I wore the mask diligently for four months throughout the hot and humid Mar-May. It even got to the stage I would give the evil stare to falang who either wore it under their nose, over their chin or on their sweaty elbow... 5 weeks back in the freedom of Aussie I've vowed never to be made to wear a mask outside again...pretty simple

Was this ever a thing? I just spent 4 months in Pattaya and only 7-11 restricted alcohol sales between 2-5pm, everything else was no problem Edit: oh wait, Hooters went all in. I turned up at 1 pm for lunch and they told me to come back at 5 if I wanted a beer (so they didn't bother with the 11-2pm)

"However, an exact date for easing of the mask mandate has NOT been announced and is NOT set in stone as July 1st, notes the CCSA" Ok, that's me still out then

Australian Term Deposits.
aussiexpat replied to NONG CHOK's topic in Australia & Oceania Topics and Events
The 100 point test is required which can be passport (50) and birth certificate (50). Most people do drivers licence (60) and Medicare card (40) which you said you don't have. I just opened a term deposit online with ING which gives me 2.75% on maturity after 12 months (6 months is 1.9%). Westpac gives 2.25% and Great Southern gives 2.1% Most other banks are giving peanuts (i don't look at judo and rabobank, might be good but never heard of them) -
Moving from Australia to Thailand

The old thread from @DrJack54 was useful, 'Seven Seas Worldwide' looks very good for Oz to Bkk shipping (googled and still current) What I really like is you get your own 'MoveCube' for your stuff (small, medium or large). This is small that suits me -
Thailand looks at easing visa rules in bid to boost tourism
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
I'm definitely a tourist as I don't live there, dont pay tax there, don't even own a vehicle there. Why can't I be a tourist 75 days at a time like they propose -
^forget my post above, 95% of this thread is already about growing anyway lol The only places I see mentioned to buy are Candyland on soi bukhao and one post mentioned Kiwi Bar and Southern Coffee in Jomtien. Is that it, no where else to openly buy in Pattaya? Note: is Kiwi Bar the Kiwi and Wombat Bar on soi 9?
