I've been a GV user for a long time. You could never sign up from overseas. Only USA people need apply. But, with a VPN, and maybe a new google acct, it can still be done.

I'm pretty sure the chariots of the gods stuff has long been debunked. I read it when it came out too and at the time was impressed, but being slightly more knowledgeable now I see it as a book of fiction. There are no aliens here. I read a lot of sci-fi in my youth. The foundation series(9 books?) was one of my favorites, and the main 3 books were read multiple times. Ringworld is coming too, another favorite series. Intelligent sci-fi. Not like most of the Marvel crap.

I prefer season 2 over season 1. Probably because I'm reading the book again. Watching it weekly gives time to read along as the season progresses. They've changed it quite a bit, but the core ideas are still there.
