I have 30x30 in the bathrooms so would want bigger than that. Probably 50x50

I currently have 12 year old vinyl floorboards in a 100sqm condo in central Pattaya and would like to change to tiles. I'd greatly appreciate if anyone can advise of a good installer and/or what the expected cost to install the tiles (charged by sqm?) My friend just had his 15sqm balcony re-tiled for 50k baht which sounds excessive to me and would put my cost over 300k? Thanks for any assistance

Or try something different to start off your day as you enjoy their smile when you give them 20 baht for taking you all the way from soi 9 jomtien to terminal 21, which they will do for 10 baht (pre-covid 20 baht was the cost as you had to switch bus at 2nd road)

Wondering why anyone needs a sound proof condo which is unrealistic unless you want to spends hundreds of thousands of baht on sound proofing This reminds me people bought at back of condo block overlooking open beer bars that would blast loud music at night...they then all wanted free double glazing windows to stop the noise, even though they decided to buy those condo facing the music....condo committee thankfully said no so we didn't have to pay for their mistake (like people buying near an airport and asking for compensation for plane noise)

It seems this a perfect match for Thailand "up to you" 10 baht minimum but up to you if you're happy to give 15-20 baht instead ????

Baht bus from Jomtien used to stop at start of 2nd road for 10 baht and you'd have to get another to go to central This year the jomtien baht bus seem to just keep going down 2nd road. I've paid 10 baht, no problem, sometimes I give them 20 just because I'm happy they didn't dump me off

I think no noise condo's is wishful thinking anywhere in the World, not just in Pattaya. I have an apartment in Aus, last renter upstairs never made a sound, latest renter seems to have a hobby that involves hammering many hours of the day at random I live in Urban Condo (12 years old) and can say I've never heard any noise from any condo around me. Not sure of this is due to owners being absent or good walls

Jomtien Immigration - holy <deleted>, busier than pre-Covid 3 years ago!
aussiexpat replied to pontious's topic in Pattaya
You seem to have quite a lot of opinions about what race should attend immigration at the same time as you (as per the OP). Also you now think everyone over 50 and dared to be retired in Pattaya are penny pinching retirees? Sounds like karma sorted out your immigration visit lol -

It's purely because of the two holiday weekends in a row. I was there last Wednesday, not too busy at all -
Walking St Discos closed before 2am today - what's the go?

If 2am closure was set in stone none of what you say would apply. Just feel blessed if they happen to stay open longer -
As I said, there is no Super Rich in Pattaya

One night should be enough to just get the TM30 lodged -

You must bring the signed TM30 form with you if staying at GF's room. If owner signs you need copy of chanote, if GF signs as possessor you need copy of lease. Note: TM30 is 2 pages and full copy of form can be downloaded from the pinned thread "Immigration Templates" above (3rd post) If you stay at hotel TM30 should be in immigration computer so nothing to bring although some people say to ask for hotel printout/screenshot of TM30 submission. In either case, you may be fined 600 baht fine for not submitting TM30 within 24 hours of arrival (but you still have to have one submitted as above to get the 30 day extension so fine doesn't fix the problem) Me, I'd stay at a hotel to avoid bringing your GF or her landlord into it and then no need for them signing TM30 and no copies of chanote or lease agreement -

TM30 seems to be your main problem. As I'm the owner of my condo I fill out the house master/owner/Possessor section and the visitor section with the exact same details. As your GF rents her place you're staying, she may be able to fill in the first housemaster/possessor section and you'll need her signature and copies of her lease. You are also likely to be fined 600 baht if you did not apply for a TM30 within 24 hours of arrival (tourists staying at hotel don't need to as hotel does it). Maybe you should stay hotel Sunday/Monday night to get them do a TM30 -
As far as I know there is no Super Rich in pattaya

I walk beach road, back 2nd road most mornings. Today I saw TT A$ at 23.80, 23.70, 23.35 and finally 23.30. Damini on Soi 13/2 was 23.35. So worth looking around in the morning as TT seems to have a delay in setting their daily rate between locations

You walk away from 200 baht for an hour massage, wow, you make them work hard for their money lol I actually thought all the 150/200 shops gave extras which is why so cheap? Guess not. I pay 350 for a good massage on corner of soi 15 and soi bukhao (about 20m down soi 15, before rib shack).

@HammerMan any chance on doing shorter runs during off days to Sumui? I personally don't like Samui but would love a ferry from Pattaya to Koh Chang. Would use it regularly actually instead of the 5-6 hour drive

I don't understand why any closing time is a problem. Just adjust your starting time to whatever the closing time is to get a full night out -
Thanks for all the comments, I will get Juristic on Monday to ask them why they didn't clean outside (I know why as too scared to climb, but I should at least get a discount if they don't do) Edit: Juristic just confirmed they're coming back Monday to clean the 4 outside units (included in the 2000 already paid) Thanks guys ????

I had one aircon that wasn't cold. They said gas was fine and changed some cylinder thingy. Works perfect now (if they did re-gas I would have just paid it none the wiser)

I replaced my 4 with a generic brand from the electrical shop in Tukom basement. They've all worked well (I think was 300 baht each)
