  1. Regarding Noise, if you go to a Trim Shop, that does Leather Seats, there is allways one chap who can remove the roof lining and fit those sticky sound pieces in. That makes a big difference. That Drum noise when it rains has gone.

It is called Dynamat, my Maz 3 makes too much noise for my liking so am having the roof, doors and floor done.
  2. There is no need to impair your vision any more .3M keeps out the heat.Isnt that what the Old Cheap Stuff was for ? , or was it just a Fashion Statement for Boy Racers. Its really nice to drive with the clear stuff, passengers are the first to comment How nice it is to see better.Upto You.

So what your saying is that it should be banned because you don't like it.

Using that train of thought all pickup's should be banned and all cars that are not Honda should also be banned because you don't like them either.

  3. If you read the link you liked before it says:

Applicants must bring the following with them to the passport interview:

    • Completed one-page Renewal Form available at www.passports.gov.au

    • Current Australian passport

    • Three passport photos (guidelines regarding size, colour, etc are listed on the website).

    • Cash fee payable in Thai baht.

This is exactly how the process was for me, no need for additional ID.
  4. ['quote]1. Cut the back side+roof of Suzuki Caribian, weld a roll bar and put the necessary plastics and removable soft top which covers the front and back + paint.[/quote]

Cutting of the roof involves a bit more than welding a roll bar to achieve an acceptable body strength. Ever had a look at the differences in chassis reinforcement between a hardtop and a convertible ?

The Suzuki in question is not monocoque body, chopping the roof off is not an issue.

  5. BEER ROASTED CAT
    1 cat cut into roast
1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
    1 cube of beef bouillon
    1 clove of garlic
    1 Can of Beer Chang.

Cover and soak cat roast in salt water for 24 hours. Drain water and then cover and soak in beer for 6 hours.

Drain and place in crock pot with your cans of soup.

Add a clove of garlic, and a cube of beef bouillon. If you start to slow cook your cat in the morning you'll have finely cooked feline in time for supper.

If a slow cooker is not available, a cat can be baked at 350f degrees for 2-3 hours in a conventional oven and still come out pretty good.

Beer Roasted Cat is fantastic served with mashed potatoes, collard greens, and fresh, homemade egg rolls. When planning a full meal just remember- cat is a course best served hot!

When cooked take to the owner and present the meal as a peace offering.

  6. Looking at the rest of the book I would say it is not 100%.

There is the thing with the 4 cylinders and the front of the book lists the numberplate as 802, not to mention the pencil on the bottom looks to have been erased and written over.

If I were to buy this I would not hand over any cash until the book has been updated to my name. If it is dodgy they will be apprehensive (Land Trans Dept) to do this.

what do you think. it is a beauty and i think if this green book is genuine etc then how could i not sell on again in a couple of years if i do not get my use out of it .

    thanks

and did you compare the chassis and engine numbers if they are the same ones on bike?

book might be from another bike, common here.

He has already said he aint here, Iam sure due diligence will happen before cash handover at the LTD when book is signed over into his name.

The fact the book is a Chonburi one is encouraging.

  8. You bought an outgoing model before the dealership sales. not there fault you could not wait.

No my friend. At that time that model in particular was just released, more than a year ago. That king of marketing with outdated cars is not common, not even permitted to dealers in the US. Will be even more loss for people that bought the updated model for 2014 just 3 months ago. In the US, new models and any incoming changes are announced way in advance, and older models are out of the show room. But..... I understand that is another market. Was a learning experience for me..and may be useful for other new people in Thailand. My fault...not enough research.

Really the 2013 was a new release and less than a year later they updated it. I do not believe that for one second.
