Gay sportsbike riders club, I wonder how many on here are members

Don't know the answer to that one, but I do know that they are built for being gay, having to bend over to ride those toys all day.

...says the man with rainbow streamers and a sissy bar.

Sissy bar for the wife, no problem.

Now if they have tassles off the handle bars or themself with a earing you can bet they will be gay. Saying that I think most ER riders are gay so theres another gay sports group for you.

So he lets you call him the wife does he??

    Nice try.

One sport bike club vs. all Harley Clubs being for fags.

I could be mistaken but with all those ass less leather chaps I would have thought there were a lot more gays riding "hogs". But i could be wrong.

Funny how the village people in the picture arent even riding a HD, I dont see any leather on the guy riding the HD,

As well if you do a quick search, not that you need to as you would know yourself you like to suk the sav, but there are many sport bike groups for you and your friend to join that cater to your fetish  .

If by fetish you mean wearing proper gear, then ok I'll admit it it I'm into the leather. But if you mean wearing a tight vest and a patch that shows you and all your butt buddies are into the same weird shit then no, I leave that to you cruiser boys. Cuz we all know how you like to "party" at the clubhouse.

  3. Who needs rain gear? I just waterproof all my gear, camera, phone, etc. and hit the road. Its warm enough here and you'll be dry 20 min after it stops raining, at any reasonable speed.

Did you ever have a smell at yourself after doing that? At least BKK rain is horrible and clothes smells like s**t after.

Did you ever smell yourself after riding in full gear anytime in Thailand? First thing I do after any ride is take a shower and put some clean clothes on. Not sure why you would walk around in what you rode in all day. But hey, whatever floats your boat. :bah:

  4. Date an educated woman who has enough intelligence to think about her actions and enough respect to act on those thoughts...

Exactly!!! If you wouldn't scrape the bottom of the barrel back home why would you do it here. Don't expect a poor village girl from issan to understand or even care how you feel. They are in it for one thing and it ain't your good looks.

  5. Central Rama 3 has 200ml cans of some Japanese brand for around 500 baht and Fast corner had a bigger can of really good stuff that i got for 650 baht. Cant remember the brand name though but it is the low fling formula and sticks to the chain like glue. no issues at all with the stuff coming off and ending up on the tire/paint etc.

i gave up looking for the sonax chain oil and went with what was readily available.

    2011 Versys has arrived! cool.gif

How does it handle with the triples so low? i was thinking about doing that so I could put clip-ons on my 650r but was worried about making it too twitchy. Also I noticed in the last picture you have them below the top triple. Which one did you do first and what was better?

  7. If you mean measure the freq of the airbox while the bike is stationary and engine running, i think its plausible since it will still hit the same rpms without being loaded to a spinning tire. I think the best indication would be the difference in how fast the tach climbs with various port lengths and enclosure volumes.

My bike is climbing faster than it use to. the 7k-8k vibrating is still there upon acceleration, but when you get there it stops now. I think the barfing duck drone when the snorkel is completely removed is do to turbulant air biting the edges of the airbox cover, so in this case i think 2 inches would probably be the shortest you could get away with, but worried the inside part of the port is going to be too short since i already tried flipping it backwards and didn't work. I'll take one for the team and see what happens though, a new snorkel is cheap enough.

ehh cams, living in an apartment sucks, i'll be at the mercy of somchai. I'd have to calculate the new shim heights and somchai aint open to suggestions.:ermm: . Tell the truth though, the current mods are almost enough to keep me happy for another couple of months, just need a little tiny bit more. Probably try a lighter timing chain to shave some weight off the valvetrain, figure i can cut almost half the weight off there, then there might be enough power for the bike to handle a 2.85 sprocket ratio compared to 2.93 giving me around 155 kph. Titanium valves sound tasty.

Why not just sell it and get an NSR SP or a TZM? Double the horsepower and its a 2-stroke so super cheap. Throw a tuned pipe on it, skim the head, and a few other goodies and you'll still probably have money left over from the sale of the CBR150. My 1996 TZM did 155km/h stock and I weigh 95kg. 2 smokes are the way to go dude.

  8. a friend of mine offered to set up an irrigation system for his wife's family farm and teach them how to use it that way they didnt have to just "wait for raining" as they say. the only thing they had to do was pay him back over 5 years. they looked at him at thought he was crazy. "why work hard when we can send our daughters to the big city to fund our whiskey habit." people in issan are poor and have hard lives, but maybe if they weren't such lazy drunks they'd have better lives. im not saying all people in issan because i know some very hard workers from issan that came from nothing. but now they have something and it wasnt cuz they got drunk all day with their hand out for money.

  9. Not a bad vid.

Done that sort of riding many times in LOS.

Not easy to find riders with the similar set of riding skills.

More like not easy to find anyone dumb enough to do.... oh wait....what was i thinking?

I agree with smedly and Garry, keep it to the track in LOS if you wanna live till next year. Even riding safely there are enough crazy drivers out there to get you killed.

  10. I'm sure Tony will pipe in with some good routes to go on around Bangkok. As KRS1 suggests, if you can get your butt up to Northern Thailand: Chinag Mai & Chiang Rai, you'll never want to go back :)

That is next on my trip list. Just would like to have more than a weekend to ride around there, so for now its day trips or the 2 day weekend ride. Thinking maybe Dec-Jan for the North. Would really like to do the Mae Hong Son loop. I heard it's amazing.

  11. So I'm looking to find some twisties within an hour or so (150km) from Bangkok. Anybody got any ideas? I am looking to do a Chiang Mai trip in the near future but would like something to kinda hold me over until then. Just got back from Khon Kaen ride last weekend but didn't really get to explore the back roads.
