Why anyone orders from them is beyond me, if you spend the time to find the PH number of the business you want food from most are willing to deliver for the Restaurant price and send it Via a motosai at what ever he/she charges (surprised if over 50b).

Struth Tokay, I love living out with all its niggly annoying little quirks, Having said that i moved from Australia to what my research told me was a third world country, I was pleasantly surprised the place aint really third world (ok maybe outside the bigsmoke it is but meh).

I love the fact there is no big brother watching, I can within reason pretty much do as I please, yeah I get annoyed sometimes with dealing with the locals but Ive worked fulltime since I first arrived so Iam somewhat conditioned to it now.

Everyday brings some new surprises, some good some not so good, either way I view life thru a half full glass and enjoy it whilst Iam able to, prolly helps I have access to a fully equipped machine/workshop that has every tool imaginable and as Iam hands on anything I need doing I can do myself, for personal/home stuff involving Thais, that's where my missus comes into action !!!

My employment however was initially through the AUS company I worked for, in 2006 the owner set up a JV with a Thai company but in 2008 when the JV dissovled the Thai company kept me on.

Could i have gained similar employment without the Aus/Thai JV, not a chance.

I think it depends more on the traffic at the time, on my 8mb connection my download speeds vary between 1.5mb/sec and 150kb/sec...... mostly noticable saturday afternoons and sunday mornings.

OK...I also know people who are working with specialist skills but have you not taken into account the only skills that this guy has is a police officer. I dont think that is something that a thai cant do....do you? Then again maybe..........hehe

My only trade qualifications are that of a Baker and Screenprinter, Iam however employed out here on an expat salary in a Prototyping/Fabrication Role for a very large Thai company.

There is hope yet for those with no Diploma's

At home and work i live stream my fav Aussie radio station JJJ, in the car it usually something heavier like Pantera/Disturbed/SOAD/Napalm Death/Carcass Etc Etc.

Place in tukom sell the Arcade for 11,000b, its modded to play pirated games, beware though, if you try to play online there is a good chance it will get banned, mine did, MS removed the wifi feature and the Media centre, highly annoying as i was only using it as a HTPC in my bedroom.

They don't make a 2 door 4 wheel drive any more (only 4 door). In fact I'm not sure why but it seems the only 4x4 you can get these days is a 4 door regardless of manufacture. Very hard to figure as there is a massive market potential with the farming community.

Ive tried a few different ones, none seemed to provide any noticable temperature improvements.
