Meiji milk is real pasteurized milk , the closest to what I'm used to in Europe. Are you sure they don't use powder in Chok Chai ? Most of the coffee bars, including Starbucks only use Meiji.
Chock chai is a very famous dairy farm open to the public here twist korat and suraburi.

Actually this attitude extents downwards, many just comfortable and poor Thais have the same negative attitudes.
It's happened in my extended family too. First time an extended female Thai family member came to our house she instantly, unnecessarily and unfairly verbally berated our maid who is a hill tribe lady who we trust and treat as family.
I have seen this at first hand too. Pathetic seems it runs through the whole strata of society here.

So the Junta spread more rubbish when they declared they cleaned up the prostitutes and assorted undesirables from Pattaya. From the video it's looks like business as usual with girls fighting over fat senior citizens. The authorities really have to stop spewing crap and making themselves and Thailand look stupid.
It's only us guys who live here know the score.

Interesting observations OP, I think there are some basic Thai cultural things that come into play. Thailand basically has a respect for elders thing built into the culture, language etc, in general they are less ageist. Big age differences in relationship are reasonably common, trust security etc being more important.
There appears to be a magic age of 34 where a Thai woman seriously thinks she has missed the boat, and while 20 years older was always an option, 20 years younger gets added to possible partners.
I experienced this in Australia 4-5 years ago, on dateing sites etc, most women were listing a preference for 10-15 years younger, at age 50 this meant I would have been dating 60-65 year old woman.
Sixty five year old females are like the center of Australia , everybody knows where it is but nobody wants to go there. The

They should abolish all traffic on beach road all together with the exception of some baht buses and motorbikes. Let people make big loops using 2nd and 3rd road.
For the large tour buses, yeah they should have drop-off zones close to the hotels and have people walk to extra 500m or so to their hotel.
I got clipped on my hip bone by a speeding prick on a huge motorbike several years ago, when there were very few buses , my point is ban one problem another takes it place .

Sounds like you were lucky and were spared the abomination that is A1 sauce, it's some American barbecue sauce that can be found festering on the counter tops of Denny's, IHOP, Applebee's and all the other diners from LA to New York.
Not a patch on HP and IMHO only good for removing stains from the toilet bowl !!Utter trashy reply , you have zero knowledge.

HP sauce in Makro, Foodland and Friendship Pattaya. Also seen in Tesco and Big C, but not always.
Something called A1 sauce in Tesco and Big C - I've never tried it. It looks like brown sauce.
If you're near a Tops supermarket ... http://www.tops.co.th/en/search?q=hp+sauce&dept=&brand=&page=1
A 1 sauce is thevAmerican version of H P , slightly more runny but has a good taste.

Such utter nonsense and negativity, sounds like you are a very bitter person. Is this a reflection on your own life.?

It's not far off being a ghost town already. The big question here is how are they going to regulate it and what will those regulations allow or not allow.
Having everything licensed is fine, but it defeats the object if you go too far and kill the place.
Do you think the bib give a damn about licensing laws , who can open what time, they do yes but only for revenue gathering.
i used to say in New York City money can buy you anything you want but compared to Pattaya they are ameteurs.

What a sad reflection on the country that a bus driver feels that it's necessary to carry a sword for protection when going about his duties.
Did you see the haul of weapons the bib collected from the mini van drivers when they were moving them away from victory monument, every one of them had a sword or axe or machete.

Bangkok aims to halve road deaths

You all can rant on as much as you like, the only way road deaths would be reduced here is to ban everyone from driving, then only the ones who could pay the bib would be driving, hence few could pay , result less deaths.
jeeeez I should be a politition in the government, oh no I forgot we don't have one , silly me.
