I use to bring 10/15 of these to Thailand along time ago now, give or sell to expats, Never a problem, also brought cheese and wine, The wife takes vegetables/ fruit from Thailand to the uk usually 40 kgs, Only once she a problem leaving Thailand for the uk and had 2kgs of nam pick in her carry on luggage, it was taken off her no fine we joked with the staff that they would be eating it later, another occasion flying into Manchester uk my wife had 2.5kgs of dired prawns, the limt was 2kgs so I said to the officer ok put 500grams in my bag! A no and confiscated! 😁😂🐘

25 years ago! 😂😂 Get with the program now 2024! You can now get most thai foods and vegetables cheaper in the uk, than Thailand Made my wife laugh 35 years ago when a package from a supermarket contained 5 chillies! Papaya are still a bit expensive! Probably due to short shelf life!

For comparison many vegetables imported to the uk from Thailand are now cheaper in the uk! All though my wife feels its necessary to up her luggage allowance to 40 kgs and tow all this home! 😰🐘😁🐒☻🙈🐻

I've a light heart similar incident Thailand, young guy driving a pickup truck lots of eggs on the bed at back, Small turning on to our road soi house and few other houses, next door neighbor likes a few bottles of lao kao. Had been at the market, on his motorbike, cuts up the egg truck and both crash, I run to the seen Eggs every where, truck guy all ok, Nextdoor neighbor not so good scrapes and a few blood wounds, but kept seeing all this flesh on the road motorbike etc he had been at the market and had bought 2kgs of chicken fillets that was now spread on the road! He his now sadly passed on I liked our time and sometimes battles together !
