When i return to the UK, i insure my car for a year and then cancel when i leave. The insurance company usually takes a 50 pound admin fee plus a pro rata fee for every insured day.

Loan money for a second hand car without VAT
stubuzz replied to IBIB's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Loans for second hand cars are expensive. Interest is added up front, so expect to pay at least 30% on the loan amount. Also, they will hit you up for insurance for the first year. -

Bosch SDS plus rotary hammer polarity matter?
stubuzz replied to Elkski's topic in The Electrical Forum
I am guessing it is not a genuine Bosch. There are loads of fakes for sale. -

Did you use an agent at CW or did you submit it and wait around all day? -
Legalization at Khlong Toei MRT-No appointments
stubuzz replied to stubuzz's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks. I have used the postal service before, but this time i am legalizing a passport copy and do not want to send it in the post. I am guessing all of the appointments are being taken by agents. I may give the MOFA a call and see if there are any agents in the area that i can entrust the donkey-work to. If not, i will have to go to Chaeng Watthana. -

Thanks. I will give them a call. -
I will need to get a passport copy legalized soon, but it looks like you now need to make an online appointment to submit your documents. However, there are no available times for Khlong Toi, but there are many free times at Chaeng Wattana. Is it no longer possible to just turn up? EDIT: I will be happy to leave my docs with an agent and let them deal with it if it is possible at Khlong Toei. https://qlegal.consular.go.th/customer/create

I will be visiting my wife for more than 60 days and would like to know the fee for a 90 day Non O and what are the financials needed as it does not specify the details on the website. I will apply online to the RTE London office. I could get a 60 day tourist visa and extend locally, but i would prefer not to have to go to my local office.
