Thai Consulates are normally closed on both Thai and local holidays but the 12th is a substitute holiday so may remain open if not also a local holiday/substitute - but always best to check first.
My point was one of your moderators posted a few days before that Thai embassies abroad would be closed, I called three i know of and all were staying open.

The required document list requires 400k in bank account. So not a valid option for most persons seeking visa rather than extension because of low savings.
Required documents are:1. One completed and signed visa application form
2. One recent passport-sized photograph (3.5 x 4.5cm)
3. Passport (valid for no less than 6 months)
4. Copy of Airline ticket or confirmation slip with flight number date of entry
5. Copy of Marriage Certificate, Passport and Identity Card of Thai spouse
(Copies of documents must be signed by Thai Spouse)
6. Letter from Thai spouse
7. Bank Statement (at least 400,000 Baht)
Regardless of that, they are offering them, so it would be good if you updated your info anyway.
There were plenty just like me there applying for the same visa.

Unless you are a national or resident of Singapore do not believe a multi entry will be issued from previous reporting. But if you got last year perhaps you can get again.
Non Immigrant O based on marriage, multiple entry in hand, and I'm not a Singaporean.
As i said before I've never had a problem there.
One of your mods stated on here that the embassy was closed on Monday the 12th for Constitution day, which was false.
Please update your info on here as it is misleading for those wanting current info. You are Thai "visa" after all, and people look here for info.

Will be very interesting to read the first post/experience.
You are reading it, i just did it.
As stated above, if all the paperwork is in order then no probs.
-
Singapore is still offering non imm O visas based on marriage as of yesterday. You do need all the correct documents as stated on their website though. The Muslim lady at the desk still as helpful and lovely as always.

LED last twice as long as plasma.
Plasma gets way too hot for the Thai tropics.
LCD last about 6-7 years here.
LED you should get around 10-12 years.

Not a bad drop at all.

Cheers StevieH. Will look into them too. PIm

Just called Singapore, they are open on the 12th. Business as usual was the ladies reply.
-
I am surprised by that. The last 2 years I have renewed my marriage non-O multi visa there and no problems what so ever. The Muslim woman at the counter have always been very friendly and business like.
I am going there in 2 month time for renewal again.
I agree. Have always had nothing but friendly service from the Muslim woman you mentioned.
Did you succeed this year with your visa? Have heard mixed reports.

In jan it was morning in. next afternoon out.
that's the way it has always been
BUT Penang will be much cheaper for those two nights :-)
Just out of curiosity Richard, was that a non imm O visa you were applying for ? And did you get multiple entry ?
Last December i got one without a problem.
Regards.

Hi there.
Anyone have the latest news on Singapore regarding Non Imm O multiple entry visas?
I've heard both yay and nay lately, any help would be much appreciated.
I got one with no problems this time last year, and their website says they are still doing multiple entry.
Regards.

Try the German beer hall brewery behind the old Carrefour. Great brews available, and the best pork knuckle in town.

Worry is interest paid on trouble not yet due.Buddhism ( meditation ) is growing worldwide. Don't worry if Thai Buddhism is fading. It's not called the teaching of the "elder" for nothing. It will endure in some shape or form.

Now that would be something. Fingers crossed.
