  1. Tell me, have you ridden over here?

Why a nearly 400 kg bike?!

    Chris

I ride alot, in fact i have been on the rode for the last week. On my back from ChaAm to Khon Kaen right now. I had two heavy bikes before, a 1600 and a 1700 Yamaha Roadstar and I miss them. FOR THE MOMENT i am on a 2015 Yamaha Bolt 950cc, but riding it for the last 8 month makes me miss the heavy bike more and more.

  2. Out of the 3, I'd keep the Isuzu.

It do make sense for sure, have been very happy with the MU7 so far, only 82000 km on the clock and new set of Michelin wheels.

I bought the MU7 for 1.275.000 THB, if selling to day I will have about 600.000 THB so I will loose a lot of money. Same goes if I buy anther new car after a few years.

Guess I just run the MU7 for a few more years and get the most out of it.

  3. First of all, the heading is wrong and I can not edit. This is about HONDA HRV.... Not the CRV.

Are you happy with your Honda HR V?
Thinking a bit on and switch car, when my 4 year old Izusu MU7 is a bit big for us who are only 2 people (90% of the time).
Honda HRV is more suitable size for us, so is Nissan X-Trail, but it costs about 400,000 THB more;-(
I think they both are pretty, but is X-trail worth 400,000 THB more?
Security is also very important for both of us, so it will have a major impact on which car we eventual purchase.
What would you selected, and why? What about second hand value?
  4. I use and can recommend the dentist facing the main post office in the centre of Khon Kaen.

With you back to the PO, cross the road and turn right towards the traffic lights.

The dentists clinic is way before the lights.

    Are they expensive?

  5. A friend of my wife is living in Pattaya and have a daughter, and want to renew English passport to daughter. Child's father died four years ago (English).

She speaks very little English, and has even less computer skills.

What I want to know, can she get help to go through this application to renew the passport for her daughter? Is there anyone who runs a paid service like this in Pattaya?

Would have been nice if you could attach the phone number and address (map).

  6. Hi dagling,

Allianz is a very well-known company but their premium is very high compared to what others are offering. You can try getting a free quote from us : http://goo.gl/jqvE4x

Important for me that the company is recognized and that when I submit proof of insurance, that they initiate treatment immediately and NOT to pay in advance and ask for a refund, and not lie for hours and wait for a confirmation the basis of insurance that I am insured I prior to treatment.

    Can you guarantee this?

  7. Looks fantastic, be nice to see with the upgrades. Seriously considering purchasing one, not a Harley fan but just something about this bike that grabs me. Expensive luxury but the amount of fun to be had is worth the indulgence. Trust you are still excited with your toy. Hope you enjoy for many miles of riding.

and Mustang Seat, saddel bags etc...

  8. I am confused by all insurance companies, and people I talk to about which company I should choose due to service and coverage. Want tips from people who have good insurance, no tips on brokers who all want to make money ;-)

I have a budget between 2500 to 4000 baht per month which should be enough for me who is 48 years old.

I started a thread here a few days ago "ACS / Allianz any good?" Where I also ask about BUPA. Both negative responses.

Is it so that one becomes acutely ill or have an accident in which one is not conscious or is not clear and present one proof of insurance, they are NOT initiates treatment immediately and must wait for the insurance company?

Can add that I like Norwegian, also get covered up 15,000 baht per day in case of illness in Thailand by the Norwegian government. But the problem is that they then have to call the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok (which does not open on weekends), and that I must prepay treatment and then apply for reimbursement.

I want an assurance that ensure rapid and unproblematic processing. NOT prepay.

  9. Anybody have experience with pool standing in shadow all the time? I now have one small pool, octagonal, with a diameter of 3.5 meters, but this is mostly in the sun.
Personally, I like that the pool will cool you down, and the water is not too hot. Should not the air temperature is sufficient if one does not like it too hot?
Has designed me a house (ground floor), and appreciate your feedback, is not finished with the second floor yet.

The ground floor has a kitchen, two bathrooms and maid's room.
    Surface area 20x15 meters.
