  1. I seem to remember another thread saying that not all of the 1.5 and 2.5... cable sizes are actually that size, as differ slightly between brands.
  2. The circuit has 2 sockets and the AC on it. The first socket has a floor fan. The other socket is in the car port and is rarely used. The AC is a Mitsubishi inverter rated at 6.8 amps. I guess the 10 amp breaker is adequate. Thanks.
  3. I have removed the AC Power connection from the main incoming cable and ran a new dedicated 2.5mm circuit from the consumer unit. The only free breaker was a 10 amp and so far it hasn't tripped. Should i change it to a 20 amp?
  4. You can buy Budesonide: another steroid inhaler.
  5. To answer my own question, Base A is ready mixed white paint. Bases B-D need to be mixed before use.
  6. No. Manually spraying the throttle valve and venturi with carb cleaner will yield the best results. If the inside is dirty from standing for a long time remove the float bowl and clean it out. Replacement carbs are available on Lazada.
  7. I'm looking online for white paint, but nearly every tin is labelled Base A-D. I would like semi gloss in white interior and exterior. Is that Base A?
  8. I had a similar situation. I just used a friend's house details and ID and registered myself there. Although, it could cause a problem if you are on a marriage visa and get an immigration visit.
  9. I put a set of Deestones on a Honda Jazz a few years back. Although they were quieter and smoother than the set that I took off, they rolled and lacked grip in the corners.
  10. Actually, I forgot to add a residence certificate to the list. That only took about 30 minutes and they did not care that I had not submitted a 90 day report yet.
  11. I went into the Amphur Office 2 weeks ago and asked what I needed. They told me to come back on the 20th July with the following things: Certified copy of passport Marriage Certificate Wife's ID card Tabien Barn 4 passport size pictures Wife 1 friend (witness) 1 Pu yai baan I arrived at 9 am today. They collected my docs and interviewed my wife, then me, and finally my friend. They asked about time spent in Thailand, education, where I have worked, and how I met my wife. This was conducted in Thai, and all of the details were put onto a word document. After signing several forms, I got my yellow book at 10:30 and my ID card at 11am. Easy!
  12. Water will run down and seep between the guttering and the cement render. It may not be today, but it sure will in the future and then the kitchen will be wet. The only real solution, to ensure no leaks, is to extend the roof and put the guttering on the outside of the wall.
  13. Yes,it's a boundary wall.Moving the guttering will not make it overhang the adjoining property too much. Anyway, my neighbour is very nice and will not object if it overhangs abit.
  14. It's the standard concrete sheets about 3 foot long per piece. They only need to extend about 8 inches, then block up to it and reattach the guttering. Easy! I tell them what I want, but they don't listen. They are off today and Friday, but i call them back later to discuss this terrible work.
  15. Not paid yet, as it is not finished. But, i will tell to remove the guttering, extend the roof panels and block up to the roof sheets. Then guttering can be reattached. If they don't want to do it, they can go!
  16. Told them to remove the fiber board and block up the hole. You will need to move the guttering out! Yes, I can do it was the reply. I think they intend to render up to the fold in the guttering, but I'm sure it is going to leak!
  17. Actually, they are the best team i have had so far!!
  18. I have given them cardboard and put it down on the floor where they are working, but I cannot follow them around and watch them all of the time.
  19. I'm having some block work done and I am keeping my eye on the workers. I have told them to put cardboard on the floor to protect the tiles. However, I just noticed they stacked the concrete blocks on the floor and scratched the tiles!
  20. I agree. Also, foreigners that give a tip also add to the mentality that a higher price should be paid.
  21. Thanks. The square wave is a % duty cycle and that is what the alternator uses to determine the output charging rate. I don't really want to but a oscilloscope to diagnose this problem.
