  1. I did a lot of fly fishing back in California. Unfortunately all of my gear is still there. I hear Pilot 111 is a good venue to toss a fly but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Kaeng Krajan and Srinakarin reservoirs may be good places to start if you're after wild fish. Have you got your gear with you?

  2. Hi I am looking for some road races similar to USAC Cat 5 level. Either one day races or criterium races would be great. Is there anything like that here in Thailand? If anyone know about this type of thing please let me know. Thanks.

  3. Asking a "big tough Harley Rider" is like trying to explain to loserlazer that 2+2 is actually 4. They're just gonna start shouting obscenities and try to act tough when deep down we all know they are crying like little girls because their brain hurts. It's pointless. It's like buying a Harley or trying to convince the world that your bar girl wife is actually a sweet innocent virgin. C'mon guys, we should really give the guy a break I mean i cant imagine what it must have like riding the short yellow bus or having an alcoholic father delivering daily beatings.

Hmm really so every guy who rides a Harley is a thug? Interesting. I did not know that the make of the bike directly influences ones IQ. I wonder what a guy who rides a BMW's flaw is.

Your logic is incorrect. It's not that buying a Harley makes you dumb. Its that you must be dumb first to consider buy a Harley. So really ones IQ influences their choice of purchase and not the other way around.

Hmm so what your saying is that if anyone buys a bike that you personaly don't like they must be dumb. And I thought you were here to debate. Good luck with that attitude in life sir I hope it gets you really far!

And saying people who ride Harleys are drunken tough guys. You seem to want to be the biggest E-Thug on the forum wink.png

    *personally

And I thought you knew how to spell.

  4. Question to the OP now that this thread has been derailed x100. Did you simply go out and ask if they would be a bit more quite? Or were you just lying in bed wishing they would turn off their bikes? Communication is always a 2 way street. If they don't know your there how can they give you the respect you need. /shrug I would have just asked politely.

  6. Sounds like typical Harley Fag/Hell's Angels piece o' shit white trash scum. Why don't you all go drive your underpowered, steel scrap mobiles of a cliff and make the world a better place. Not sure why anyone would want to join an "outlaw club" full of homos who dress like pirates anyway.

As opposed to the guy who needs to dress up in skin tight matching leathers (Village People alert!), corporate advertising boots and lids (assuming those same helmets don't have some 'badass' skull and crossbones or a replica racer graphics), squeak up on to their overpowered, overgraphiced (exactly how much of your super swift bike can you use?) bike and then circle jerk about how fast they rode?

Not that I would imply somebody on a 'NInja' 650 would fall into that category or use an avatar of him missing an apex badlywhistling.gif

Not making any sense. Those leathers, boots and helmets are for protection from the ground. Harley guys don't have much to protect so that's understandable why you would need to be educated on the matter. As for missing the apex, not sure what you are on about. I didn't realize it was an animated gif that showed my line through the turn. Go back to sitting in a pub with all your fat bearded retard friends on outdated technology talking about how your hooker wives keep stealing from you.

I do not have any harley and i do not like one either but bikers are bikers whatever they are riding. But your post?

it is easy to talk in the forum. If you have guts, give us an address or name and let's talk face to face somewhere suitable?

But, guys like you just talk, right?

And, talking about the wives of the others this way? C'mon, we are waiting you outside, just a name, huh?

Do harley guys gang raped you or someone you like before or something man? Did you like it? it looks like you liked it you know.whistling.gif Because you are scratching you ass now again.biggrin.png

And, others here disrespecting someone due to the brad of their bikes, shame on you guys especially a guy riding a 250 cc ninja shitty bike disrespecting others on their harleys? Do not make me laugh man hahacheesy.gif

Ask your wife. She has my address.

