My posts in this thread were about getting to Bangkok from Pattaya using the bus and train. Going to the airport I almost always use a taxi.

No traffic in Bangkok when you're on the train. Duh.

It gets most of the releases before the torrent sites. You get a larger selection of sources with a wider range of resolutions. The screenshot associated with each shows whether subtitles are included. If there's a bad release like unsynced sound they will have the repack with the issues fixed and the early faulty releases will be purged. In those countries that may inflict legal issues with torrents, there are none here. I've been using it for years and only use torrents for older stuff. And it's .net, not .com. The .com is a snapshot of the .net site that is 6 months or more old.

For the video you want to download, there will be a few sources like rapidgator, nitroflare, or dropa. Click your favorite and you can dl it from there. Dropa is easiest IMO as you just need to input the 4 digit code and can download. Dropa has a limit of about 2gb so you won't get 4k videos there.

Current stuff from scene dash rls dot net. Select the dropa source for free downloads just by entering 4 digits.

5 minutes of traffic instead of 90 minutes is a great advantage.
-
It doesn't avoid all the traffic. It makes the amount of time you are in traffic the absolute minimum amount. Until they get a Star Trek like transporter, this is the best way I've found.

The money has nothing to do with it. Anything is better than sitting in Bangkok traffic so I'll do everything I can to minimize that. The bus ride, train, then bolt is the least stressful means of getting to somewhere in Bangkok.

Funny, I was a software engineer working almost exclusively on “big iron“ machines like solaris, hpux, multics, etc. All Unix machines. This was for companies like HP, Cisco, and Qualcomm. I'm pretty sure we got a lot of real work done. Reminds me of an anology I give when someone insults me by calling me an IT guy. I tell them IT guys are like the guys in the gas station that fill up your tank, ask if they can check the oil or the air in the tires, or wash your windows. I design Formula 1 race cars. Sounds like you were an IT guy.

I take the airport bus all the time when I'm going to actual Bangkok. Bus to the airport then train to Bangkok then bolt to my destination. Much better than taking a taxi direct to Bangkok and sitting in all that traffic.

I thought bestiality was illegal. Maybe not in Scotland.

Hahaha. You believe the marketing BS in the ads?

Watched The Burial last night. Kept my attention all the way through. Based on true events. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5648882

Too many words. Your post should have been: “For the life of me, I can't figure out WHY anyone would use Windows“

So let me look at this from a different perspective. As this is for a build project, do you really need it all here at once? If you have a cheap way of transferring the cash, bring it over as needed, or maybe 100k AU$ at a time when you've spent the previous 100k.. Much less risk in Thailand doing it this way.

Cheaper to hire someone to help you move than buy a gate. And the daily walk up a flight of stairs to your new room may help with your fitness.

Gasping For Air: Thai Passengers React to Engine Mishap

Hey, that's from one of the twilight zones with Shatner. That will be the back of his head, a couple of years before he was in Star Trek. -
I see you know nothing about statistics. Maybe 75% of all road deaths in Thailand are on scooters. You don't say what percentage of miles driven are on scooters and what percentage is in cars. Your assessment is therefore useless.

No. Please don't send him to that one. I use it.

You own or rent/lease? If you rent/lease, move to a higher floor. I don't understand why anyone would want to live in a ground floor unit.
