Ok then so you both realise you need to resort to this as you both get schooled on your own club. Carmine you need to get up early to keep up with me. Aconn  (snigger) your a substitute son an unused one. If you was a condom you'd be out of date.

Get up early!!!  I could be comatose and make nonsense of your posts.

You just repeat the same old toss, nothing materializes and you start off again with the same old sh1t.  Now were back again to us not winning anything........meanwhile neither have Liverpool!  Have i missed something, brummie?

I don't need you or anyone to agree with me if you can't see the business side of things at play then your not too clued up about your club.  All your top former players were nailed to long term contracts prior to big sales. It's a good model I don't see how it would be any different for a manager.

You're a brummie that supports Liverpool....nuff said, run along.

You've been barking on about Poch going,  Kane going Dele going........ and you've never been tight yet.  Loser.  You need the supergrass to back you up....nuff said again!!

The statement is done for a reason and you should know this. It's called maximum value and is the specialty of your chairman. Same reason with the contract and the contracts likely include clauses with regards to public comments too.

Stop talking cobblers.  The only one that will agree with you is the supergrass and that says it all.

Credit where it’s due that was a tactical masterclass and some exceptional individual performances.

Once again Poch showed why he is one of the best and will continue to be linked with the likes of Madrid and United.

With the resources he has there isn't a manager in any of the top five european leagues doing any better than Pochettino.  And fortunately he's very committed to Spurs and what he wants to achieve there otherwise he wouldn't have made the very straightforward public statement he did a few weeks ago.

On a plus side we should have Kane, Dele and Dier all back, possibly by our next league game so we'll just be getting stronger.

  5. First half was very tight.  Dortmund looked dangerous.  So, what did Poch say at half time?

Second half we were nothing short of magnificent. Absolutely outstanding.  Any other team in the CL will be taking note of that because we were simply unstoppable.  Vertonghen used deplored as a left sided wingback and responded with a man of the match performance but i think that Juan Foyth came a close second.  Sonny is starting to show glimpses of becoming world class and in Davinson Sanchez next to Foyth we are already set post Toby.  I won't accept that we are through yet but we certainly have one foot in.

Toby was his usual imperious self but if he wants a move at the end of the season he can go, we no longer need him.

Five on the bounce for the Harry Kane Team and a much needed ten days rest.

The crazy thing is many of them are meeting in two or three pubs not that far from Wembley each home game.

Its a crazy situation and a lot of them are our most vocal and loyal support over many years.

    A sad situation imho.

Well Levy should get the <deleted> stadium open then!!  Could this season get any harder?  It's been bad enough without us making even harder.  It started off bad enough right from the start of the season with half our first team missing through playing in the world cup final stages!  Never improved from there!!

A massive game this tonight which I'll sadly miss....hopefully I will arrive in kangaroo land to find we have a goal or two cushion to work with.

Be good to see some who are boycotting Wembley turn up and fill the stadium tonight but we'll see.

I understand the reasons for boycotting but it ain't helping the team at a pivotal time of the season.  Dortmund was the toughest draw we could get, then throw in the injuries and its clear it will be a phenomenal achievement getting through to the next round.

  8. Injuries relating to Dortmund fixture; Kane, Dele, Dier, Lamela, Davies and possibly Rose.

The Rose situation being significant. Might mean playing Vertonghen as a wing back?

Anyway, after this fixture we have some time off finally, ten days off till we play at Burnley.

  9. We're just grinding out the wins now!!A very good night for us. # its and itch beat Chelsea.  We now have a lovely cushion.

Funny though, if you hadn't watched the game and merely listened to the pundits you would think we had lost.  I think the current crop of pundits are the worst i have ever experienced.

Bullshit pundits aside, Its possible we will have Kane and Dele back for the game at Burnley.

We might just well do that just for the hell of it

Well City must have that game earmarked as possibly three points dropped by Liverpool.  We also know derbies make for a good leveler, despite form and ability.

Spurs to beat Chelsea and Arsenal that would go down well

It would wouldn't it.  United could also throw the cat amongst the pigeons beating Liverpool on the same day City play Chelsea in the Carabao final.

Funny and true, all the journalists which match that day was the most important and they all day, "without a doubt, United/Liverpool"    If the Carabao is deemed that irrelevant maybe it times to bin it and reduce the ridiculous fixture congestion?  Just a thought.....

No, im not confusing you with someone who is interesting.

Always dishing it out then whining to teacher "but he's he's always baiting me!" when it comes back.  Pathetic.

  13. Five players on the injury list which isn't ideal but we can still put out a strong side on sunday.  Will he start with Llorente?  We'll need to watch Leicester on the counter too.  I thought they did enough against United to have taken a point so this is going to be another tough fixture.

There seems a reasonable chance Kane and Dele with be back for the Chelsea game. Baring in mind we follow that fixture with Arsenal and Dortmund this would be a boost.

  14. Seems rather strange that Uefa president Aleksander Cerafin has singled out Guardiola, Pochettino and OGS for not turning up to his meeting about VAR.  I didn't think anyone of any consequence bothered to go.

Anyway, he needs to speak to Sky Sports because Tottenham do not officially exist.????

Spurs's chosen path to what they hope is success is a bold experiment. I don't think young players at Spurs are any better than the young players at the other top 6 clubs. City and Chelsea seem to have the pick of youngsters but refuse to play them in their first teams. It looks like the manager wants to have the time to build his team and Spurs owners are aligned with that. Pochettino could go to Real Madrid but would not last 3 years there. No-one does. He could be another Ferguson or Wenger, building a dynasty. I know it turned sour for Wenger but he he had 2 or 3 fabulous teams in his time.

What leads you to think City and Chelsea have the pick of the youngsters might i enquire!!!  Not that i'm bothered i'm just interested in how you come to this conclusion.  Have you seen the academy players up at Carrington for example?

Really glad that we bought Winks over Fred, Keita and Jorginho ????

Funny each on of them cost at least 10m more than the cost of our academy!  Surely theres an irony there!

I have been thinking more and more recently that in order to avoid a future financial crisis in the european game FIFA and UEFA must act and start to implement caps to stop things getting further out of hand.  I just think its for the good of the game.

Of course when we come second or third it will be a disaster of Levy's making cos he failed to pony up the cash....if we win the league some of the pundits are going to need sedatives!!

Winning the league is not going to happen but do you really want to take away those predictable comments and statements that we know already will come gushing out from the usual sources!!!  We know what they are going to say already!!

Savage, Shearer, Neville, Richard Keys Carragher, Henry, Parlour, remember were all highly successful managers ????....and lets not forget that toothless halfwit simpleton Joey Barton that was also embarrassingly referenced once on here!!!

What will happen is, regardless whether we finish third, fourth or fifth, and even though none of the so called expert pundits, Robbie Savage being the biggest c**t of all,  or the papers or anyone on here has us as title contenders, if we don't win the title we will be labelled bottlers! Spursy.

Its ludicrous, sad, funny, pathetic perhaps but either way,  an utter nonsense.  Words spouted out to ridicule a clubs working model, done to appease their own feelings of inadequacy. its quite unsettling the fact that the media, pundits, other clubs and TV posters just cannot, will not,  their feathers so ruffled by a club that attempts to promote from within and has a long term strategy to find success rather than short term big spending.
