  1. Oeps, I think we might have a problem here....

Coz I also appointed myself the leader of the red-shirts, and I just ordered them to burn their red shirts (or wash them really warm so they turn pink), and I issued the order to "Make Love, Not War".

Whoever is not obeying my order will be shot :D

So now there is no need for red shirt army anymore, and I don't have to be leader anymore, and I go home and Make Love, Not War :)

    Problem solved....

If only, it would be so easy :D

  2. The boys in brown now can just wait outside any pharmacy, and upon signal from the pharmacist make the arrest for a couple of valiums.

How can it be that it is illegal to have them in your possession, but legal to buy?????

There are so many more harmful drugs sold by pharmacies, just over the counter. This is not a matter of TIT, but more of TIFT :)

Good Luck to the kiwi guy!!! I am on his side :D

Thailand just lost another tourist :D

  3. What about all the 7-11 and other mini-markets at gasstations???

Thailand is great in making up new laws. but has no power and reliable (enough) police to enforce most of the new laws. They can not even enforce the 'old' laws....

PS how much tax money does the government make on alcohol????? I am sure they don't want to miss out on that.....

    CHEERS :)

  4. Very sad and hard to understand!!!

    1. Good divers use a SMB (Surface Marker Buoy)

    2. If they were diving with a reputable dive company, they are registered with name and details. How do we know they are Russian, but yet un-identified? Strange....

    3. Russian divers are NOT well known for their security mindset and listening to advice from experienced dive-professionals.

    4. Speedboats (and longtails) are one of the greatest dangers to divers in Thailand, especially with Thai drivers. I know cases that they AIM for SMBs. But you know how it goes: they are Thai and you are just a farang!

Again, it can happen to anyone! So sad for these 2 guys and their families!

  5. Unbelievable! A Black Panther in Thailand!

Where can this poor kitten go?!? I hope (s)he finds his (her?) way back to the peaceful mountain and live in peace... Maybe Burma???

For the panther's sake, I hope they don't see him again (meaning he is safe!)

I am on your side, Big Cat :) Run, and don't stop!

  6. My question to those who work here or run a business:

    a. Being that it seems to me thailand every year has some political event / something disruptive that causes concern about stability issues, would it be fair to say to always be prepared and not think to far ahead?

    b. Do you feel thailand is still a good place to work or do business here?

    c. Regarding your business or place you work did you manage to get through last year ok or did your business or place you work lose money?

    d. How do you feel about this year prospects, same as last year, good, better, worse?

    e. What challenges have you been facing so far

I ask these questions as I work here and run a business and am just curious to hear about your personal experiences so far.

    A. It is almost impossible to plan, due to the ever-changing rules and laws (for farang!)

    B. NO

    C. Loose a lot of Money, due to world recession and stupid (Thai) behaviour

    D. Last year was already bad enough; let's hope it will be better....

  7. Apart from the fact that these tuktuk drivers are plain Mafia and over-charge all the time, a deal is a deal!

I am sure we all have our experiences where we are charged way too much by tuktuks, taxis and other transport for a destination that was around the corner (IF we only had known :D ) That happens in unfamiliar places.... BUT not only in Thailand :)

Fighting over 50 THB is never worth it :D

  8. It is better to be homeless in Thailand than in Sweden :) , I guess...

LOS is nice and warm, alcohol is cheap (go for the Lao Kaow) and the police is very friendly (according to them!) I doubt if the Swedish embassy pay for tickets; normally they will not!!!

So, they will probably stay a bit longer in Thailand (but not in Phuket!)

  9. Bringing heroine to Thailand does not make much sense... I am sure the supply lines here are pretty good organized, and of course they never catch the really big fish. 700 gr is a lot for one person (I guess) but I am sure it is not enough to 'feed' all the junkies in BKK for even 1 day!!!

Typical a case of 'som nam na'. May they learn their lessons in BKK Hilton (and get some better contacts :) )

  10. The whole world knows where Takky is. With the amount of money he has, he can do whatever he wants. IF he really wants to disappear, he can have extensive plastic surgery and not even his mom will recognize him!!!

The best way never to hear from him again, is NOT writing about him. No more publicity from newspapers and TV will shut him up once and forever. He is like a movie-star, even bad publicity is publicity!

  11. Guard falling asleep? OK, TIT... happens all the time.

Then the baby hippo climbs out of the bathtub, towels himself dry, checks for some food which the guard did not eat, takes a sip or 2 from the Lao Khao (he is a THAI hippo), and sneaks off in to the night. Of course without making any noise, and equally of course, he knows the best way to escape from the zoo... I guess he has a stroll through the zoo to find his mama before that?!?

Maybe the poor hippo has been eaten by some other zoo inhabitants....

My thoughts are with the baby hippo...
