  1. Iam using the Blackvue DR550GW-GW-2CH.

Can the rear cam be hooked up to a monitor in the front? Such as the rear cams here that connect into a special rearview mirror that has a small monitor section on it?

The rear cam is not really a parking camera but you could buy a cheap android tablet and connect via wifi for a permanent screen solution.

I don't view the cameras at all, I do via my phone if I want but that novelty wore off after a day. Now I just pop the memory card when I get home and pull the clips from it andview on my PC.

Sorry i'm late with the thank you Spoonman, but thanks for your reply in another topic a few weeks back.

Have you checked out the GPS on playback, does it work? I was told that this models firmware doesn't support Thailand GPS?

I'm told GPS on the ones sourced from Korea (which some places sell in Thailand) don't work in Thailand. Perhaps it depends on the firmware version ?

Mine has the english firmware v2.002.

The company (Pittasoft) that makes them is a Korean company so Iam not sure where else they could be sourced from so I would be looking at product authenticity before firmware version if there is an issue with the GPS.

Is this the same Woolworths that used to exist (and now long gone) in the US some 40 years ago?

Sent from my SM-T705 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

If you read the thread you will find your answer.

Thanks. Reading 7 pages of thread about Woolworths didn't excite me. I didn't realize there was so much interest.

No need to read all 3 pages (dunno where you are getting 7 from). Read the post 6 up from yours .

  4. I asked my Mazda dealer for the instruction book in English and they said they couldn't get one. They referred me to a Bangkok number, and left it at that. Spoonman, do you have a contact for Mazda Thailand?

lol yeah we own the Mazdacity dealerships. I'll flick the manager an email.

  5. So Thais carry their passports with them every day? Have you not read that an alien has to carry his/her passort. No other ID is acceptable! See http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/747424-hua-hin-immigration-clarifies-rules-on-foreigners-carrying-id/?utm_source=newsletter-20140730-1647&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=breaking

Yeah I don't care for how Hua Hin has decided to interpret the immigration law.

Change the Oil on the Blocks. Is this a piss take.Just jack the thing up.Waffle. Waffle.w00t.gif

An use blocks or stands once it is in the air. If the jack fails and the vehicle is not support by other means you can become dead really quick.

If you take the wheels off...not taking the wheels off.

Why bother with stands then ?

  7. Woolworths not sourcing internal, Ford and Toyota stopping production, China boom over for hard commodities; what is going on with the Australian economy? Case of overheated economy? or just that the government have never been business friendly.

Woolworths have been sourcing out of country for many many many years already. for the stuff they do source internally they screw the supplier until the point they collapse in financial ruin.

Them and coles hold a duopoly on the supermarket industry in OZ and are basically above the law.

  8. Even on an extension for work, I have never been asked to show my work permit when re-entering the country and this was just a few months ago. Most people don't travel with their work permits as they could get lost and are useless and meaningless outside of Thailand anyway.

I always carry my workpermit as it is handy to use the Thai Immigration lines when the airport is rammed with tourists.

They allowed you to use the Thai immigration line, really?

Never tried that , if yes , then I will carry my work permit with me on my next trip .

    Wenne

I have been pulled when heading to the line and told to go to the non-Thai ones but a quick flash of the work permit and they let me through.
