could you please elaborate the reasons? I've had many TR60s in the past, with the 30d extensions; perhaps the 30d extension is an easier process on a TR60 or ? maybe its takes out any uncertainty if the Exemption of 60days is reversed close to a departure date?

is the 60d exemption opened ended, or is there some anticipated end date? might it still make any sense to obtain at TR60 +30d extension for a visit in mid 2025 ?

last week I was there, and was surprised to learn there is no souvenir shop, I wanted to buy a Immigration Vest or shirt , then IIRC there used to be a police uniforms shop near CW, but seems its now out of business, I did see an immigration patch on lazada, but no longer sold, where can I get a souvenir? or police stuff now

All that should matter is being within 2 weeks from the expiry of the stamped in date? 1) TM30 hard copy , no copies? 2) hardcopy of appt. 3) TM7 form (no passport photos needed?) (no copies?) 4) 1900 Baht or 2000 baht 5) 2 copies of passport front page with data, 2 copies of stamped in page? 6) 2 copies of original Visa? something like that ? thanks

hello, so if I'm on a 60 day TR visa, does the renewal date have anything to do with the length of use of visa? Or just the stamped in dates? if based on stamped on dates, what is the earliest I can go to CW and do the extension? I have 3 weeks left till end of stamp. apparently I should make an appointment , with a hard copy of the appt? make it for early in the morning? , and have to ask my apt manager for a hard copy of TM30 ?

the los angelas consulate took at least 2 weeks 10 working days, makes it difficult to plane how long to buy a plane ticket, really almost need to pland 6-8 weeks in advance, in case the paperwork isn't satisfactory IMO at the airport, they asked questions about my long stay being longer than my visa, I had to explain about extensions, of which I'm guessing they know little about, which wasn't really nice to be questioned on.
