Thai billionaire’s fortune plummets: Freelance girlfriend accused of fraud, theft
I remember reading that you don't pay a prostitute for sex. You pay them to go away afterwards and this seems to be what he wanted.

Three Held For Selling Pistol To Teen Suspect In Mall Shooting
They're OK for a quick killing, Saturday night special or whatever ... quite common in countries where it's hard to get a real gun.

Is Thai wife's consent required when foreigner buys a condo in his own name and with his own money?
Relatively harmless attitude in that kind of universe.

Modest drinker, no p4p, 60k month. Where can my friend afford live?
Agreed, but it mostly is. It's an industry. The product is clear. And it is generally boring and predictable.

MY experiences have been different - just observing the wildlife that's all.

Maybe he hasn't lost his sex drive. He might have just lost the drive to waste his time and money on the boring, predictable third rate experience most farangs get caught up in. .

Weakening baht boosts Thailand’s exports and tourism
I'm surprised anyone even reads the rubbish. A TAT pronouncement is one I never click on. As for the faltering baht: it takes months for that to feed through the 'system' and have any effect. But it immediately makes imports, which are required to produce the exports, more expensive. When that accumulates with high oil prices a weaker currency becomes a liability because it also makes exports more expensive. A tourist doesn't care about a couple of baht more or less exchange rates when a holiday is planned well in advance. They're more concerned about the currently ridiculous airfares and hyper inflationary hotel prices in LOS nowadays. So it only really affects expats. (Obviously I'm ignoring the effects of long term contracts and hedging, and using general principles. But they also mitigate - as is their purpose - any fluctuations. So like I said, it takes a while to filter through, and baht weakness is still a relatively new development - only 8 months ago it stood at 32.65 after tumbling briefly about a year ago. I know that because a year ago I was getting generally abysmal rates. I remember those dreamy days 20 years ago when I got over 50 to the euro. Nowadays I dream of 45 and pray for 40. Sadly 39 seems to be resistance level ???? ... but I keep coming back, ... see?)

House makes history, removes McCarthy as Speaker
Unfortunately it's far more than an embarrassment although it is obviously that as well. It's actually another very worrying symptom of frightful decay.

Sad. I thought this was a Bob Smith production.

Colonoscopy: St. Louis, MedPark or Bangkok Hospital?
Your experience is your experience. I always thought you were in Joe's league. Sadly missed.

Colonoscopy: St. Louis, MedPark or Bangkok Hospital?
Sounds like Solzhenitzyn's Cancer Ward. I had noticed that you disappeared from sight for a few years and still don't post often so thanks for the detailed answer - I think you used to be active on visa matters? I hope it's all over now. All the best.

Colonoscopy: St. Louis, MedPark or Bangkok Hospital?
Thanks for such an exhaustive explanation ???? My question was just on the off chance I'd be in country when it's time for the next one. Thanks. (I've had the procedure twice in Germany. Done excellently by specialists. Free of charge - aside from my monthly health contributions.)

Diabetes
Right. As I've understood it there's plenty of the stuff around normally. It just can't transport the sugar into the cells, resulting in high blood sugar levels. Metformin reduces the cell resistance and the insulin can do its job.

Diabetes
Living the last 5 or 10 without feet or eyes would kinda shrink your quality of life pal. All 'cos you didn't want to go to the doctor and ask someone whose job and career it is to treat people like you (and me) every day for decades. Course you could always try Google, or Qanon. But that doesn't appeal to me. I prefer people who know what they're talking about and have years of experience and practice.

Colonoscopy: St. Louis, MedPark or Bangkok Hospital?
My first time I tried without sedation (12 years ago). The doctor got as far as the first bend before it became unbearable. We started over after I got sedated 555. It was the Michael Jackson drug, propofol. KO'd me like a hammer; euphoric, foolish and dozy for a couple of hours or so after waking less than 30 minutes later.

Colonoscopy: St. Louis, MedPark or Bangkok Hospital?
Is there any reason one should avoid government hospitals for this particular check-up?

Homeless destitute
But it's also to do with the types of racist violence you see in the west. It's easier to beat up on easily identifiable vulnerable minorities, than actually face off against the establishment where the abuse that affects your own life comes from. Kick an immigrant or someone racially identifiable, but never even argue with your 'betters', much less kick them. Those types don't have the spine for that. Gays get it as well. And Jews wearing their little caps. Just easy targets for losercowards to dump bad feelings.
