  1. She should have refused to pay and asked to go to the station. Then she would've known if it was real or not. You should never pay a fine here without been issued with a ticket...They always stop the scam if you stand up to them and show no fear.. .

Or she has to pay more people. The shop owner the arresting policeman, the desk policeman and maybe any policeman that is in the station at the time. Best to pay up and be gone the more involved it gets the more expensive it gets

This is also a possibility. When you play 'call my bluff' the bluff can actually be even more expensive!

  2. Dirty nonce, hope the BIB give him a good shoeing and send him on his way!!

    extrajudicial beatings are wrong.

pedos or anyone else. Weird thing is it is usially the pervert sexpats that point the finger, offer no compassion and shout cut his gonads off.

These poeople are sick , treat them with the same compassion you would your sick grandmother.

Chemical castration could be one answer(, though I'd rather ship the perverts to somewhere they could hurt no one). And to the grandmother-part, your sick ol' grandma doesn't (hopefully) inflict life long trauma to the children in her care, now does she? facepalm.gif
Castrate and ship who - the pedos or the sexpats?

Just like get my kicks from putting down sex addicts in Pattaya etc , they feel better about themselves by putting down someone more depraved than themselves.

Human nature. Similarly, you feel a little but mi2re secure with yourself trying to belittle me.

Well one group (paedos) are unnatural freaks unworthy of respect, while the other group are just males (over) indulging themselves.

    Show some guts!

  3. Did u know the original thais came from china from the dai tribe in yunnan china and they conquered the various ppl and tribes in the south east asian region and those darker skinned ppl eventually took up thai culture and customs and names and became thaiized. Same thing with the ppl in issan but it occured later.

Possibly. Also there was some admixture from India. Yet the original Thai were darker until the more advanced paler Asian tribes came along...

  4. Off-topic posts and replies removed.

A minor error may have been made in an earlier post about Hong Kong. I believe that the New Territories were under a 99 year lease, but that the British had Hong Kong Island in perpetuity.

Pretty much what happened was the Brits did indeed have most of the islands signed over forever to Britain. The mainland part and a few more islands was the later addition (the 99 year part) that caused the thing to unravel.

Unfortunately in or about 1980 I think the governor of HK treacherously negotiated the complete handover of everything lock, stock and barrel!

Maggie went along with it and of course the Chicoms rulers tried to justify it as being a forced handover (back in the 1800s). Not that they could talk, given their own horrendous track record. Plus we'd made the territory into a financial powerhouse.

So Britain roared for the Falklands but not for Hong Kong.

  5. may it is confessed to my area though i would like to read your observations.

Well, if their boss is a soft touch, they'll take liberties.

If you don't mess around and show them who is boss they'll be less likely to slack off and mess around.

If their boss is a farang then you'd better be at the top of your game or you'll end up with a horde of locusts taking everything.

  6. I saw on television the perfect job that offers one month UK and one month Thailand including free flight tickets. You only have to carry some extra packages that you are not allowed to open. Some lucky guys even manage to make 4 trips before they lose the job but they got a free stay in Thailand for many years as a bonus.

Yeah I think W. Fellows was one of their main employees!

  7. Max, for the past ten years I've taken nothing more than the passport and a written note of the flight details (flight number, itinery number, dates and times). Never used a printer once for flight details in recent memory.

No need for even an A4 printed page. Gone are the days of getting your printed tickets in the post I'm afraid. Like a lot of things they are moving to a paperless concept with it all.

  8. Economically, I understand Farang mentality: Shared wealth = divided wealth.

It doesn't really make them happy though, and that's why they come to Thailand.

There's an idea for the measurement of happiness beyond economics, it's called Social Indicators.

Eg. shared money maybe less money for each person. But isn't it much more fun to spend it together?

You cannot eat money anyway, it's only a promise on a banknote. You can eat food, and in Thailand food grows on trees or in fields.

You share your bed with your lady. Isn't it nicer than being on your own?

If you think you rather keep yourself to yourself, then why are you so urgently after Thai girls?

    Pray tell.

Sometimes it's better to be on your own and have your space. When you have the need you take care for it with her, that way you aren't beholden to her all the time. ;)

  9. None.

But I'm not 70, I'm younger than that.

My gf is older than 25, but as she keeps herself in a good shape, and to many Farangs she looks like a jail-bait teenie bopper. Probably because at her age 'some lousy' Farang women are already half way gone.

So, from a static point of view we are closer than you think.

I've corrected that little comment you made ;)

  10. Nearly all the mixed-race girls I've known have cultural disconnect issues, are needy and a bit mental. LOL. Maybe yours isn't as unstable but YMMV

Now the Thai Chinese girl I turned down a relationship with (it was for the best) was a better catch. If I really wanted a long-term relationship I had the opportunity but don't require to be in LoS long-term and leaving Europe behind.

  11. Oil and Gas industry?

    Stock Market Broker?

Property Owner letting out housing in the UK / Thailand?

You aren't going to have an income from a job in Thailand typically to cover a 'back and forth' lifestyle. Once or twice a year maybe and that's it. Unless you are on a high-paying job / income like the three I've mentioned above.

  12. The significant problem are folk who swing both ways and receive and relay HIV to their hetrosexual partners.

Female to male is less likely, but if she's on her period you are in the danger zone big time.

Remember, before it was AIDs it was GRID or ARID! The PC mongers changed the designation to AIDS though to sooth the scorched nerves of the you-know-whos.

Anyway, glove-up, be careful and you should be ok. If you do the homo-thing then be double careful with your contraceptives.

There was a guy a while back who caught HIV off a university student of all people. He was a young kid, seemed a decent lad. He met her one night at a nightclub in central Bangkok. They did the deed, she was on her period, he didn't use a condom.

Anyway, the next few days he had a really bad sore throat and fever I think. He got tested, and tested and tested. All three tests turned up positive!

That's when he came on the forum and told us all about it. He was on the retrovirals and does ok, but he has to keep taking them or the T-Count drops off.

That's a story for you anyway OP.

I personally get tested just for peace of mind every 6 months, and that's with wearing a condom all the time!!! :)

  13. I am 76 with a 25 year old. Been together for 3 years now. Lay it on the table when you first meet them. I told her that she gets hers after I am gone. This is in my will. She gets so much a month now part of which goes to the parents. Despite our age we get along great. She is a good person no smoking drinking or partying. Movie lover like me.

Classic Pre-Baby Boomer attitude right there. I hope you feel proud of yourself as you throw your legacy down the drain, I know that your ancestors are probably ready to kick some ass when they get hold of ya' ;)

  14. I'm one to talk but why are we men so much in need to marry a girl (woman)?

I understand that women look for a commitment but as those of us who are on a VISA retirement extension, does it make sense?

Guys --- ask yourself the question if you are 75 and she is 40 years old, does she "really" love you or is she looking for a quick cash-in once you kick the bucket?

We men are our own worst enemy as we don't think with our brains.

And so what should they do? Just hire a live in maid and when they die the pension stops and the Government keeps it? At least they get a girl that acts like they care or is a companion for them and after they die somebody gets the pension benefit __-Screw the Gov.

That is a good question worth answering. If they've no farang descendants then I think the pension benefit is worthy to be passed on and shard with their TGF / TW.

If there's a lump sum though then I think it's wrong to deny that to their own kids and relatives struggling back in Europe. To do otherwise is disrespectful and dishonorable to their blood kin.

  15. Advise him to go back to UK and be among his love one in his own country.

Go back to the UK and freeze to death on his own in a bedsit would be more likely.

The UK is not a nice place for the elderly.

If you haven't got your own house in order by the time you are elderly then more fool you.
