Unfortunately, since 2008, it has gone downhill. New mods are not the same as the old ones, posters are jaded (me included) and it is mainly a local news venue (no, tv never will replace international news portal). More ads, sneaky modvertorials, ugly blue screens at log on.

Further to the original post - I spoke with Mityon Honda who were doing a display of bikes outside Big C. I asked if I could obtain a new (spare) remote alarm key.

First girl tells me - no way

Second girl tells me if I lose the remote - just go to the Mityon Honda shop and order another. When I asked how I would get there as my bike is locked and alarmed (supposedly) and I have just lost the key and remote (for example) and the bike alarm is set on - she gave my a wry smile and repeated that they can only get me a replacement if I have lost the original

So I told her - OK then ....... I have lost the original then (if she wants to play games)

She told me - no problem then - just come to the main shop and we will get you one.

For those who gloat over this guy getting the boot, think of it this way, today a PR of Indian descent is getting thrown out for speaking on a stage, tomorrow some one in the government may no longer want western geriatrics retiring here and no will longer issue those visa's or they decide they want higher quality retirees and increase the financial requirements and force many out the country.

One of the keys is making sure the container is well sealed, and kept sealed. My wife makes hers by adding the fish and salt for to the jar and leaving it for 6 months sealed, after which it is opened and a secret ingredients added to improve the flavour (which she hasn't told me, although Pineapple has been mentioned) then it is resealed making sure no flies have got it (very important). Each family/person has their recipe and method gleaned from years of experience (think mama's Italian tomato sauce secret recipe etc).

A good Plah Rah/Plah Dairk should only have a moderately pungent smell, but not a gag inducing smell. (For example, My wife's home made Plah Dairk smells no where near as bad as the brown sludge that can be bought at the market in town)

The alarm is the biggest waste on the PCX, never use but by accident.

Why is it wasteful ? I find it adds another level of security, we always have it set.

Or better still move the boats, take them home until the building is finished alt=w00t.gif> or is that too hard.

Why should they ? The contractor has a responsibility to ensure no damages around the site.
