  1. Seems the Lost freeTV series broadcasts 2:30pm in English on Thai ch7 got lost? Have not seen a Lost show over the past couple of weeks, since Songkran timeframe. A shame as it was nice to see a decent program an hour a day on the tube. My attitude on all other shows on freeThaiTV ch 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, is crap to say the least. Still wishing for the satellite dish, or cable someday, so I can view more interesting stuff with the plug in drug. No Worries.

  2. Any cars there ?? :):D

Yep! Besides the sexy babes strutting about race course, there was some finely tuned steel vehicles too. Personal favorites seen racing at SaKaeo were; Porsche GT3, several Mitsubishi EVOs, Subaru Impreza, Mazda RX-7 & RX-8, BMW E30 & E36, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra & Altis cars; also Chevy Colorado, Ford Ranger & BT50 trucks. Here is a hot pic I got of an EVO VIII blowing in flames down the straight away. Looking towards more race atmosphere encounters 12,13 Sep at Bira and 28,29 on BangSaen beach.

  3. Before attaining my legit Thai drivers license, kept 200thb in my cars ash tray. Got stopped 5 times in 2 years, all for driving in the rh lane on double lane highways (rh lane supposedly used for passing only?). Handed police an expired Michigan drivers license with the 200thb folded underneath and just smiled. All 5 occasions policed handed me my foreign license back and waved me to go on. Now a days with the Thai license, twice had it taken away by policeman, then had to go to police station, wait about 4 hours and pay fine of 500 thb for same. ???

  4. :) Awesome weather and racing at WatthaNanakon, SaKaeo 1,2,3 May 2009. Three Crowns Super Cars Thailand 2009 Rounds 1&2 involved racing of Bikes, Production & Modified 1500cc, Junior 2000cc, Super 2000cc (Pro+AM), Commonrail Pick-up Trucks & Super Cars unlimited competitions.

During events, snapped some pics of the superb built up engines, fine bodywork, stunning suspensions, nice framework and exquisite chassis seen around pits, paddock and race track. Some choice pics attached. :D

  5. ~ Week 12: Lost season 3 episodes were broadcast on Thailand ch7 in English language this past mon-fri 2:30-3:30. Also Sat night 10:30 movie on ch7 was in Engliash language; The Pacifier. I like my free Thia antenna TV when some programs broadcast English languge shows.

~ AL thks for sharing the free tv link. No time to use though for me, as I access this forum at i-net cafes, do not own a computer. In future I will try to download some Lost episodes onto dvd disks to see if I can watch on dvd player.

  6. Thailand race fans, 2009 Super Cars (Bikes & Trucks) racing schedule:

    Round 1&2 – May 2-3, 2009 – SaKaeo, Squadron 206 Watthananakhon .

    Round 3&4 – July 11-12, 2009 – TBD .

    Round 5&6 – September 12-13, 2009 – BIRA Circuit, Pattaya .

    Round 7&8 – November 28-29, 2009 – Bangsaen Beach Speed festival .

Roomer has it rounds 3&4 to be somewhere in Korat streets this year.

    Feeling the need for speed.

  7. Week 11: Lost in the English language was broadcast via ch7 Thailand this past Mon, Wed & Thur 2:30-3:30 pm. Mon & Thur aired two season 3 episods in sequence, the Wed broadcast was from season 1. Will have to see what is broadcast next week on free Thai tv (via the old antenna thing) as this falung is a bum, and does not have home computer, satellite, cable tv type accessibilities. No Worries.

  8. On child custody subject; check out a very well put together and interesting reader submission on stickmanweekly.com ; readers' submissions #17 3/11/2008-present ; " Child Custody in Thai Family Court by Phil Ross " , story related to custody laws in Thailand, Thai bureaucracy, Thai pride, money expenses, lawers; though with determination this falung won 100% custody within the Thai courts. Congrads!

  9. Anyone know time and days serial drama Lost series will be shown on Thailand TV. I watched Lost on Monday in English 2:30 – 3:30 pm on ch7. Amazed that they had an English option broadcast. A thai tv advert that I did not understand, seemed to say mon through fri ? or maybe mon and fri 2:30 ? Is this true? Did not see Lost broadcast on Tues. Do not have cable, satellite, home web, etc; though would enjoy watching an hour/day of English on the tube, especially the interesting flashback and flashforward supernatural events taking place on the Lost experience. Reminds me of old Twilight Zone days.
