Best to go direct to Garry at AA Insurance Brokers as he will explain everything. His email is gary(at)aainsure.net

I see the price of regular 91 is the same as gasohol 91 today - both 34 Baht. Might put a few tanks of regular through to flush the tubes out

For the best advice we could find use : AA

Quite correct I'm afraid. He is well know in Udon and some years ago he killed someone but due to his mother paying a (very) large amount of money to the police got off very lightly. He's at it again and the locals are fed up and as they cannot trust the local plod have asked for the BKK police to help sort him out - unfortunately money talks.

Actually, the cover they are offering for expats is amazing, much better than the others i checked. In fact I've just applied as my current cover expires next month. The membership is only available until I'm 65 but that doesn't really concern me as I just want it for me and my kids whilst I'm living in Thailand. It beats anything else I've seen and let me tell you I have shopped around. I love it.
It's 2 1/2 times the cost of my local BUPA Thailand insurance premium although the cover is more extensive.
that was my first impression, but once i got the quotes for my child, her cover was almost the same as mine. With the RBI premium, for an extra 350 odd bucks to add the kid, it comes to nearly the same amount with superior coverage, evac etc...
anyways i bit the bullet.
I have been comparing this plan with the Thai Visa plans ( Health Insurance ) and have to say Thai Visa seems to come off best ? Apart from not cutting you off at just 65 they offer the same amounts but with much lower premiums and backed by Allianz - sorry but this plan you are talking about just does not stack up ! Take a look yourself

and there wont be a lot of rioting in Banbury where he is going to stay with his aunty.
I wouldn't be so sure, my nephew lives not far from Banbury and he has just posted, on his Facebook page, that thugs have just looted a vending machine and made off with a couple of bars of chocolate.

I see that Safe-T-Cut now do a combined unit which seems the best of both worlds ?
This is a consumer unit with a Residual Current Breaker with Over-current protection (RCBO)

Simple mistake - looked into this and if you check your quote you will see the wrong one was sent to you - quoted for an old bike, not a 2011. Suggest go back and ask for the correct 2011 quote :jap:

Agreed a great idea but ...............................
Fee
Internet booking fee is 20.00 baht/passenger and credit card processing surcharge is 3% of the total amount.
-
The published premiums are just that - they will not discount. I used the Thai Visa Brokers and got their ACS $1m plan - best value for money from I can see

I have only had 1 claim but dealt with very well by AA, no complaints
Seems this moaning "Wilma" is a professional at multiple insurance claims - I knew a few in the UK who made a living by ripping off insurance companies (until they were found out !) - seems Wilma has also been rumbled

We had a meeting here in Pattaya last year. It was great fun and met a lot of people whom I conversed with on a regular basis there.
TV is a great source of info...just need to weed out some of the silly comments.
So about time for another one this year - please ............................

There seems so many different plans with BBB just which one is the best.? I have to subscribe but do not know which to order after reading about Premier, Indy etc ?
Help please !
Try the 6mb 'indy' package first. 631.30 Baht all in per month. I have had it for 2 years and it is absolutely fine & fast enough for me. Try it first and upgrade if necessary.
Many thanks for all the recommendations - will try the Indy first then work up
Cheers

What about old fashioned 'Bleach' ?

Had my health plan (Thai Health) from AA and when I needed surgery no problem as paid direct to hospital - good service
-
B.H.S is renown for it's expense which is why some insurance companies shun it. 4 days/3 nights however for 62k is not unreasonable for that type of hospital.
Suggest you get health insurance :jap:

What is your model? Android S/W/ rev? What version of Google Talk?
What type of networks are you using?
What functions are you experiencing problems with? Chat/IM?
Hi lomotopo
HTC Desire HD - 2.3 and the G Talk that comes as standard
AIS - Edge
IM drops out frequently
-
First I must admit I have been used to BB and using their BB Messenger which I feel cannot be beaten by anyone for guaranteed speed and reliability.
However I am now trying a HTC phone and using G Talk as the messaging program and am very disappointed to find G Talk keeps dropping out and I have to sign back in - maybe two/three times an hour !
Anyone know a solution please ?

SP's sell them - bought one at their Big C (south) branch
-
Or
On Saturday at Big C, South Pattaya Road, they have a booth set up and you can pay your car tax there and get your sticker, no extra fee required
Bring the same documentation as stated above
Do you know if you can do transfer of ownership or not at Big C on Saturday?
No you cannot BUT you can buy the insurance opposite Big C at AA Insurance Brokers - they will also get the Road Tax for you.
-
If you PM me I will give send you the contact details of the company

Many cargo ships also take passengers (max 12 allowed). Maybe you can research if any of the container ships are going from Laem Chabang direct to the UK or, failing that, get a train to Singapore and pick up a ship there going direct - takes approx 4 weeks.
-
If they can't keep their web site up during the day suggest you don't trust them with your money ! Change banks, never have this bother with K Bank .........................
