Is there any need for these images? Unless they're pertinent to the story leave them out.

I suppose lots of people wanting a UK visa is because of the lesser language barriers.
Well it's not for the lifestyle!

Big Joke's wife is bigger than him; daughter of the late Bancha Panitchapong or Hea Cha Florida, Hat Yai businessman (real estate and transport), her inheritance is over Baht 1 billion - I don't think they're running away anywhere.

I doubt she would risk being sent to Rwanda while her asylum application is considered.
She could claim £3,000 if she volunteered for a holiday in Rwanda.

She is probably applying for a long term visa, I suspect that BJ wants his family in a safe country before he reveals the depth and breadth of senior RTP and government officials corruption.
This story is about Nipapan Sukwimon, the wife of Police General Torsak Sukwimon, not Dr Sirinadda Hakparn the wife of Police General Surachate Hakparn.

I'm only just round the corner from immigration, so if they need to hit a quota I'm an easy win.

It was more his criticism and over curiosity about the new immigration bio-security systems and the amount of money 'paid' for them that got him in trouble, and some extra ventilation in his car. Anutin's your man for ridiculous remarks about foreigners.

I only got one home visit (on retirement extensions)
I think it's more an issue with extension based on marriage, they want to be sure you're really married and living together.

Not at all ! So far there have been only accusations against Surachate. It will take real proof for myself and many others to believe otherwise. He has certainly knowledge and proof of a lot of things concerning the RTP and government. I’m quite sure that this proof is in safe hands probably outside Thailand. One thing he is not, and that’s stupid .

Home visit this morning, that's 4 times out of 5 extensions. Phoned half an hour in advance, said they required a witness this time with a copy of their ID. Easy enough to do but something new, previously they've been happy with a couple of signatures and a photo of neighbours. Arrived on time and all done in ten minutes.

87 million is that using Thai Math ?
40.00 million Bank deposits----- from whom/where?
+65.00 " investment
+10.00 " real estate------- only one house?
+13.60 " luxury cars--was import duty paid or did that not apply to DPM
Total = 129.1 Million Baht just 42.1 million out Mia Pen- lie
Investments 6.53 million according to the article not 65 million.
87 million and single, no wonder he's smiling!

And that would help how exactly?
Even if you magicked it away somehow, you're still left with a Malayu population with a different language and culture, a majority in their provinces, but a minority within the country, aggrieved by their situation and mistreatment.

But, the other hassle, and would be a huge hassle is getting any new device authenticated for the Banking apps etc (and all other Apps).
It's actually not too bad. My wife had to go through the process recently after losing her phone. AIS killed the existing SIM and gave her a new one, same phone number, so armed with another phone and the new SIM she was able to set up her bank apps easily enough. I think a different story with a new phone number.

The IO gave you incorrect information.
There are already two reports of returning within the current extension date, whilst having an under consideration stamp.I can well imagine the conversation at immigration...
"You don't have a valid re-entry stamp"
- I do, look there it is
"No, that's no good"
- But Liquorice on AseanNow said it was valid!
"Liquorice said, well in that case sir I must be wrong"
stamp, stamp
"There you go sir, have a nice day"
Should I need to travel during the consideration period, even the period before my existing permission to stay has expired, I will be going to the immigration office for a new re-entry stamp. Better safe than sorry.

Likewise, but I've also started to be a more thoughtful with how much money I remit to my Thai accounts.
