Buy insurance: British tourist issues warning after moped crash

Are you also not qualified to ask the medical institutions where you're received treatment to provide the accurate and complete information? Can you remember any of them? So then, the insurance co. should probably check for you, no? -

And so my point: exercise may not help with diet, as you were trying to contend. No, the sensation of being hungry after exercise is preeminently physiological. As I noted, deficit is much more complicated than you believe. But we're talking about people who definitely don't know that, so irrelevant. I don't really know that myself. Being low carb, I just eat till I'm full. You don't really understand that the "calculation" is a moving target and much of it is not under your control. The calories out you do control, exercise, isn't very helpful or can even work against fat loss--as I noted. Well, you got that down, anyway. ???? -

I had a couple of obese friends, husband and wife who enabled each other. Great people, large loving family, many friends, and very hospitable towards me personally. When much younger, before they married, she was thin, he even had something of an athletic build. Hard to believe how they changed. It still pi**es me off that they chose to eat themselves into early graves at around age 72, leaving everyone to miss them for the rest of their lives. This, after gov't insurance had paid about a few million taxpayer dollars over the years to keep them alive. At least her grave is up on a hill with a view in the distance of her favorite store: Target. That always makes me smile anyway. -

Some time ago an old poster had claimed he was so healthy he'd "never been in a hospital." A few posts later, he was patting himself on the back about his low blood pressure and how nothing he ate bothered him. Under questioning, though, it turned out he's not that healthy but rather medicated: Amlodepine 10mg/day, Bestatin, Baby aspirin, Micardis = 20mg. & Doxadozin for BHP. PSA = 5.4. Which, obviously, he'd somehow prescribed for himself. And his TG/HDL ratio was at 3.3, putting him at "moderate risk." That's an important indicator: And helps explain the need for blood pressure meds. I've often suggested to a smug member that an oral glucose tolerance test, not FBS or HbA1C, would reveal the real truth about that insulin resistance, which is behind so many chronic diseases. Nobody wants to do that (ignorance is bliss), but the HOMA-IR indicator is pretty good and just requires you add a fasting blood insulin test to your usual blood work. Read about that here: https://labs.selfdecode.com/blog/homa-ir/ And do the calculation here: https://www.mdcalc.com/calc/3120/homa-ir-homeostatic-model-assessment-insulin-resistance About a week ago, I did my annual exhaustive blood work. All turned out well, even optimum; HOMA-IR was .6. -

Who's programmed you? Right, the processed food industry. So that's IT then. Resistance is futile. Pass the chips. I might would prefer more years beyond 90 to enjoy a meal today and to enjoy it then as well. Besides other stuff. I don't care about all those sheep, 'cept they're drive up the costs of healthcare. You need to be thinking independently if you want to have a chance of being lean and healthy. They're not going to tell you how, even if they knew. --@Mangan150 -

Begs the question of "too many," actually. One of the usual naive fallacies of CICO theory. CO is a dependent variable. The body doesn't necessarily need to get the same amount of energy, but may just conserve the energy it's now getting. That's what frustrates CICO dieters. Oh, it's the same as you'd do if your financial income were reduced: you'd spend less. So they reduced their calories but don't lose weight. To make matters worse, they remain hungry. Hunger always wins. Actually, the CICO method isn't simple and that's one reason it usually fails. Here's simple. I noticed this tweet from Elie Jarrouge today: Eating healthy to lose weight & reverse T2 diabetes & hypertension is simple. For each meal: Pick a protein Pick a source of fat (not seed oil) Pick a vegetable (optional) Eat until you’re full Don’t eat again until you get hungry Don’t complicate it. Google recipes if needed. --@ElieJarrougeMD No apps, no calorie counting, no food scales, no hunger, no plans or schedules, no pushing away from the table (we love that), no hours of sweating in the gym. He's sympathetic to keto, but traditional low carb has always emphasized adding in more veggies--so that members don't get their knickers in a twist. As for recipes, thousands of them out there: https://www.google.com/search?gl=us&hl=en&q=low+carb+diet+menus Trivial inconsequential deficit, and you may just get hungrier and eat more, as you've "worked up an appetite." Improving fitness is all to the good, however. It can also be motivating psychologically to improve diet as well. -
"Related" isn't Hops, specifically. You have no idea how much they brewed in a batch or their particular brewing methods. Nor did I have any reason whatsoever to take pics. So of course you got nothing, just the usual hot air and posturing we have here all the time. I remember mentioning to Tim that the pumps were kinda noisy. He quite agreed but said the owners wouldn't spend the money on replacement/upgrade. And I remember him coming into the TQ looking and feeling tired. Said he'd been up late working on the brewing. If he'd been up late drinking and carousing, he would certainly have said so, no secret there.

