Maybe they subtract some points for your lies and blatant braggadocio?

My father was very smart in business and math, which he used to disguise what a jerk he was...
It took me until about 30+ years of age to realize that he promises things but doesn't deliver. He was a screwed up guy, but that doesn't mean that I was not smart enough not to repeat his mistakes.
You live, you watch and you learn, even if that is merely what not to be...

My wife's best friend works as a maid in Bkk... she is getting on in years, but she is in demand - she may have a couple of days a week free if that helps. I have known her personally for over 20 years. PM me for more info.

We have to go to New Hampshire? It's cold there - I prefer to stay home... my home is designed to be more comfortable than a resort...

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell for a heavenly cause- 1

I went a few times years ago - - - when I thought the speakers might be interesting... not too much so. until they took questions and people would stand up and start telling their life story
If you are talking about the Saturday morning buffet breakfast put on by Dukes - yes, I would go to that again.

I am asking about the quality of the butchery, and the preparation of the dish,
I don't eat steak in Thailand unless it is pork. Tartare or not.
But, if you are looking for kosher - probably not.

My wife has seen some nice prefab homes on the internet - we are looking for a guest cottage.
Is there any place relatively local to Chiang Mai where we can see some in real life, not just photos?
Does anyone have experience with such homes? Some are very inexpensive...

The only open question is for me what kind of proof the Revenue Department like to see, for now haven't found an information yet. I'm not in rush to find it out but will contact RD in Hua Hin in some weeks to clarify this question for me.

Yes, you would owe taxes each year on what you bring in each year. It's that simple.
others are saying that if the money was earned in the past then it would not be taxable when brought in?

Have you read this -
Because if you had you probably would not need to ask........
Simplistically -
2 - Tax currently only potentially on what is brought here
1 - Anything earned before 1/1/24 counts as savings and not taxable when brought in.
So, lets say you currently have a bank account with $1,000,000 and you earn $100,000 this year but it all goes into the same account - - - and you bring $100,000 into Thailand every year...
would you not owe taxes for ten years?

1. What about money that has been earned, banked and taxed a long time ago and then brought here this year?
2. What about money earned this year in the stock market in the USA but is not brought here?
Thanks