I'm sorry you are a sad little man who has reading comprehesion issues. So I will go backwards through your post (maybe you are dyslexic and this will help?) answering your assumptions. While the majority of my friends ARE fat (same me thumbsup.gif) not a single one of them is bearded. The rice monkey comment...let me do a quick mental poll...nope all my mate's wives have professions. Pubs? Only when we go on rides; the rest of the time we are working. Oh, and nobody in any group I hang with has a chopper.

Trust me, your avatar is as plain as the picture posted below that you missed the apex...doesn't need to be animated.

It's also a FAIL on your part that you were unable to understand I was mocking the style of gear; not the gear choice itself...but I suppose being able to read past a primary level would be a requirement for an uptake of information that is not spelled out with little pictures to go along with it.

Yes of course, the oldest profession.

  10. Planning on doing a ride to Petchabun this weekend. I'm sure at least a few have done this trip on here. Any ideas on the route? I was thinking either:

    Option 1

Asian HWY to 11 to 113 to 21

    Option 2

    Hwy 1 to Hwy 21

Option 2 looks like a better choice as far as I can tell. Just want to have the best scenery and the least traffic. I've done the Asian HWY to Chiang Mai and it was fuc_king boring but never rode the 21. All input is welcome.

    Thanks

  11. Any one interested in riding out to Bang Saen Speed Fest this Saturday? A group of us are leaving BKK at 9am. We will head down to Bang Saen for the 11:30am superbike races then some lunch and back to BKK for Bike Fest at Central World. If you're up for it let me know. The more the merrier.

  12. I actually run 2x types of tyre on my bike, I have a soft compound diablo on the front and the BT23 on the rear, this combo works extremely well for me, Tyres actually have oil in their compound and can make for a very slippery surface if not given the chance to wash away

Always a good idea to run different manufactuers and mix compounds ...especially between sport touring and sport compounds cowboy.gif

cheesy.gif Finally someone giving some useful advice.

  13. I'm not saying that leathers will save you from a head on collision with a big rig. I'm just saying that I would prefer to wear gear when I ride. Not every crash means 200kmh into a wall. More than likely you're gonna low side or have to drop it to avoid a collision and that's when gear will save you, i.e. sliding down the road. But to each his own. I hear skin grafts are a lot of fun. crazy.gif

  14. I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of riding everybody on here does. Touring, track days, long trips, short trips? Basically why did you buy a bike and what do you use it for. Let's see what kind of distances you ride or where you have been.

Total for me this year will be 15000km. Almost all touring, with the occasional track day. Day trips around 4-500km, weekend trips 600-1000km, pretty much just use the bike to explore places I've never been. My goal is to ride through every province in Thailand. Map shows in red all provinces visited by the end of this year. I'm sure there are more than a few of you with more places than that so let's see it.

  15. Thought to have a quick blast out of town for the long weekend. Turned out to be a pretty good ride so I thought I'd share a few pics.

So the plan was to take off Saturday morning and catch Phetkasem Road/Hwy 4 our to 323 and then hit a few side roads once we got there.

Let me recommend to anyone taking a trip this way. Avoid Phetkasem like the plague!!!! Worst way to start a ride, deadlock traffic out to Western Outer Ring Road. After that pretty much smooth sailing and once we hit 323 couldn't have been any better. Stopped off at the hotel in Kanjanaburi to drop off our bags and grab some lunch then had a quick blast up to Nam Tok Sai Yok and back to town before eating some dinner and having a few drinks.

Had a bit of a navigational hiccup at the start of day 2 but not much of a problem, we were soon back on our way around Kanjanaburi province.

All in all a great trip. Now looking forward to the next one in Chiang Mai.

    Ride safe.

  16. And what to do there?how many km?

It is about 150km to the town of Kanjanaburi, plus whatever side routes we decide to take. Then once in Kanjaburi, there are caves, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, dams, forests. Just about anything you would want to see in the wilderness. I will be staying the night so was planning to do a bit of hiking or maybe float in the river for a bit. And one must always remember the compulsory beers in the evening.