"Real." Any minor health issues? Had a comprehensive blood test recently? What do the numbers show? So you need to lose about 7 kg or a bit more. Not so much. But "dieting" is about more than just weight loss. For example, you can be skinny yet still have fatty liver disease. Blood lipids play their part. If you want to fight aging--a rational goal I certainly share--it involves having good metabolic health, therefore good body composition, healthy diet, and regular exercise. Healthspan must be primary, a point your old fat expats try not to think about, or delude themselves, as they chase docs and meds to alleviate symptoms. Longer lifespan, and fewer years of suffering at the end, will likely result from longer healthspan. Why? Normally, barring accidents and bad luck, people die of chronic diseases. Centenarians have the genes to resist them much longer. Since you're probably stuck with the off brand genes (no, your 95-year-old grandmother or great uncle ain't you), the goal should be to postpone chronic diseases manually, so to speak, by adjusting your lifestyle towards avoidance (as the centenarians didn't have to). If not, you acquire them early, often in your 50s. Peter Attia makes this point in his youtube lecture, Reverse engineered approach to human longevity. For example? You might ask yourself why you are compelled to love and enjoy them so much and eliminate the reason. But you may be able to become accustomed to not missing them at all after a time, hard as that may be to believe. I once thought I'd never give up pizza. Then I lost all desire for it, haven't had any in years. There's no need to eat pizza. You may be able to substitute a healthier food or drink that's satisfying enough. I forgot who said this, but knowing that your food is promoting your health and not killing you makes it taste so much better.???? -

Was definitely brewed on the premises, contrary to what ANF Posters have always claimed before, and Tim, the brewmeister, showed me the brewing process. I'd occasionally see him getting big sacks of supplies from the storage area across Soi Yamato. He's gone now, but no reason I know of to assume a successor didn't take over, given the investment. You may present your evidence.

To postpone the onset of major health issues as long as possible. I doubt the OP is fully aware of the state of his health. And he didn't say he has NO issues presently. No. I've seen what poor results that attitude leads to--unless of course the mental state encourages a healthy lifestyle. In fact, all these "happy" self-congratulating old fat guys don't have good physical health and are chasing docs and meds to try to suppress symptoms of the usual chronic diseases arising from an unhealthy lifestyle. They don't like talking about that for some reason, except in the Health forum. Good reading there. -
Are we not happy as Thais by enjoying our constant complaining?

Above average food, above average music (according to your tastes, but listenable, unlike most music heard live around town), doesn't need a refresh, good as is--hence so popular. Only noisy (I think; many wouldn't) when the band's playing at night (weekends only? not sure). Hops tends to be well-attended in the evenings, so it will be commensurately noisier, but not bad; very civilized, middle-class crowd. Daytime's (opens at 2) quiet.

The reverse hyperextension exercise, if done regularly (daily), should help a lot. Jeff Cavaliere explains: You can do these on the side of a bed. I did, when the gyms were closed during COVID. Now I do them at the gym. -

Rather, you yourself have begged the question and provided a complex question fallacy. It's up to you to provide evidence that it hasn't, as I said already and you ignored. And I gave you an excellent example of it's being enforced. ???? Laughable. Then the regulation is enforced by requiring the closure of the building. I guess your problem now is that you're having a hard time accepting that, after all this, you had no real point to make. So, just going around in circles.
