  1. Some  points, the laos, malays, burmese and khmer numbers are worthless

as they might drive over the border 1-3x+/month for shopping (or in the case of malays F#@king)

i would assume they are counting not just tourist visas BUT visa exempt stamps

NON L-A visa holders (those Burmese, khmers, laos) would not be counted as they have work permits

sad numbers with april 50% less

I have an iPad and I use the Amazon Kindle App. So I select a book on Amazon, and it downloads onto my App. It works perfectly, and the great thing is that I can travel around the world and still access every book I’ve ever bought. In the past even a few books would increase the weight of your suitcase substantially. And of course you have all the other functions of the iPad available to you.

i just think this is preferable to a kindle reader.

I'll second this, I had a kindle ages ago and when it died, brought a 7" tablet and that is what i use now all the time with the kindle reader app,  I get 2 sims, wifi, apps and more, so why limit ursleve to the kindle?

Also use Calibre to convert books to mobi and have never had any problems.

    90 day reporting by post.

My retirement extension was issued in Phuket.  I am currently at my girlfriend's home in Nongkhai. I came here before the lockdown in Phuket.  i did not report my local address in Nongkhai to Immigration.  Local officials and police know I am here.

Can I send my 90 day reporting documents by post from Nongkhai and have my copy of the TM47 be sent to Phuket where I live.

PS: I cannot do my 90 day report online.

why cant you submit it online?

I just submitted my  Khmer gf's 90 day report online ( she is on a L-A non O visa) this morning an it was accepted an is now pending

you can do it 15 days before right up to the day its due.

no reason to wait till later..

    Decree or not

Well, if every district is locked down then every local can use their own beach, I don't think the virus can spread via the sea water from one beach to another...., or the fish... ! lol, but you never know, I'm sure they find a way for that too....

It's true there are more restriction, but I wonder if they forgot about the signs on the beaches, then again they might change the signs tomorrow, but I was looking for an official announcement,  not many of our rocket scientists deductions on the forum... !

I always thought closing the beach was wrong, they could have just said use the beach and swim but keep to two adults and their children and no groups or parties allowed...

But knowing certain mindless idiots it would have been hard to control this...! Swimming and walking on the beach is as healthy on saving lives than locked up in a room 24/7...

I agree; why not open the beach? ur locked into ur subdistrict so it cant spread and less change catching it on the beach or in the water than in the supermarket or 7/11

    But who am I   LOL

  5. https://thethaiger.com/coronavirus/phuket-officially-announces-restricted-travel-between-districts-from-april-13

Phuket prepares to close off every district on April 13, for 14 days. Phuket officials have already ordered the closure of more than 6 sub-districts includes Patong, Kathu, Rawai, Karon, Kata and Pla Klok Districts.

Pakpong Thawiphat, the Phuket Governor has given a live interview on MCOT, explaining in-depth that Phuket will close all the remaining sub-districts from April 13 for 14 days. He stressed that it is not a new curfew as people will still be able to travel within their own district.

The Phuket Communicable Disease Committee have also agreed that the remaining sub-districts should be shut down and all 17 districts will have a screening point along roads into their areas.
