Flights for millionaires?

I'm from Belgium too .
What do you see from the countries on the list , Countries not with most vaccinated ( Top vaccinated countries in the world aren't on it ) . Countries not with the lowest infection rates ( same are but most are not ) .
Which are on the list :
Big countries , the ones with high number of people travel to Thailand , like UK , France Germany .
Small countries with no travellers to Thailand , only there for show ... like Dominica , Luxembourg , San Marino
Medium countries but also with almost no visitors , and in fact low vaccination rate and actually high infection numbers . Croatia , Slovenia , ...
That leaves smaller countries , like Portugal , Belgium ... , but high vaccination numbers completely forgotten .
The opening is for money , not for getting tourism . Both look the same but actually are not . They want to get people back : so they give the free entrance to highest visiting countries , and to a few of the supposed to be wealthy population countries . And to top it up , they just named a few totally unknown (for them) countries , just to advertise that they are open for 27 countries . They might as well also say that moon habitants are welcome without quarantine and also the other visitors from 38 billion solar systems , but that would be a bit too obvious .
No worries , i'm pretty sure , Belgium and many others will make it on the list for the month after or at latest the January list .
Yup.
Russia is nowhere on a list. Red on all covid maps.
However they just announced charter flights in big numbers from multiple russian cities startin november 9.
Yeah, thats the day. Uve been warned. Dont thank me.

He'sbeen doing the job for a long time now and he will most likely continue as he should.
Why do the farang waste their mindless energy on this ..... LoL !!
Farangs here tend to forget that Thaivisa is not a thai election commission.
There are millions and millions of everyday thais who would vote for Prayut in a heartbeat.

The point is that Russia has several types of vaccines. Only Sputnik V is approved in Thailand. Other countries have their own too, not recognized by others. The QR code links to the national database of the country of origin. Thailand immigration would have no way of verifying that the vaccination document is genuine and that the type of vaccinations is permitted.
So yes, I am afraid that some kind of certification from the Thai Embassy in the country of origin might be needed. We will have to see if they confirm the quarantine-free recommendation and how they are going to implement it (e.g., insurance?)
Not thai immigration.
They would delegate it to airlines.
If u dont have correct code u cant board the plane.
In a same way Airasia askin u for return ticket when u board the plane.
So if u flew in, its mean u alright.

If they scrap the COE, how are they going to verify vaccination status? Airlines aren't gonna do it and it's impossible for Passport Control to do it so there aren't many options, as I see it.
In russia u need to provide QR code to board a plane. Nothing difficult.

Actually, the total was 28,000 in early September. There are a number of sources for daily totals, typically from Facebook news outlets. Number of first PCR tests undertaken on arrivals is usually a good starter. Are the numbers low? Of course they are, but people are still arriving though for reasons and purposes not related strictly to tourism.
Just looked at arriving international flights today, 2 from Singapore, 1 from Dubai, and 1 from Hong Kong. These flights are not empty.
EDIT: OK, just looking through some things, the Richard Barrow "Thai News Reports" on FB is a reliable source. This from a couple of days ago:
"Update: On 24th September, 438 international travellers arrived on 5 flights bringing the total to 36,330. Since 1st July, 105 Sandboxers (+4) have tested positive. 38 on 1st test, 32 on 2nd test, 11 on 3rd test, and 24 from close contact test".
Close contact test? I thought they stopped it after fiasco with that poor german woman.

Have not read the full 11 pages of this news on ASEAN , but I did read another announcement on Pattaya news this morning that states that 7 day quarantine will still be necessary, so what am I misunderstanding here. ?I do réalisé that it has to be all fully published and questions of COE still open. Thanks.
If they abolish COE id drink myself to a full day sleep.

