Anti-vaxers getting sick with COVID? There's a shocker!

Yeah, I live in one of the richest nation in the world and the nuts not getting vaccinated are many. You can basically go into a grocery store and get a free vaccination.

I have 0 sympathy for the people getting sick here that are here in the US.. Regardless, it is back to normal here. If the anti vaccination people want to get sick it's there decision. Regardless it is back to normal here.

Are you one of the nut jobs not getting vaccinated?  Just curious!

It's certainly gotten better lately than it was before in the U.S... but...

I'd hardly call 1,000+ new COVID deaths per day and 2,000+ new COVID hospitalizations per day as "back to normal 100%"

The U.S. is steadily heading toward a world pandemic record of 1 million cumulative COVID deaths from the pandemic.

    965,575
    Total Deaths Reported

    1,052
    Current 7-Day Average*

    New Hospital Admissions

The current 7-day daily average for March 9–15, 2022, was 2,298.

It's back to normal here.  I went for my yearly checkup, and I asked my doctor about it last week. She said it was the anti vaccine people that were getting sick.

I live in a city of over 1 million with several million around me, and it is basically back to normal. I see no difference now than before it started. I have not been to the post office or airport for a while, but some one said masks were still required there.

Such boundless generosity, nobility, kindness and compassion for the people, shown by the benevolent leaders. They wake up in the morning, and the first thought that occurs to them is "what can we do to improve the lives of the people today? What can we do to make their lives better?"

While the army thinks up ways to spend billions on missiles, submarines, new fighter jets, and other ways to "protect the nation" from the imminent threats surrounding it, the people are scrambling to make ends meet. It is all likely by design.

I just read the submarines they are buying do not come with engines.. lol  Chinese subs designed around german power plants. And Germany has put a halt to that.

While people arguing here on useless conspiracy theory about insurance not paying for quarantine, I got some answers from a facegroup group where a few people confirmed that the insurance did pay for their quarantine.  People will buy useless insurance without checking what it covers or not and then come here to argue that I was tested 24 hours ago negative why it is positive now. It does not work  this way in the real world. You buy an insurance that Thai government recommends for Thai pass and they will pay if government mandates expensive hospital quarantine. There is no conspiracy involves and insurance companies will be on guard to protect their financial interest.  The risk of being tested positive remains the same if there is a pre flight RT-PCR test or not. All RT-PCR test are a roadblock but at least one less is better than one more and in the right direction. Kudos for removing the pre-flight RT-PCR test. Keep it up Thailand don't listen to what desperate people who can't find their brides in their home land and have to take refuge in a foreign land to live off of their "wife visa" and voice their frustration in this forum.

Dumbest post I have read in a while. I flew into South America on a proof of being vaccinated (nothing else). Virus was out of control there. It has since gone down like a rock. It spiked after Christmas now back down.

Also coming back to the US after 6 months traveling in SA and Mexico all I had to do was get a test 24 hours before I left. Cost me 24 dollars at a Mexican clinic in Merida. I was in line for 10 minutes paid 24 bucks then had my results e-mailed to me.

Thailand is kinda the joke of any serious traveler that has the funds to travel... haha

One more thing, there were no restrictions what so ever, partying all night and still the virus dropped like a rock.

As some on here have stated ' It is up to Thailand to decide as and when they lift restrictions '

Quite true. and it is also ' up to the traveller where he or she decide to visit and spend their money and not be railroaded into a system that suits a military government.'

We are not in toy-town and we are not their little soldiers to be ordered up and down.

Well said.  Thailand's tourist hay day is over plain and simple.

It's good to hear about any easing of the entry process.

BUT, the PCR test before arrival in Thailand is not the main problem.

The post-arrival tests need to be scrapped if they want tourist numbers to recover.

Most tourists will not travel to a country which tests you on arrival, with the chance of being hospitalised for most of your holiday at great expense.

Those brown envelopes from the insurance companies, hospitals and  banks trump anything that would actually help.
