Will the new Toyota Fortuner be available with a hybrid engine? Maybe around the end of the year or in 2025?

Sounds like a normal day in large US cities.

Different strokes for different folks!

They need to end this type of punishment in Thailand once and for all.

I'm pretty sure that the Thai ladyboys don't like the competition from other countries. It cuts into their profits.

Time to be prosecuted for the crimes that you committed.

Well, you don't see that everyday. I wish him well in his military career.

You definitely needed a Thai lawyer on your side advocating for you the minute this happened. They would know the best course of action to take to get you the result that you need.

Hun Sen should be brought before a war crimes tribunal for his actions as a Khmer Rouge officer. He has the blood of many people on his hands.

You should go back and re-read the full text of the article. It does state that she escaped off the bike, injuring herself, and the rider turned to come back to her but when he saw that she had assistance he bugggered off. You really think that it likely that she volunteered the fare or that the rider asked for it?!
Probably not. Just wondering if he had the balls to ask after all that. It's inconclusive in the article which just leads to speculation.

If you read the full OP you'd know.
Not really. The article doesn't state if she paid the taxi fare or if she didn't pay. You should go back and re-read the full text of the article.

Whenever I search anything in Thailand using a questionable word. A Thai Government WARNING pops up. So how are others even getting to X sites??
VPN's are the way to go for a lot of websites that the Thai government finds objectionable. From X-rated sites to criticizing the government, VPN's feel a void.

Did she pay her taxi fare or just did a runner?

I recall riding from central Bangkok to Wat Khlong Toey Nok Pier and taking a small boat across to Bang Kachao....
I made that ride many times back in the 90's. A great area to ride. The Bangkok side not so much.

Nowt! Are you saying that you do 30kph CONTINUOUSLY for 3.5 hours?
I wouldn't doubt it at all that he does. I do. Now, I might take a break after an hour or so for a few minutes but while I'm on the bike I'm riding usually between 29-33kph with the "sweet spot" at right around 30-31kph. That's on flat ground with no wind.

Hes got cash. Could even get caught and end up in hospital instead of prison, and just wait until hes paroled?
Ha! Yeah right. That would never happen in Thailand. (sarcasm intended)

Another good reason to steer clear of ladyboys. Might be a good idea NOT to take them back to your place.

Imagine that, what are the chances
The Heritage Foundation is a very far right conservative institution. I would be very surprised if they ever had anything positive to say about a moderate Republican let alone a Democrat.

I left Thailand in 2001 expecting to return in a year. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and I didn't use the account again until 2005. Updated my passbook in 2005 and noticed I had around 1,500 baht in it which was more than I thought would be in it. Old ATM debit card had expired but I got a new one. Everything went very smoothly. This was years ago so maybe some of the banking rules have changed.

Not surprised by this at all.
However, the bias in this report is very evident.

I became a lifetime member of the Pattaya Expats Club back in 2006. I have rarely attended any of their meetings since then. I just haven't felt the need or desire to attend.

The price listed in the article seemed very affordable. I just hope that they are durable.
