  1. Oooooh, you poor Tuktuk driverssick.gif Making only 1000-4000 THB per day, and dare to complain sick.gif

Not sure if it is true, but probably all of these mafia characters started as an illegal driver, and now they are 'legal' and start to complain. I have nothing than contempt for these guys!!!

In my bad days (when I stayed in Phuket)(biggest mistake of my life) I never ever took a tuktuk... I rather walk for hours!

Phuket without tuktuks and tourists must be a paradisewink.png

  2. So the logical conclusion should be: "make smoking illegal"

No, no, NO! You're going backwards. There's enough laws already telling us "do this", "do that", "don't do this". Make EVERYTHING I or anyone else wants to use LEGAL. I'm an adult. I like to make my own decisions. Good or bad.

EDIT ... I'm a non smoker by the way.

You are righttongue.png My personal point of view is to make ALL drugs legal (worldwide!) wink.png

It is completely up to the individual whether or not he/she takes them. With all the money saved (prisons, courts, lawyers, mafia), the government could even tax the drugs in a normal way and give proper education about drugs. Very good way to get rid of the drug-dealing criminals!

Wishful thinking, but not likely to happensad.png

  3. making her one of the youngest mothers in the country.

Please don't tell me there is a younger one somewhere?

There have been many. The youngest was 5. She conceived at 4. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_youngest_birth_mothers

    Pretty interesting list!

Interesting mostly for which the countries were involved; it shows a lot of poorer, less-developed countries and then the USA jumps in. As usual, the champion of hypocrite behavior....

Makes you think if the USA is really developed whistling.gif

  4. Smoking cigarettes is the deadliest and most dangerous DRUG there is!!!

It kills more people than any other drug... Probably more than all other drugs combined, including alcohol.

So the logical conclusion should be: "make smoking illegal"

I know it is never going to happen because every government makes so much money from the tax on cigarettes and alcohol; countries would go bankrupt without it!

    PS I am (still) a smoker whistling.gif

  5. Well done, Simon43, I doubt there will be many replies to this topic for the obvious reason, but it is a classic example of an internal reluctance to rock the establishment boat even when with the increased used of the internet and social media the 'sheeple' can gain more from overseas that they ever could at home. As for a 'cyber unit' sending out 13,00+ messages a day on ANY subject - words fail me!

Very scary! Imagine that there are more of these 'cyber units'.... Just think about the 'social' power that could (and would) represent....

    Truly scary, for any country....
