I completely disagree. Even though my wife is very smart, I do not get much intellectual stimulation from the relationship. But, I get so much else. And in all of the relationships I was ever in with really smart women, who I got intellectual stimulation from, there was also so much grief to contend with. Such combative women. So much competition. Yikes. Thrilled to death to have left all of that behind. When I was only in the relationship for a year or so, I had dinner with a very sharp American friend. I asked him about that. He laughed. He said, when you feel the need for intellectual stimulation, call me. We can hook up for the meal, and break down the origins of the cosmos. Do not fret. That same brain that gives you that stimulation, also tends to give you so much grief, it is not worth it, on any level. Get over it. Enjoy all of the other qualities, that make your day so delightful and fulfilling. Great advice, that I have followed to this day. I learned long ago that a woman who can match me intellectually, also tends to be a combative woman, and the chance of harmony is low. I for one, love a harmonious house, where my woman is joyful and light hearted, with a great sense of humor, and an amazing attitude toward life, and us. Just my point of view. Whatever works for you, stick with it.

If she is a good woman, if you guys get along well, if she makes you a better version of yourself, if she makes you laugh and has your back, and gives you very few headaches, stay with her. Sex is a small part of a relationship, as we get older. Getting something on the side is no big deal, and not something you should feel guilty about. Just be very discreet and don't cause her any embarrassment or humiliation.

Request for Investigation into Monks Wearing Bras

For a foreigner without a deep understanding of the belief in the merit system of Theravada, it is hard to comprehend a family spending a million baht on an ordination ceremony for their son, who will stay at the temple for a month. Of course the teachers had no knowledge of the behavior of the students. They teach only purity and goodness. -
Thailand Still Wants to Develop a Major Spaceport
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Perhaps mastering the construction of high quality sidewalks, underground electric lines, and high speed rail would be a good place to start, before moving into space? Or patrolling the highways for safety? Is it possible some of the goons are dramatically over estimating their capabilities? -
Would you ever marry a bar girl? If so, why?
spidermike007 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Either that, or we have a different opinion, when it comes to the resilience of the human spirit, and the causes of mental health issues. I know many women in the US and here, who have had sex with at least two men a week over a period of many years. That is hundreds. I do not think they are "damaged", on any level. Maybe the idea you are looking for is impure or degraded? -
There have been very few death sentences carried within the past decade. So, why are they now discussing this, but only for foreigners? I happen to support the death sentence, when the crime is heinous, and when there are witnesses and sufficient evidence. Why keep them alive? Certain crimes are essentially a self revocation of the right to consume oxygen. But, can DNA evidence and the courts be trusted here? In fact, Thailand does allow the death penalty, but it is rarely applied. The federation said the kingdom would have achieved the status of "de facto abolitionist" had it not carried out any executions before August 24, 2019 — which would have represented 10 years after the last death sentences were carried out. https://www.dw.com/en/thailand-carries-out-first-execution-since-2009/a-44285913

Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai announce deal to form government
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I can't imagine the average Thai being happy with this. But the level of apathy we are seeing is surprising. I assumed millions would be in the streets. Goes to show you how little I know. With this coalition, more of the same. Nothing changes, no reform, no progress. Thailand continues it's backwards slide. Woe are the Thai people. A very sad result.- 80 replies

I just don't think having alot of lovers makes your abnormal or dysfunctional. On any level. At least under 500, anyway. Just my opinion. -

I knew alot of women in California and New York, who were significantly beyond that. I know some who reached three digits numbers by 20! Again, it is a number that is always underestimated. Always. -

Those are real numbers. Confirmed many times over. Men just don't like to admit they ended up with a bar girl who had 1,950 men before he came along. 10 years ago, I knew some hot women who worked in massage shops, who did 3-7 guys a day. They worked 6 days a week for 3 years. You run the numbers, even at the low end. I know a gal who worked in Singapore at a top shop. The sessions were 35 minutes. Over 10 a day, 6 days a week, for 19 months. Granted she is drop dead gorgeous, with a body that would stop traffic. She seems fairly normal now, but can't conceive a child. No wonder. -
Is it really more fun in the Philippines?
spidermike007 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Funny. Reminds me of this great quote about age. Older people are perceived as cynics and misanthropes. But, they are simply people who have at last heard the still, sad music of humanity, played by a mediocre rock band howling for fame. -

