it's a very unbecoming quality from a person who represents himself as an adult.
  24. Absolutely true. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace - all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing - not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is - his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults - he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness. There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans mistake this as refreshingly upfront. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W. look smart and articulate. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws - he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: 'My God… what… have… I… created? Unappealing, unattractive, idiotic, incompetent, hateful, hurtful, abrasive, rude, blowhard, liar, cheater, thief, infantile, failure, loser, fraud, sexual abuser, incestuous, tax cheat, insurrectionist, un-American, dictator-loving dictator wannabe, out of control, sociopathic, convicted felon, toxic narcissist & brutish A-hole. Everything about the con-man referred to as Trump is unlikeable. He's everything wrong with the human animal, all stuffed into one specimen.
  25. One thing is certain. He is accomplishing very little, he will NOT bring manufacturing back to America, which is stupid over priced (I am here now and inflation is raging at 20% or higher right now), he is causing alot of pain, he is losing support, destroying businesses, and consumer confidence, he does not have a coherent plan, and he is a destructive nimwit. I don’t think he has a coherent value structure as most of us understand it. I think we’re seeing a president who’s operating without anything any of us would recognize as a conscience. Truly. It is about showing what he can get away with. It’s about showing his enemies that what they support, he can tear down. It is all about displays of brute strength. He gets off on that, and in that sense, it seems not so much an autocracy but a flexocracy. Let me show you how I can flex my bicep as I use it to power my fist coming into your face. It’s not about any coherent values. It’s not about any North Star. It’s about showing that you can turn the boat 180 degrees around and that you can do whatever you want and you can bring the people who opposed you to their knees. Trump’s idea of power. If I can destroy, if I can defile and march on relatively unscathed and unpunished, that makes me powerful. Other people can’t get away with it, but that’s how dominant and superior I am.