Rubbish.
Thailand is now a virtual vassal state of China so this parroting of the Chinese Communist Party line is to be expected.
The reality is that the Chinese have been steadily building up their naval strength , have built illegal island bases on China sea reefs , in fact have laid claim to the whole sea riding rough shod over territorial claims of the Philippines , Vietnam , Malaysia and Brunei.
In addition they have made repeated promises to retake Taiwan by force, have repeatedly violated the air space of the above three countries and threatened retaliation against Japan or the USA should they try to come to Taiwans defense.
The Chinese Communist party is doing more to wreck the stability of the region than all the others combined. Make no mistake, they started this race themselves and expect everyone else to be intimidated by their threats. If they are foolish enough to start something they will quickly come to regret it. In the meantime they are hoping their bullying and swaggering will get them hegemony over the area without any interference.
China builds illigal naval bases))) this is sweet. Well, good for them.
By the way. Have u ever heard about Diego Garcia base? I wonder if u consider this base to be legal.

It seems a shame many give a far from stellar impression when they come to visit Thailand. They come across as rough and uncouth, and quick to become aggressive.
I never seen rude ruskies at Phuket, or Samui. But ive seen plenty in Pattaya.
It looks like excuisite russians go as far as possible from Pattaya and rude guys from Siberia goin on tour packages in Pattaya and dont know any best.
Imagine working on a gas or oil fields around bears and wolfes for months. Ofcourse ud go very crazy very fast.
Same with brits in Palma and Benidorm. Same with italians on octoberfest. Same with aussies in Kuta beach.
U tell it like all westerners walkin around Thailand with books discussing greek philosophers. Waiting for 5o clock cuppa with a freaking pinky out!

This is how i see it.
It was blackmailish approach and it didnt work out.
Thais wanted sputnik in exchange for approvement. Didnt get sputnik, still approved.
I guess Sputnik now is only vaccine which is not available in Thailand in any form, but still approved. Quite a charade.

Seems to me that in the 2nd para he’s saying that if everyone in Thailand were double vaccinated (as is the case for everyone on the arriving flight), and if the number of infections in Thailand was very low, then there might be a case for PCR tests of the passengers, but otherwise not. Only possible objection I can see to this logic is that you might argue that there’s a small risk of an arriving passenger introducing a new strain of virus to Thailand.
I understood it as FINALLY someone realised them 3 pcr tests are major drawback for incoming tourism. Not only price, but whole procedure when for 2 weeks straight someone holding ur balls whispering to ur ear "there is a chance i might screw ur whole vacation" and that someone is not a cute ladyboy.

It's hard to view AZ as best while it suffers the most from adenovirus (AV) anti-vector response.
This occurs when early shots trigger immune responses against the vaccine in addition to COVID. Experts say this can cause lower efficacy for re-vaccinations for all AV vaccines. AstraZenica is the only one with an initial problem, the reason for the long 12 to 45 week wait for 2nd shots. Sputnik got around this by using 2 different AV vectors. J&J uses only one shot. (AZ marketing tries to sell this as a plus)
ClinicalTrialsArena: Adenovirus-vectored Covid-19 vaccines’ efficacy during a potential revaccination campaign likely to be stifled by antivector response
Reuters : AstraZeneca, Sputnik vaccines face hurdles if COVID shots become annual affair
People need to know this when planning future vaccinations. Otherwise, AZ is a good vaccine. I had my second yesterday. I will later top up with Moderna.
Its all about money. All of them a good jabs(otherwise thered be a deathfields around) but AZ cost 2 bucks and Moderna cost 25.

CCSA operations director say detailed announcements on Thailand’s reopening plan to vaccinated foreign tourists without quarantine will come this week

When u have a will of a government everything is possible.
Now back in mother Russia if u google "fake certificate" it leads u to sites which explaining how long u gonna do time. And also fine.
Fake paper certificate are no use. QR code is easily trackable. Ur name is in the base and u need id.
The only problem are hardcore antivaccers. This is what they do to get a legit QR code.
They are coming to hospitals. U need to know a nurse, otherwise it wouldnt work out. Hospital staff are scared of constant undercover police checkings. So if someone unknown asking questions they prolly refuse.
So u know a nurse. U come to her office, she scanning a jab, put it in a system, then flash it away in a sink.
THEN after 3 weeks u come back and do this again.
The whole procedure is so stupid and so timetaking id rather have a jab for real.
