  1. If the motorcycle driver intended to eventually go the correct way and do a u-turn surely he could have done it on that straight and very wide and well lit stretch of road, especially at that time of morning.

Don't tell me he was headed for a u-turn a little way up the road.Thinking a bit more about it perhaps the passenger told him to do a left turn somewhere just after the accident spot.Whichever way you look at it he was still on the wrong side of the road and having done it probably hundreds of times, it eventually caught up with hih.My sympathy to his family however may he RIP,and hope the passenger fully recovers

The alleged trafficker, the rank of this policeman should have more nouce to keep an arms length from him, even if they were best mates from the hood.

    Asking for trouble.

Now how does this rate with the porky on the watches? Well its way up there. And that is how the Thai People will see it.

All it takes is a long drawn out investigation and slowly let it slide and all is well again and forgotten.I vaguely remember Koh Tao (??? haha) and Prawit is slowly going the same way just as sure this will. It's only a matter of time.

Brakes worked fine when when she actually applied them.

Pity that car didn't have a steering wheel, just a little to the left would have saved all this, but she would have had to put her phone down first though.Although even one hand on the wheel could have saved that nurse.Anyway I give that driver 10 out of 10 for coming up with brake failure.Good job the police cannot work out how the brakes suddenly came on immediately after the accident.

but its ok for topless waitresses in underwear to serve beer in certain establishments

You miss the point-------- There's 100,000bt in the offing here.I would summon him myself if I thought he would give me 100,000bt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those other establishments you talk about I would say are already paying a handsome price for that privilege ,the same as thousands of others.

Not in my world it doesn't but I recognise that in their world it does.

Is there a pamphlet for tourists that tell them that never rep;y to a Thai if he shouts at you

Do not ever complain about anything or you may be killed

Do not come here wearing jewelry you will get hurt--maybe seriously.

If a Thai tries to sell you something---BUY IT---it could save your life

If a Thai asks you for money, don't ask what for just give it to him or you may

    spend weeks in Hospital

That should bring the Tourist numbers up a bit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Man o Man : "Tae Kwon Do"for a 4 yr old.???? When I was his age I was given  some pencils and a colouring book and spent ages just lying on the floor with them. Mind you--- Teach him how to fight will put him top of the class later on in life when he joins a school gang and goes out on the streets looking for a fight !!!!!.

By my maths 9000 per day times 365 is just over 3 millions a 6 million cap is not going to reduce things.

HaHa I didn't do the maths---- thanks for that, Just goes to show how much interest these people have and how they are coping with figures. Then someone mentioned that all this money is not going into the places that it was designed for. That's strange ---- where's it all going ?:smile::smile:

Yea,I'm just getting my head around all these relationships, but I got to say this case has been the source of amusement for more than one morning and lets face it,there's nothing like a good laugh to start the day.Thank you TV

Haha, a second career possibility, or doing movie reviews.

In all seriousness, David is one of those guys who has "big dreams" but doesn't or hasn't put in the hard work to achieve them...but he can talk a really good game.  Like many who have gone through divorces and personal scandals (related to his political career), and then a dramatic weight loss, he's trying to "reinvent" himself by finding a younger wife and discovering the fountain of youth.

In that sense, he's no different than lots of men.

The major difference is he doesn't have the patience to actually establish a career/security/stability before going through this process.  He's just hoping to wing an "extended vacation" relying on his friend and any limited revenues derived from the tv show.

However, he doesn't strike me as one of those guys who's fixated on having a 16-18 year old "daughter" type than he can control again after already raising a family and reaching his 50's or even 60's.  Those are the scariest situations to me.

    I ask again --------- TMZ?????? ------- Sorry but I just don't know OK ?

As long as it takes to get her green card...maybe fake domestic abuse allegations against David or his best friend for an earlier exit?  She knows he’s an alcoholic, has anger/control issues, limited funds and a limited future.  She’s not attracted to him because all of his negatives are already out on the table.  The last point, she’s not even in the top 30-40% in terms of attractive Thai women in that age range.

    TMZ Headline ???????

Is that the loud voice of experience speaking or are you just pulling a percentage out of thin air?

I have a number of farang friends and most of them, including me,  have been in relationships/marriage with Thai women and still going after many years. There are always ups and downs in any relationship, but that is quite normal.

You paint the picture with too broad a brush I feel. Yes, there are many gold diggers and opportunist females out there, sometimes no more than anywhere else in the world. There are also many conniving and less than worthy men.

If a grown man often many years older than his partner acts foolishly with his finances, then that is his own fault.

But, as I say, in my experience many Thai/ farang partnerships seem to work. It's not always take on the Thai side.

However, I do concede too many western men enter relationships with eyes wide closed.

You can laugh or snigger you people as much as you like but you ratcatcher are right.I came over here at the age of 69 and am now 81 In the first yr I had my fling then settled down and married a lovely and loving Udon Thani lady of 42 and we have had a good time--- Few ups and downs but never over money. That was settled at the beginning .With the small fortune that have still got most of,  I can enjoy them much more than I would be able to than in my home country New Zealand, and my wife is very happy to get someone in the family to do the work in her share of the family rice farm and to me thats her contribution to our relationship, not having ever to buy rice.                                                                                                                        I go to see her family in her ex village and they call in to see us when in town.I am a very moderate drinker of beer and Sangsom, and I gave up smoking in NZ just over 50 yrs.I have just sold my car as traffic turns every trip into a frustrating all day job, anyway I have always Having been listening to all the hard  luck and sometimes naive stories for the last 10 yrs or more over unhappy and sometimes disastrous relationships I thought I would turn the tables and give you a glance at the other side of what life can be like.So from my Wife and myself and  my motorbikes ( we now have 3 of them.) I say just take a little care in the beginning and if you have any doubts walk away. Dougal

Sorry but i disagree with you, i am 20 years older than my 2nd Thai wife.

    We are perfectly happy together.

If as you say headaches will come sooner or later, she would have left me when i was 7 months in hospital, and told i would never walk again.

She has been my rock, pushing me, encouraging me, washes, cleans, basically does everything for me.

Good on ya mate ,I am in the same boat--- and happy
