  1. Elsie, That would be a "Mary". You are a Mary if you can not come to the a pissup because your wife says no, or you have to go home at 9pm because you have to get back to the wife (or GF), you have to leave the afternoon pub crawl because you have to get home to have dinner with the wife (or GF), etc, etc. In the States we would call that person PW'ed (pussy whipped). :D

Cheers, rocket. Should of called that a Raro. :o

  2. This annoys the <deleted> outa me also. Now sponsor ads turn up on every page in the form of "reply". As one of upstanding members of the community :o showed me, where the OP is seeking advice on how to protect his assets in case his wife divorces him - and Thai Love Links ad (or whatever it's called) pops up right after his post. It does look like someone is taking the piss. I would prefer the ads to have their own areas, not in between discussions. :D

  3. I just spoke to Axel's secretary. She told me that, he never appeared to have problem with his health before. Even though May 6th was Sunday, he came to work. When he went home, he told his wife he was tired and would go to bed early. Around 9PM, he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.

Before going into surgery, he was still conscious. He said his left foot was feeling numb, but the right one was painful. He went into surgery around 3AM, and never regained consciousness.

He passed away around 7PM that day.

The doctor found blood clot within one of his feet. Found something wrong with his kidneys and found a tumour in his lungs.

I have his address now and will print all the messages and send them to his wife. If you wish to send a personal message via me, please feel free.

(Apologies to Mrs Muehleisen if I got some info wrong here)

  4. I've received the news from a great friend that one of TV long standing members, Axel, passed away about three weeks ago.

Due to bad telephone line and language barrier, we still don't know a lot of details, except that he collasped in his home on Sunday night (May 6th - which was the day he was last online) and was brought to Bumrungrad hospital.

Axel was an intelligent, and valuable contributor to Thailand related forums.

My deepest condolences to his family.

RIP, Axel. You will be missed.
