    To get a 60 day Thai Tourist visa in Aussie you need to prove finance and have accommodation booked for the whole time Easier to get visa exempt + 30 day extension once there

This argument of "can get better" only applies if the 800k baht is all you have Parking 800k baht at 1% interest to get a retirement visa is hardly wealth threatening Better than giving away 40k baht for something you can easily do yourself

    40k agent fee on 800k baht is 5%, hard to earn. I'm happy to get the 1% Krungsi pay me for the 800k while my other investments earn my income (until recently bank accounts in Aussie were only giving 0.3-0.4%)

    I use DTAC but always start with "I don't want tourist sim" Last Sim was 395 baht per month for unlimited internet at 20mbps. 250 minutes free calls

    This is what I dont understand, people are apparently too poor to put 800k baht in a bank account but are happy to pay 30-40k baht to do something they could easily do themselves for free I'd rather spend the 30-40k baht on me (or my latest gf)

    US$80,000/year, but no less than USD$40,000/year in the past two years or before retirement, applicants must have a Master's degree or above in science and technology, or special expertise relevant to the job assignment in Thailand. Wahoo, lucky I have a Masters of Engineering, not going back to work though ????

    Why bounce, just get a 60 day covid extension (emergency decree just extended to 30 Sep so covid extension likely to apply for applications up to 25 Sep)

    Personally I've always felt the 3 steak houses off soi Dianna to be too expensive. Not that they are, just so much different to Thai prices I come to thailand 2 months at a time, to spend those prices makes me think I might as well do that in Aus
