Chiangmai isnt exactly Nakon nowhere but yes it is far safer than Pattaya and it isnt exactly boring.. we can even walk the streets without fear or being hassled by ladyboys and prostitutes.
That doesn't sound like much fun.:) -
Troll post and replies trashed
Lots more to go.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out who are the crooks in Pattaya and who are legit business people.
The bent ones are all still in business lol (I'm talking about bars).

Nope, never said it did.
But I reckon she had a tiny idea that her husband was not the fine upstanding member of the Pattaya community that he made out to be.
That's my ten penny worth.

Agreed, she must have known something.

She is tattooed as well. In a photo of her wearing a bikini and looking lovingly at her husband part of her
"Tramp stamp" is visible.

Does that make her a bad person?

Crikey if you think a hiso Thai girl knocks around with some tattoo'd bellend and mouthy idiots in Pattaya you have low expectations of what it takes to become high society.
Have to agree there, the amount of times I sat in my old bar or on Walking St bars watching the Louis Vuitton brigade strutting around.
I'm not impressed.

Not ridiculing your post at all but that handbag in the picture is a fake.
Louis Vuitton wouldn't have their emblem and logo with rivets for the handles through it. Nor would it be sewn through on the seams or corners.
How could you possibly know that?

Must admit I was wondering if any of the names would have been familiar.

His late mother left him good money. He used it well, bought property in Thailand + a restaurant. He was involved later in Boiling Room misery; that was a huge mistake. He was doing well without that income anyway.
Looking at the FB profiles it looks like the greed took over.

Guess this explains why the Fishermans out by the lake is shut - shame as it was a nice curry there.
Thought the name sounded familiar.

i think its about how and where you made your money if your rich.
i know many people here in Thailand who drive luxury cars they have never had any problems. i also know 2 guys a ozzy and a German who used to build houses and condos im surprised neither of those two got hit the strokes they used to pull on people. luck of the draw who you rip off i suppose.
I think I know who you are referring to, I'm surprised also.

thanks - the 1972 has always been a 1.6L engine although called 1300:
Engine Type : O4 1585 cc | 96.7 cu in. | 1.6 L.

But in Europe we got 2 models: the VW 1302 (1300cc carb) and the VW 1302S (1600cc carb). S for "Sport" or "Special" or "Superior" or whatever it could mean for the happy purchaser...
Different markets different specs I suppose...
in 1973 the 1300 had a 1300 engine (1285).

On Kenway's FaceBook a friend asked how much he wanted for it. He replied 13. Doesn't the tariffs on luxury cars double the price?
Not sure what its worth, I was guessing, his Audi was up for sale for 6.9 million so I guessed that the Porsche was around 6 million although your probably closer with 13.

not really surprised about the events. The number of cars mentioned in other posts and now these further details. "Web design" websites don't make the amounts of money to support the lifestyle the man was apparently leading. Booking and gambling are bad and dangerous enough, but to do that in a very unregulated and wild wild west country such as Thailand, well, things ran their course.
Agreed,

Has the Acorn place gone also?
How long ago as there was an offer for them to take over my old place (for nothing) which I passed on thinking it wouldn't last.

With her, they are doing quite a few new and "pop" type tunes. It actually works out great as she's an amazing vocalist.
Good stuff.
Definitely need some new stuff thrown in, different styles etc.
Reminds me of the good old days. and the disagreements etc.
Thank god thats over.