Often that is the same thing. Taking your time reveals her flaws and issues. Rushing prevents one from knowing who she is, what she is, and if she is worthy of your time and support. -
Would you ever marry a bar girl? If so, why?
spidermike007 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Well, we all seem to have a very different definition of what girlfriend is, or is not. I hear some men or women talk about being in love with someone after knowing them two weeks. All that is, is anxiety, impatience, and the intense desire to be in love. Some are more in love with the idea of being in love, than with the person they are with. I think for most of us who are emotionally healthy, the idea of taking one's time to really get to know someone, is alot more informative and desirable, than just losing oneself in the moment. I have seen countless men lose their fortunes, or at least their financial stability here, by moving too fast, assuming she is someone she definitely is not, and projecting too much onto someone they have not bothered to really get to know, and allowing the woman to push the agenda. Always push back against a timeline. Always. It is far better to lose the woman, than to unnecessarily lose your money and feel like a fool. With bar girls, freelancers or pros, the important thing is to know what you are getting into. Many of us think there is a sort of sliding scale of damage. Up to 150 men, no big deal. 150-500 men she is experienced, but will be fine. 500-1000 men is approaching the point where there might be some damage. 1000-2000 men, and there is likely to be long term bitterness towards men. 2000 men and over is (ATW) what we refer to as around the world. Little chance of being able to engage emotionally in a healthy manner, ever again. There are likely exceptions. But not many. Easily. Yes, over the course of many years? I personally know women who earn a million baht a year. I have known women who have had six boyfriends, who sent them a total of 100,000 baht per month. I also know a gal who worked in Singapore at a brothel. She was stunning. She earned 3 million baht cash, all clear, in 16 months. Took it all home. Build a gorgeous house, started a business, and is totally independent financially. To this day. That was several years ago. All good. Do not know how she relates to men at this point. And I doubt she will ever be capable of a healthy relationship, after 3,000 men or more, in my estimation. But, she did establish herself. I give her credit for that. -
Are you having the average amount of sex?

Yak, yak, yak. They have been promising more flights for years. Air Asia has been interested in using Hua Hin as a regional hub, for years now, and all they have ever gotten is neanderthal style foot dragging from the officials here. Hua Hin Airport is one of the least utilized airports in Thailand, possibly even in the world. Shame on these guys. They can do so much better. Thailand desperately needs more regional airports, especially within a few hours of Bangkok. Anything to ease congestion, and save souls from the nightmare of getting in and out of Bangkok has to be a good thing for the nation and it's people. Shame. Shame. A few years gap, we heard: “We will begin by growing the flight base at Hua Hin Airport with a focus on international destinations, and domestic travel and our numbers will take time to grow. We will get started immediately working with the town and recruit local businesses to participate in our new programs, Open to the World and LIVE-LEARN-WORK-PLAY, in Hua Hin,” Laroche said. And so? When? How? Why not? Why is this taking so many years? What is really going on here? https://www.traveldailymedia.com/several-airlines-are-keen-to-fly-to-hua-hin-thailand/

Explaining Thailand to people that have never been
spidermike007 replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Simple. Thailand is NOT a foreign country. It is a distant planet. Do not ever attempt to understand the place using common sense, nor reason. It does not apply. Some of us love that about the place. There is an air of mystery and an unfathomable element. If I wanted a place that was easy to understand and predictable, I would have stayed in boring America.- 63 replies

And this would be the worst possibly thing for the future of this nation. He is the LAST man who should be considered for the job. He has shown on countless levels how incapable he is, how in over his head he is, and how destructive his policies are. Prayuth has a habit of picking the lowest quality ministers available, and he did so with Prawit. With their lack of acumen they succeeded in destroying the once vital industry of tourism. If they were trying to sabotage the industry, they could not have done a better job. We know the army and the generals are desperate for power. Somehow, this outcome cannot be allowed to happen. It is a recipe for disaster. Total disaster.

Spanish Chef Confesses To Murdering Colombian Surgeon
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Who are these people? What kind of demented state of mind is required to murder someone, and then dismember their body? Is it likely that those of us with fairly healthy minds are simply incapable of imagining such depravity? -
They actually seems reasonable for a Triumph 400. Looks like a nice bike. Always loved them. Had a Daytona Super III back in the day. Amazing bike.
