Firewall: Open a terminal window: Type: sudo ufw enable That should enable your firewall if it isn't already. I'm a Linux Mint guy, but it's based on Ubuntu so you should be able to do the same. Look online how to install clamav on your version of Ubuntu. Then install the Graphical User Interface clamtk. Clamtk is intuitive enough to figure out without burning too many braincells. Most version of Linux are pretty resilient. Make sure you have a user account and a super-user account and only use the latter when you need to do maintenance on your system.

A roll with a business woman is has no emotional residue and associated risk, and there is never ending choice. Gigs and mia nois are a headache.

Age plays hell on those "beautiful" women. My own wife was hotter than a firecracker back in the day. Now in her 60s and fond of food? Her "beauty" isn't anything that is reflected in a mirror. Especially naked.

I had things much more explicit in mind.

If I still had children, like alcohol, the kid can do as they like when they reach the age of majority or the age when it's legal. As long as they kid lives under my roof? They conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the family's values. What they do once they leave my care is their own business. Caveat: Beating children is abhorrent. If the beating are true, he should be jailed.

"Love" in many ways is a hormonal secretion the purpose of which is the propagation of the species. I've "loved" many women in my youth. It was just so much humpin' and pumpin', then suddenly you're face with the realities of who the person really is. Then <poof>. Love is over. I'm not a cynic. I do know couples who stay deeply in love for decades. It's not the norm, but it is a beautiful thing to see. It transcends "humpin' and pumpin'," which nowadays in this venal society seems to be the exception and not the norm. Now? Hell. I won't elaborate. Do I "love" women (as I am 100% hetero)? No. I have compassion and mutual respect for those who have the same for me. You can call that "Love" if you wish.

One question concerning a Last Will and Testament
connda replied to Keith5588's topic in General Topics
And that will cause your beneficiaries nothing but grief in probate count. But you'll be dead so? What the heck 'eh? Best of luck on this. You're not listening to anyone's advice, so why post this in the first place. ???? Bye. -
One question concerning a Last Will and Testament

Have a lawyer draw up a copy in both English and Thai. Run the translation through an online translation program if you're paranoid and have your girlfriend interpret anything you don't understand. You're fretting over nothing that can't be easily resolved unless you yourself are creating the problem. Lot of good info here by other member. Stop discounting it. -
One question concerning a Last Will and Testament

Sure. But when you take it to probate the court will probably demand a notarized translation. Sooooo. Just have a lawyer draw up your Will in both English and Thai. That's what I have. Easy breezy. -
Get a pellet gun. It will do the job without putting people down-range at risk of getting killed. A .22 wound is no laughing matter.
-
Shooting birds eating fish? There are less dangerous options. I wouldn't want your wife to have a .22 either. Her popping off trying to kill bird would probably end the life of a neighbor or villager walking by. Most Thais don't have a clue about gun safety.

In Thailand there are legally registered guns and illegal guns. Gun Control: Legal guns are expensive (five time the price of a pistol/revolver bought in the US) and the registration process is time consuming (upwards of months). So Thailand controls legally purchased firearms via price and regulation. Unlike the US, the police know where your legally purchase gun is. And there are strict controls on those firearms. Once purchased, most of those firearms must remain at the buyer's residence. Only a small handful of firearm owners can legally carry and firearm. Illegal guns are affordable and remain unregistered. Many are cheap, poorly made, and dangerous to operate. Owning an illegal firearm can get you tossed into prison for a long time. Like any black market activity, the cops can only do so much. The recent massacre. Reality. The murderer slit many of the kids throats with a knife while they slept. Given that the guy was previously a cop, my guess is that his firearm was legal. Controlling weapons? Should rocks, sticks, and knives be illegal from this point on. How about fists and feet. Where do you draw the line? Gun control in Thailand if very robust as opposed to the US. How do you stop genocidal murderers? Murderers were murdering people before guns were even invented. Solution? I don't think their is one. This is the reality into which we are born, sucks as it may.
